Pol Roger Reserve Brut Champagne

Pol Roger

750 | 13% ABV
Champagne

All the know-how of our firm is revealed in its ability to reproduce each year a blend which is consistent in style and in quality. Elegant and refined, the cuvée Brut Réserve is the champagne of all occasions.

The Brut Réserve is a blend in equal parts of the three champenois grape varieties: pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay from 30 different crus. 25% reserve wines are used to produce this cuvée:

- The Pinot Noir (bringing structure, body and power) is mainly produced from some of the best crus of the Montagne de Reims.

- The Pinot Meunier (ensuring freshness, roundness and fruitiness) is issued from several crus from the Vallée de la Marne and from the Epernay area.

- The Chardonnay (adding its aromatic complexity, finesse, elegance and lightness) comes from Epernay and some of the best crus of the Côte des Blancs.

After four years ageing in our cellars, its style combines complexity, balance and distinction.

TASTING NOTES

Pol Roger Brut Réserve diplays a beautiful golden straw coloured  hue, as well as abundant and fine bubbles. With a powerful and attractive nose, it first delivers aromas of fruit (pear, mango ...) and then releases light flavours of honeysuckle and white jasmine, lingering on vanilla and brioche notes. Behind a frank and dynamic attack, the wine encompasses a nice harmony and a pleasant freshness, whilst preserving some structure. On the palate, flavours of cooked fruit (quince jelly, apricot jam) happily mingle with fragrances of beeswax and acacia honey. The long-lasting aromas, composed of both fruity (candied orange peel, tangerine...) and spicy notes (cardamom, anis) is outstanding.

About the Brand

Created in a small town in the highlands of Jalisco, our founder Dwayne Johnson worked with a Mexican family-owned distillery to build a unique home on the grounds solely for Teremana - Destilería Teremana de Agave. Here they craft Teremana with a love for great tequila made the right way, in small batches, by hand.

TEREMANA IS ABOUT PEOPLE
At Teremana we have a simple goal; to create a high quality, responsibly sourced tequila that brings people together. One that starts conversations, creates laughter, and moments to appreciate those along with us on this journey of life.

SPIRIT OF THE EARTH
Teremana means spirit of the earth. From taking care of the land where we source our agave, to the painstaking process of creating our tequila, to the people we work and spend time with. Teremana stands for taking care of what

A PASSION FOR GREAT TEQUILA
At Teremana we have a passion for great tasting, well crafted ultra-premium tequila. We even had our copper pot stills created by a local artisan here at the distillery. Meticulously crafted high end spirits use copper pot stills, making for a cleaner, smoother liquid.

SUSTAINABILITY
At Teremana, we take sustainability seriously and we work to reduce our impact on the land.  We take 100% of the left over agave fibers from production and turn them into natural compost that is used as an organic fertilizer for the agave fields.  We also use a state of the art water filtration system that cleans the waste water left over from production.  We will continue to strive to reduce our footprint and to take care of our home for generations to come.

FROM OUR FOUNDER
After years of hard work, this is truly a dream come true. My team and I are committed to bringing you the highest in quality tequila, because quality, the people, the land and legacy are what matter most. From all of us here at Teremana, we invite you to COME HAVE A DRINK. DWAYNE JOHNSON

Ardbeg Anthology 13 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardbeg

750 ml | 46% ABV
Whiskey | Scotch

There’s an appetite for all things rare on Islay. Especially at Ardbeg. You’d think that the rare nature of our whisky would be enough, but it’s Islay and her oddities that really stir us.
The Ardbeg Anthology Collection is inspired by tales of unbelievable encounters – legendary brushes with the strangest creatures ever purported to stalk Islay.
Inspired by the seldom-seen Harpy – a winged beast said to inhabit Islay – this legendary edition is a first for the Distillery. The Harpy’s Tale has been matured for 13 years in rare Sauternes wine casks and married with classic Ardbeg ex-bourbon. After over a decade in the cask, soaring smoke swoops into sweetness as Ardbeg’s unmistakable character wrangles with the richness of the Sauternes casks. A supreme aged expression… the taste almost as sensational as the tale…

TASTING NOTES

Aroma: Very distinctively oily, with touches of extra virgin olive oil, sweet briar wood, aromatic herbs (coriander & sage) and a suggestion of smoked lemon peel. A splash of water releases more oiliness, like linseed oil, a gentle waxiness, and a burst of perfumed, aromatic carbolic soap, and finally, a whiff of crème brulee.

Taste: A soft, oily, mouthcoating texture leads into a rich, sweet, smoky palate, with hints of oak moss, treacle, aniseed lozenges and a lovely, sweet, woody/balsamic flavour. This is then followed by smoked apricots and eucalyptus oil.

Finish: Finally comes a lingering, sweet/smoky aftertaste, with a touch of cumin, cardamon and the merest hint of coconut.

Tullibardine 500 Sherry Cask Finish

Tullibardine

750 ml | 43% ABV
Whiskey | Scotch

Following his coronation at the Scone Palace in 1488, King James IV purchased a keg of beer at the Tullibardine Brewery, the first public brewery in Scotland. At the time, the brewery used crystal clear spring water that flowed from the Ochil Hills down to the brewery in order to craft its unique ales. Nearly five centuries later, a Welshman named William Delme Evans purchased the brewery and converted it into a distillery (Evans was also responsible for designing the Jura and Glenallachie distilleries). In 1949, the first drops of Scotch whisky flowed from the distillery's stills and today over six decades later the distillery continues to use much of the same ingredients and methods that the Tullibardine Brewery used in crafting King James' beer, including the same crystal clear spring water. Tullibardine Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made exclusively from locally-sourced malted barley. Once the grains arrive at the distillery, they are milled and mashed before being fermented in the distillery's washbacks. Following fermentation, the wash was distilled by John Black, Tullibardine's longtime master distiller, through the distillery's copper-pot stills (the stills were installed in 1974). Tullibardine legendary master distiller Black, who was born in 1942 at the Cardhu Distillery, has spent over five decades in the Scotch whisky industry until he sadly deceased recently in 2013. Tullibardine Highland Single Malt 500 Sherry Finish Scotch Whisky is also aged in American oak casks that were previously used to mature bourbon. After its initial beauty rest, it is finished for one year in 500-liter sherry butts. As a result, the whisky has a reddish-honey hue, along with an aroma of brown sugar, caramel apples and spices. The aroma gives way to notes of stewed fruit, cinnamon, dates and allspice on the palate, and finishes with hints of milk chocolate, orange zest and cinnamon. Each Tullibardine Single Malt Scotch Whisky represents a unique spirit, distilled in time-honored tradition and finished with a modern twist.

A tale of passion

Nestled amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds countryside, the Cotswolds Distillery was born from a dream to produce delicious spirits in one of the most beautiful regions in the world.

From hedgefunds to HEDGEROWS
It all started back in 2014, when our founder Dan, a native New Yorker and whisky connoisseur, had moved to the Cotswolds after working in finance in London for many years. Seeking to leave behind that world and spend more time in the picturesque countryside of the Cotswolds with his family, it eventually dawned on him that he could combine his love of whisky with his desire to start a new business. A dedicated whisky fan, Dan saw the fields of golden barley around his house in the Cotswolds and had a brainwave ‘I suddenly thought, there’s barley all over the Cotswolds and nobody’s distilling it, let’s be the first!’ Having found a derelict site near his house, he set about building a distillery and a team to run it, and the doors of the Cotswolds Distillery opened in July 2014.

Launching our WHISKY
After three years of eager anticipation, in October 2017 we released our Cotswolds Signature Single Malt Whisky, the first whisky ever to be distilled in the Cotswolds and the one which remains at the heart of our DNA. In the years since its launch, we have expanded our range of single malt whiskies to include our Cask Collection comprising four unique cask expressions, a yearly limited edition Hearts & Crafts series drawing inspiration from the Arts & Crafts movement, and hand-picked single cask releases.

Our Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky is a marriage of carefully selected and blended sherry casks and features in our Cask Expressions Collection. Each yearly batch is unique, drawn from the finest American and Spanish oak hogsheads and butts, some of which have been seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry and others with sweet Pedro Ximénez. All have been sherry-aged through their full maturation for a deeper and more flavourful whisky. Full of dried fruits, chocolate and a touch of spice.

Part of our Cask Expressions Collection, our Cask Strength Founder's Choice Single Malt Whisky is aged exclusively in our founder Dan's favorite casks: STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) ex-red wine barriques. These highly active casks were created by our mentor and renowned whisky consultant, the late Dr. Jim Swan, and give a rich and intense maturation to our fruity new make spirit, offering strong notes of toffee, chocolate and red fruits, as well as a beautiful, deep color.

CAREFULLY SOURCED INGREDIENTS

Malt: 100% locally grown, traditionally floor malted barley from the Cotswolds.

Yeast: Two complementary varieties - Anchor and Fermentis - to ensure good yields and excellent fruity flavors.

Water: Village water supply - filtered, softened and demineralized before use.

Wood: STR (Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred) American oak ex-red wine casks, designed by the late Dr Jim Swan.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Dry hay and cut wood, with dark chocolate and dried figs, and plums in sweet syrup.

PALATE: Warming cereal and toast notes, with lots of fresh red fruits and butterscotch.

FINISH: Hints of spicy oak, lots of dried fruit and a lingering nutty, dry note.

SERVING SUGGESTIONS

Best enjoyed on it’s own, but we don’t believe in rules when it comes to drinking whisky – sip this neat, over ice, in a cocktail – however you like!

Cardenal Mendoza Angelus Liqueur

Cardenal Mendoza

750 ml | 40% ABV
Liqueur | Amaro

Cardenal Mendoza Angêlus is a liqueur based around Sherry Brandy, with Seville oranges, lemons, cardamom and clove. The most exclusive part of Cardenal Mendoza, the Angels’ share, takes on a new dimension in the form of a liqueur. Angêlus is a liqueur based around our classic Sherry Brandy.

The Angel's Share

Using the classic Cardenal Mendoza Brandy as its base, Angêlus is made by blending in the essences of the natural ingredients, principally bitter oranges and orange peel and cardamom, and ageing the blend in butts already seasoned with Sherry to achieve perfect balance.

This creates a unique, original and distinctive product which is enormously versatile.

Tasting Notes

Bright mahogany in colour with glinting amber highlights. On the nose it has fresh, intricate citrus and spiced notes which evoke sweet, tangy aromas of dried fruits. The palate offers an explosion of citrus notes, with lots of orangey bitterness from the bitter oranges, a sophisticated hint of spice and a slight toasted note, all balanced by some sweetness. The finish is seemingly endless.

Angêlus is amazingly versatile.

It is delicious on its own or with a little honey as a winter warmer helped by its spicy note. At other times of year it works beautifully neat with ice and a slice of orange, or as a long drink with lemonade or sparkling water. It also makes a very sophisticated version of the Alexander cocktail, shaken with ice and fresh cream. In the kitchen it makes a superb crèpe Suzette and a few drops vastly improve a fruit salad.
