An ever-changing specimen, Rhetoric is an experiment in how barrel maturation imparts a lasting impression year after year. Each new year results in an older and wiser limited release from remaining maturing stock. A conversation piece if there ever was one.

Each sip starts with a smoky, leathery nose that translates into vanilla oak, toasted rye, and dried fruits, and concludes with a long, full finish of cherry blossom and bitter chocolate.

Our sixth release, this 25-year-old Bourbon Whiskey has an aroma rich in oak and vanilla notes with hints of dried fruit, cherries and allspice. Oaky notes with nutmeg, caramel, and cocoa give way to a warm and slightly spicy finish.

Vincent Chaperon became Dom Pérignon Chef de cave in 2019, after a thirteen-year apprenticeship alongside Richard Geoffroy, Dom pérignon former Chef de Cave. Vincent sees Dom Pérignon’s vision – harmony as a source of emotion – as a true raison d’être. This vision imparts meaning to his creative ambition and guides him in the missions entrusted to him: Reinventing the champagne each year to surprise and delight, balancing the constraints of the year and the uniqueness of Dom Pérignon. Drawing inspiration from the origins of the Maison, Vincent Chaperon perpetuates Dom Pérignon’s aesthetic ideal; nurtures its creative heritage, and brings his expertise as well as his sensibility.

The Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release is a Limited Edition Reposado developed from agave grown on our property at the Cazadores Distillery in Los Altos de Jalisco – Arandas, MX. A limited amount of the product has been made, and the unique blend of liquid will serve as a time capsule to celebrate our Centennial anniversary, never to be recreated again.

The reposado tequila has a bright gold color from the unique blend of tequila from American oak and new French oak barrels. Tequila Cazadores 100 Year Estate Release has a smooth and sweet taste with a citrus and vanilla finish and an aroma of intense cooked agave with fruity and spicy notes.

100 Estate Release is a blend of tequilas aged separately in hand selected French oak and American oak barrels for 3 months and then blended together.

This blend from Matsui was launched in 2019 for the Japanese market. Homemade malt whiskey and purchased grain whiskeys from Scotland are used. They mature in barrels of American oak before being married to each other. A mild and fruity blend from the house of Matsui.

Barrel ageing has infused Sanin with a faint vanilla aroma and fruity notes of pair on the finish. The fresh, underground water of Mount Daisen delivers a smooth, mellow taste in this light and refreshing whisky.

International Spirits Challenge 2020 Japanese Blends No Age Statement - Gold

SanFrancisco World Spirits Competition 2020 - Gold

This collaboration blend is an excellent representation of Wolves’ signature blend. It contains a higher pilsner whiskey content than some prior releases and drinks well in the cold weather. The craft Stout and Pilsner beer whiskeys were distilled over 10 days period in a small, alembic pot still that was imported from Cognac, France in 1983. These beer distillates were aged in used French oak and New American oak, respectively. The vanilla, hops, and sweetness on the front palate are cut by the spice of the Indiana rye whiskey on the finish. The result is a decadent flavor and texture experience. “Undefeated” was bottled at 103 Proof, with each bottle wrapped by hand in an Olive sheepskin label. Arrives with a canvas sleeve.

EL TESORO 85TH ANNIVERSARY

To create this unparalleled expression, we worked with our friend and Jim Beam Master Distiller, Fred Noe, aging our tequila in the legendary Booker’s 30th anniversary barrels for over three years. The result is a complex spirit layered with sweetness, oak, and cooked agave. It’s a tequila deserving of the legacies that brought it to life.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cooked agave, cherries, seasoned oak, leather, spices, molasses, vanilla, toffee and a touch of maple syrup.

Palate: Sweet, liquorish, cooked agave, black berries, oak, almonds, banana, tobacco, spices, coffee, caramel and pepper.

Finish: Sweet, long & creamy, with a touch of spices.

The History

Father Juan de San Miguel, a Franciscan missionary born in Spain, founded the original Indian settlement in 1542 and named it San Miguel Viejo after his patron saint. By the end of the 16th century, San Miguel was a booming town, flourishing with agriculture, ranching and tanneries. It was then renamed San Miguel el Grande.

Heroes of the Independence

The heroes of Mexico’s independence movement were born in San Miguel el Grande, including General Ignacio Allende, Father Miguel Hidalgo, José Marino and Juan Aldama. On March 8, 1826, the Guanajuato state government honored Allende’s heroism by renaming San Miguel El Grande to San Miguel de Allende.

The first tequila rested exclusively in Mizunara casks, a rare oak native to Japan, traditionally used for aging Japanese whiskies, Casa Dragones Reposado Mizunara, 100% Blue Agave Reposado tequila; This delicately rested tequila perfectly balances the minerality of our agave with the light notes of Japanese oak, for a refined, elegant sweetness that defies the ordinary.

CRAFTED WITH A MEDLEY OF BOURBONS AGED SINCE 2008-2014.

Remus Bourbon is proud to introduce the highly-anticipated Remus Repeal Reserve Series VI Bourbon, the latest edition of the award-winning series. Crafted with a medley of five rare bourbon reserves from 2008-2014 at the historic Ross & Squibb Distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, Series VI continues our high-quality tradition with aromas of nutmeg and saddle leather, followed by notes of candied fruit, fig jam, oak and barrel char, mint and slight caramel, nutmeg, toffee and honey. The finish features sweet candied fruit, leather and a lingering sweetness and rye spice. It hits shelves in September for National Bourbon Heritage Month, and judging by the anticipation for Series VI, it won’t last long.

The GlenDronach Cask Strength offers connoisseurs a deep insight into the distillery’s signature character, by bottling at the whisky’s natural cask strength, as was the custom before the turn of the 20th Century. Add a drop or two of water to reveal a cornucopia of flavour – from richly spiced bramble wine and treacle toffee, to lingering Seville orange peel and nutmeg layered with caramel and maraschino cherry. Such is the reward of our eleventh batch of The GlenDronach Cask Strength, a richly sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky matured in fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks.

As with all expressions of The GlenDronach, all of the natural colour is drawn from slow maturation in Spanish oak casks.

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE: Deep bronze.

NOSE: Mulled cranberry, orange and clove liqueur meld with dark honeyed treacle on a base of nutty oak.

PALATE: Richly spiced bramble wine and treacle toffee interweave with chocolate raisin, cinnamon maple and sultana.

CONCLUSION: Lingering Seville orange peel and nutmeg layered with caramel and maraschino cherry.

American rye whiskey with organic raw honey and orange peel. At 80 proof, Stolen X has a kick but is smooth going down. Shoot or sip over ice.

Yamato was created by Aiko Importers after learning of excess barrels of Japanese Whisky at one of the largest distilleries in the Yamanashi Prefecture in Japan, located southwest of Tokyo on the main island of Honshu. Aiko Importers was able to acquire the whisky, and under Japanese authority, develop Yamato, as an exclusive, small batch brand.

The Japanese characters on the label translate to the words; "great harmony"....the perfect description for the rich whisky. According to the distillery, the Yamato is a blend of malted Scotch whisky and a distillate made from select grain grown in the Yamanashi Prefecture.

The Kofu Basin, a land-locked, fertile central valley, is surrounded by many of the highest mountains in Japan including the world renowned Mt. Fuji. The mini-climate created by these geographical features and fertile soil slows the maturation of the grains imparting a unique richness of flavor. The cold winters and firey summers intensify the aging process of the whisky, imparting flavor and boldness to the blend. To maintain the natural character of the whisky, it is not chill filtered. Yamato is a blend of 3 to 8 year whisky aged in Mizunara Oak barrels.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Distinct licorice - bourbon notes with near perfect toasted honeycomb and toffee aromas.

Taste: Outstanding richness and sheen with a plump barley-oak sweetness. Light anise and molasses add a pleasurable dimension. Vanilla, nougat and hazelnuts.

Finish: Round Vanilla, soft oak, toffee, mid-palate dryness

As they say, opposites attract – so we decided to test that theory. Our Jalapeño Honey Bird Dog Whiskey blends two unexpected flavors for an irresistible combination. This sweet heat features light honey and vanilla aromas with hints of spicy, fresh Jalapeño. Just before the heat gets the best of you, the sweet honey brings you back in for another sip. This gold medalist from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition takes center stage in our Party Dog cocktail.
