Vanilla is a spice consisting of the fruit of certain tropical creeper orchids of Mesoamerican origin.
The plants cultivated for the production of vanilla are the only orchids cultivated for human consumption. To obtain a richly aromatic spice, the cultivation and processing of vanilla requires long and attentive care from farmers. This makes it, by weight, one of the highest value agricultural food products in the world.
It was the planters from Réunion who introduced, around 1880, the cultivation of vanilla to Madagascar. Today, Madagascar produces 60 to 80% of the vanilla in the world.

About the Brand

The Camarena brothers used to run the Santa Maria ranch from sunset to sunset. The only thing that could stop them was their parents call to come home for dinner.

Driven by the unbridled passion that lived in their hearts, one afternoon in the cold winters of 1976, they left the ranch without permission to ride their horses, taking them to the municipal lane of Arandas for a clandestine race of 100 rods, the young brothers looked at each other with the certainty that this day would remain engraved in their memories; with passion and enthusiasm, they set off on their horses in an unprecedented race, competing head to head….

A few meters from the end of the race, the unexpected happens, they see that the chain of the finish line is set and they know perfectly well that their end is near… Suddenly, the imposing mare «Paloma» runs to line up next to the horse «Pinto», and with the sum of their strength they manage to break the chain, saving the lives of the Camarena brothers. That moment was the motivation to follow a dream, Tequila Carrera.

On the Rocks Premium Cocktails was launched in 2016 by Andrew Gill, Patrick Halbert, and Rocco Milano in Dallas, Texas with the idea to bring the cocktail bar experience into the comfort of your home. They produce premium craft ready-to-drink cocktails using the finest natural ingredients and proper spirits. Their aim is to bring the whole experience of having a consistently perfect cocktail, without the need for multiple ingredients and equipment, and without sacrificing taste. No preservatives are added and the range is sweetened with cane sugar only. After securing several partnership deals with airlines and hotels that recognized the quality of the product the list includes Four Seasons, Hyatt, Hilton, and Hawaiian Airlines the company took off in a big way. ""My focus was to create bar-quality cocktails that had balance and subtlety of charactermaking cocktails that have layers of complexity rather than being overly sweet, boozy, or otherwise. TASTE: The notes of smell are confirmed in taste; this is a very smooth product to the plate. Balanced and fresh, with a slight flavor of cacao, fresh and sweet fruit, peach, and berries. Of great presence within the palate.

NOTES: An impressive and distinguished product with harmony and balance; a great permanence and smooth sensation in the palate; citrus notes, grapefruit and peach. Fresh and light notes of wood, characteristics that distinguish it.

The Glen Grant Single Malt Scotch Whisky 21-Years-Old is matured in the highest quality ex-oloroso sherry casks and bourbon barrels each hand-selected by the Master Distiller himself and married in small batches. Matured in a slightly higher proportion of Oloroso Sherry casks, this sublime 19 year old whisky is the epitome of an aged Ardbeg. This sublime Traigh Bhan, like the bottles before it, inspired by Islay’s Traigh Bhan beach (pronounced tri-van). TASTING NOTES

A splash of water releases a cascade of hazelnut, sweet vanilla, and currants, before rich minted chocolate brings the nose to a close.

Taste: An intense wave of wood smoke crashes over the palate, leaving ripples of decadent dark chocolate and ground coffee in its wake. Sweeter notes of lemon curd and peanut brittle cut through the swell to reveal delicate hints of creamy raisin fudge and hazelnut. The allure of this rare dram continues with suggestions of more medicinal, spicy notes. Menthol, fresh lemongrass, aniseed, clove and white pepper emerge from rich, smoky depths.

Finish: Sweet and peat collide with creamy vanilla fudge, dark cocoa powder, and a warm, woody clove tingle. A sharp, intense, and satisfyingly long finish.
