Volcan x.a, is an innovative blend of reposado, añejo, and extra-añejo tequilas, only made with 100% blue agave – free of any additives, bringing the art of blending into the world of tequila. It is a rare proposition in the ultra-premium category.
The 3 layers of aging unveil a very smooth tequila profile. The reposado base brings the right level of sweetness and smoothness, while anejo and extra-anejo add aromatic elegance and complexity. A subtle recipe kept secret by our master distiller.
Volcan X.A reveals a perfect balance of cooked agave, hints of spices, and sweet aromas such as notes of vanilla, caramel, and dried fruits. To be enjoyed neat or on the rocks.

This is a signature label in honor of Nikka's founder Masataka Taketsuru, the first Japanese who mastered whisky-making in Scotland and brought this expertise back to Japan. While being a disciplined craftsman, he was also a person of curiosity and open-mindedness. This is a tribute to Masataka from his successors, highlighting a perfect balance with complexity achieved by precise blending inherited from the founder.

A "pure malt" is a blend of malt whiskies from various distilleries, whereas a "single malt" is a whisky made exclusively from one distillery. A "pure malt" is also known as a "blended malt".

Taketsuru Pure Malt expression launched in 2020, with a refined formula and a new label design to represent the brand. While remaining a smooth and well-balanced blended malt, the formula further showcases an exquisite balance between elegant softness and deep complexity along with rich mouthfeel and smokiness.

A delicate fusion of flavors from seventh-generation distillers, this straight bourbon features a handpicked blend of 4- and 7-year-old bourbons, for an exclusive old-fashioned whiskey that honors its deep family origins.

Detailed Description

SKYY Vodka has been around since 1992, during which time the brand set the distillation and filtration standards. Its history is simple enough: The founder wanted a better-tasting martini, which naturally meant starting with a better vodka. Thanks to SKYY's process, the brand has eliminated most of the vodka's impurities for an award-winning flavor that's remained unchanged for more than 20 years.

Skyy Infusions Cherry Vodka Tasting Notes

Nose: The initial aroma is tremendously ripe and alluring in its true-to-the-fruit-source manner; following aeration the aroma changes to a more cherry preserves leaning than fresh-picked.

Palate: The palate entry is properly sweet, ripe and cherry-like; at midpalate, the taste profile becomes more Maraschino cherry in nature than just-off-the-tree.

Finish: Finishes well and vibrantly fruity.

Ingredients
2 parts Dorda Liqueur | 1 part Chopin Rye Vodka | Shaved chocolate for garnish

* Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker flled with ice and shake vigorously.
* Strain and pour into a chilled cocktail glass of your choice, over fresh ice.

*For variations on this cocktail, try substituting Chopin Rye Vodka with Cointreau, Amaretto, Clase Azul Tequila, coconut rum or whiskey.

At Teremana we have a passion for great tasting, well crafted ultra-premium tequila. We even had our copper pot stills created by a local artisan here at the distillery. Meticulously crafted high end spirits use copper pot stills, making for a cleaner, smoother liquid.

SUSTAINABILITY
At Teremana, we take sustainability seriously and we work to reduce our impact on the land.  We take 100% of the left over agave fibers from production and turn them into natural compost that is used as an organic fertilizer for the agave fields.  We also use a state of the art water filtration system that cleans the waste water left over from production.  We will continue to strive to reduce our footprint and to take care of our home for generations to come.
