Sagamore Spirit Bottled in Bond straight rye whiskey marks our commitment to the highest levels of excellence and authenticity-furthering our mission to make Maryland distilled, aged, and bottled products. Enacted in 1897, the bottled in bond distinction is a marker of distilling quality and transparency. Featuring our first batch of whiskey distilled in Maryland, this 100-proof rye whiskey is a blend of two rye mash bills-a high rye and a low rye-showcasing flavors of rye spice from our grain, fruit and floral notes from our sour mash fermentation, and notes of toasty caramel from our barrel aging.

The Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897 established that spirits with this designation must be a product of one distillation season; at one distillery; aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years; bottled at 100-proof; and produced in the United States.

This product was first introduced in November 2021 and is available now at our distillery and shipping to limited markets across the U.S. in November of 2022.

The Woodford Reserve Distillery is among Kentucky's oldest and smallest bourbon distilleries. Nestled in the heart of the Commonwealth's thoroughbred country, it's the only place you'll find bourbon and horses maturing side by side. It's also the only spirits company in the world to own its own cooperage and crafts its own barrels The Woodford Reserve Distillery sits on what was once an old Distillery founded by Elijah and his son, Oscar Pepper, in the 1800s. Under the stewardship of Oscar and Master Distiller James Crow, their distillery reformed and modernized the process of producing whiskey in the United States the distillery revolutionized the concepts of sour mash and yeast propagation. Nearly two centuries later, Chris Morris Woodford Reserve's seventh master distiller pays homage to Pepper and Crow with Woodford Reserve Double Oaked Bourbon. After Prohibition, the federal government issued the Federal Alcohol Administration Act of 1935, providing guidelines for four distinctive styles of American straight whiskey: bourbon, rye, wheat, and malt. Woodford Reserve now offers all four of these unique expressions in their lineup. Inspired by post-Prohibition American whiskey guidelines this highly anticipated Woodford Reserve Wheat whiskey is influenced by historical recipes. Created by renowned Master Distiller Chris Morris, this special Woodford Reserve is distilled from 52% wheat, 20% malt, 20% corn and 8% rye.

Never chill-filtered or carbon-treated and utilizing a variety of high rye content mash bills to convey an earthy complexity (with a bit of spice). Featuring a mash bill of non-GMO grains at 65% corn,30% rye, and 5% malted barley, it represents a new riff on Kentucky’s most hallowed whiskey traditions. Aged four years in 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in our production. All New Riff whiskeys are made with the full sour mash Kentucky Regimen; all carry an age statement, and are always bottled without chill filtration.

Appearance: Extra rich, unfiltered deep amber color.

Nose: Butterscotch rounding into fresh oak, with hints of vanilla and rye spice.

An authentic 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila made in the Traditional Method. Produced with fully mature 7-10 year agave from 50% Highlands and 50% Lowlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted in brick ovens, slow-fermented, never diffused, roller press extraction, double distilled, Bourbon Barrel Aged 18 months, and additive free.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Its roasted-pineapple opening aroma; more time in the glass allows a peppery almost viscus, floral perfume to develop. Nice aromas of toasted oak and vanilla bean also emerge.

Palate: palate entry shows roasted peppers, orange blossom, and tropical fruit. Then the mid-palate showcases luscious flavors of chocolate, orange, and sugar cookies.

Finish: Aftertaste is naturally sweet, sugary and long. A ton of chocolate, caramel, and dulce de leche flavors are very notable. This is the choice of the most sophisticated consumers searching for the full-body obtained from the more dominant wooden essence.
