The first Single Malt Irish Whiskey distilled in Ireland’s western province of Connacht in over 107 years. Every precious drop is distilled by Brian Taft & hand bottled at The Shed Distillery of PJ Rigney.

OBTAINIUM is exactly what the name implies. We “obtain” barrels from distilleries all over the world. Including the US, Europe, Canada, and The Caribbean. We source these spirits of varying types, light whiskey, rye, bourbon, etc. to create our own blends and products. These products are bottled at either barrel strength or blended to create our signature flavors. That being said, all of our creations, whether it’s a single barrel bottling or one of our blended products, will be unique either to that particular barrel or batch. No two will ever be “exactly” the same. We strive to ensure flavor consistency throughout every batch of our blends to give our fans confidence and the comfort of familiarity. That paired with slight variances in each batch, brings a sense of anticipation for the next batch.

OBTAINIUM Light Whiskey came into existence in 1968 because consumers were moving away from Bourbon and more into clear spirits such as vodka or gin. Light whiskey is distilled between160-190 proof. Contrast that with Bourbon or American Rye which tops out at 160 proof. It must be aged in used, charred oak barrels or new, uncharred oak. Most distilleries didn’t let it age very long. Our Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon is inspired by Heather, the wife of our founder, Kaveh Zamanian. Elegant, sweet, and charming, she is the muse behind our brand. A Louisville native, she introduced Kaveh to Bourbon, luring him away from his beloved Scotch and down a rabbit hole he may have never dared alone.

This super-premium Straight Bourbon Whiskey is carefully crafted by taking our fine wheated bourbon aged in alligator char barrels and resting it in handselected Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks from Spain's renown Casknolia Cooperage. The resulting whiskey is an unmistakably balanced expression that blends modern and traditional whiskey making.

Bushido Series Whisky is known for bringing highly sought after Japanese whiskies to the US market. This time in the form of a 15-year-old pure malt. You'll experience flavors mirroring REI pure malt but intensified. Explosions of tropical fruit, especially pineapple, from the start, then gentle oak from the 15 years spent in ex-bourbon casks, and a finish of smoothness with little to no burn. 

High Plains Rye Whiskey - High Plains Rye Whiskey is bottled at 48.5% and for the inaugural bottling release of High Plains, the JWRD team decided to do something unique. Jim Rutledge selected and expertly blended straight rye whiskeys from four different American distilleries: MGP in Indiana, Middle West in Ohio, Kentucky Artisan in Kentucky and New York Distilling Co. in New York.

Kings County Distillery Straight Bourbon is a bourbon made like a scotch whiskey. We use 80% New York organic corn and 20% English Golden Promise barley for a high-malt recipe that forgoes the wheat or rye typical of Kentucky bourbons. This mash is then double pot distilled for a rich and flavorful white spirit. After aging in a variety of new charred oak barrels for anywhere between 3 and 6 years, our bourbon is carefully blended to ensure quality and complexity. With prominent notes of caramel and vanilla, as well as undertones of dark berries, this bottle is cited frequently in lists of best craft bourbons.

Tasting Notes 

Aroma: hints of maraschino cherries, vanilla beans, freshly brewed coffee, and toffee.

Taste: flavors of raisins, maple syrup, spicy cinnamon, and brown sugar.

Finish: A touch of cinnamon sugar and caramel.

Old Carter is the passion project of “flavor chaser” partners Mark Carter and Sherri Carter, whose beverage industry roots trace back to award-winning careers in the California wine business. After resurrecting the long-dormant bourbon brand Kentucky Owl in 2011, the two were irreversibly hooked on the art of whiskey making and blending. Kentucky Owl sold unexpectedly in 2017, but by then Sherri & Mark were so enamored with the vibrant spirit of Kentucky’s whiskey community, they made a commitment to carry on their love affair with whiskey by making a statement of their own, right in the Bluegrass. And Old Carter Whiskey Co was born.

Headquartered in Louisville, the Old Carter team produces Straight Ryes, Bourbons and American Whiskies in locations throughout Kentucky. Each bottle is personally crafted by Mark and Sherri, who create every blend and select every single barrel program release together.

“Over the past several years, Dovetail has become a highly regarded expression within the BCS portfolio of products and the American Whiskey world,” said BCS Founder Joe Beatrice. “Following the recent success of BCS Gray Label Dovetail, we decided to apply the concept of ‘Dovetail’ to our oldest, rarest stocks. We left these component whiskeys in their finishing casks even longer and included some very high proof barrels to create a blend with an intensity matched only by its nuance and layering.”

Heritage Distilling Co. (HDC) is a craft distillery based in Gig Harbor, Washington. HDC is the most awarded craft distillery in North America by the American Distilling Institute6 years 2014 - 2019). Each Heritage Distilling Co.product has a unique story. This family-owned Craft Distillery makes their spirits by hand. From working directly with the farmers to grow their grains, to ensuring the purity of their water source, to milling the grain, making their own mash and wort and running their own custom made stills. Heritage Distilling embodies a wholehearted Field to Flask ethos. Distilled to the most meticulous standards this Brown Sugar Bourbon is distilled from a corn, rye, and malted barley mash before being barreled at less than 125 proof for at least two years in new American Oak Charred Barrels. The whiskey is then cut to 60 proof with their private crystal clear water source and infused with natural brown sugar and cinnamon flavors.This Brown Sugar Bourbon earned World's Best Flavored Whiskey from World Whiskies Awards in 2018 and 2019.

Wattie Boone & Sons is a Tennessee whiskey named after Wattie Boone, who was the first documented producer of bourbon in Kentucky in 1776. The whiskey is distilled in Tennessee and aged in Kentucky.

Wattie Boone and Sons 7 Year Old Small Batch American Whiskey embodies the family's legacy with its carefully selected grains and traditional craftsmanship. Aged for seven years in charred oak barrels, it boasts a warm amber hue and offers a balanced palate of caramel, oak, and subtle spices. This whiskey is a testament to the Boone family's commitment to quality and tradition, delivering a smooth and complex spirit perfect for savoring neat or in classic cocktails.

The cask proof version of our ever-popular Roundstone Rye is a very special expression.  Released at approximately 58% ABV (it varies depending on the individual barrels), this is seriously strong whisky!  Delicious, dark, complex and ridiculously smooth for the proof, Roundstone Rye Cask Proof is released only about twice per year.

The principal author of the Declaration of Independence and one of the greatest Founding Fathers, Thomas Jefferson was elected the third President of the United States in 1800. During his tenure, Jefferson authorized the purchase of the Louisiana Territory, dispatched Lewis and Clark westward in order to explore the remainder of the continent and repealed the Whisky Excise Tax. After Jefferson retired from public office in 1815, he often tended to the garden that he had cultivated on his Monticello estate. At the time, it was customary for wealthy farmers, including Jefferson, to distill the excess grains they harvested from their farms into spirits (George Washington was one of the country's largest distillers of rye whiskey). As a result, each farmer's spirits were unique and reflected the local terroir of their farm. Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey pays homage to Jefferson and the exquisite whiskey he distilled. Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Cask Strength Bourbon is first matured in older bourbon casks for approximately six to eight years on land, before the casks are placed on a ship and allowed to rest for another several months at sea. At sea, the bourbon and oak casks are forced to mingle with each other as the ship which stops in five different continents and crosses the equator four times during the journey rolls back and forth over the water. In addition, the temperature and barometric pressure fluctuations during the sea voyage cause the oak staves to expand and contract, and allow the bourbon to extract more of the tannins and flavor from the oak during its maturation. Bottled at cask strength for the first time, Jefferson's Ocean Aged At Sea Cask Strength Bourbon has an aroma of cinnamon buns, orange zest, burnt sugar and marshmallow. Thick notes of salted caramel, figs and chocolate fudge dominate the palate, and lead to a playful finish accented by sweet mint, lemon cake and nutmeg. We have only a handful of bottles available.

Nestled deep within the idyllic Boyne Valley on the legendary grounds of Slane Castle, Slane Distillery brings you a whiskey that bears our village's iconic name. Slane Whiskey is aged using our signature 'Tripled Casked' method. This involves resting our Grain and Malt whiskies between three different cask types; Virgin Oak, Seasoned Oak and Oloroso Sherry. These casks are then blended to create an exceptionally complex, smooth Irish whiskey. This whiskey is our testament to the character of the people of Slane and to all those who take pride in building their own legacy.
