HOW IT'S MADE

Milled, mashed, fermented and distilled utilizing 100% rye grain, this spirit is matured for a minimum of two years in new oak barrels, then laid to rest in a former-fill cabernet barrel to impart a secondary finish. The result is a distinctive whiskey infused with the essence of fine red wine, creating a palate with complex notes of stone fruit, smoke, and spices. Dented Brick Limited Edition Barrel Finished Straight Rye Whiskey is brought to proof with artesian, limestone-filtered water sourced directly from the snowy and majestic Rocky Mountains, creating a unique flavor profile crafted from this pure and mineral rich water.

Today, this stamp certifies that the production of this whiskey meets the highest of standards. Made from 81% ABV light rum base distilled from sugar cane molasses in the US Virgin Islands, this rum is blended with natural coconut syrup and edible glitter to create the perfect spirit base for any fruity cocktail. As soon as this wine hits the glass, sparkling clarity meets the eye. A nose of morning mist, bright green moss and honeydew melon are layered over notes of fluffy clotted cream. On the palate, chalky vitamins frame a firm fruit core of kiwi, lemon and tart lychee.

General/vintage info: 2021 saw two unusual cold snaps in the late spring, which brought Chardonnay yields down - however our Pinot Noir yields narrowly escaped the frosts and gave us an abundant harvest! Despite the rocky start to this vintage, it finished strong with idyllic mild temperatures that extended well into October. The wines are coy and delicately layered. We suspect this vintage will age extremely well. The Willamette Valley Chardonnay fermented in a barrel and aged for 11 months before moving to stainless steel for the remaining 5 months before bottling.

Tasting Note: The 2021 Willamette Valley Chardonnay represents our evolving program, combining Draper and Wente clones as well as barrel and stainless-steel aging. As soon as this wine hits the glass, sparkling clarity meets the eye. A nose of morning mist, bright green moss and honeydew melon are layered over notes of fluffy clotted cream.
