Our delicate La Marca Prosecco has a pale, golden straw color and sparkles with lively effervescence. Opening with aromas of fresh-picked citrus and honeysuckle blossoms, the crisp, clean palate brings fruity notes of green apple, juicy peach and ripe lemon, framed by hints of minerality. The finish is light and refreshing with a tantalizing hint of sweetness.

Winemaking Notes

The grapes for La Marca Prosecco were selected with great care from small vineyards throughout the Prosecco DOC. After harvest, the grapes were crushed and then pressed in gentle membrane presses. The juice was allowed to cold settle before initial fermentation in upright stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 65°F. The still wine was aged on its lees prior to secondary fermentation.

NOSE: Dried apricot, nutmeg, cinnamon toast, hints of leather and light tobacco.

Due to Denver’s high altitude and the usage of new American Charred Oak barrels, Mountain Angel had a unique angel’s share loss that allowed Stranahan’s to achieve a 10-Year-Old Single Malt with a depth of flavors and aromas comparable to a Scotch Whisky more than twice its age.

After 10 years in new American oak barrels, Stranahan’s Mountain Angel is pushing the boundaries of American Single Malt Whiskey, producing a flavor profile never before achieved in the category. Mountain Angel’s very limited quantities is a testament to premium quality, patience and the small batch approach associated with Stranahan’s.

This U.S. exclusive special bottling of single malt whiskey was originally matured in ex-Bourbon barrels before being finished in Chestnut casks, resulting in an unusual and complex flavor profile featuring a distinctive, yet not overpowering, Chestnut influence. Bottling at cask strength from Chestnut Cask No. 29555 with no filtration completes this Irish whiskey of true character.

Hidden away from the Customs Officers and soldiers amongst the hills and abundant springs, George had time to distill slowly making a whisky that would soon become world renowned. In August 1822, King George IV arrived in Scotland for a state visit and asked to try a drop of the infamous Glenlivet whisky. An illegal dram it was, but even that didn’t stop the King. 

By the late ‘30’s, The Glenlivet distillery was producing more than 200 gallons a week. This expansion meant our founder would soon need more employees. A few years later, Andrew Ushers & Sons of Edinburgh joined as sales agents, helping spread the word of the whisky.

To this day we continue George Smith's vision to break traditions, set new standards and move things forward; selecting exceptional unique casks, finishes and liquids and delivering unique serves and cocktails to open up the world of single malt to all.

Our Glenlivet 12 Year has been called a lot of things in its time: smooth, fruity, complex, sophisticated, entertaining, classic. The Original Malt Whisky Almanac says: “A first-class malt. One of the most popular malts in the world – deservedly so.” Representing The Glenlivet’s signature style, this classic malt is first matured in traditional oak, before spending time in American oak casks which impart notes of vanilla and gives the whisky it’s distinctive smoothness. The mineral-rich water that comes from Josie’s Well helps form the flavors during mashing and fermentation, whilst the specific height and width of the copper stills add a delicate yet complex character.
