Crafted in 1849 at Stitzel-Weller, Rebel Yell's original wheat-based recipe marked a bourbon twist. In 1936, Mayor Charles F. Farnsley registered "Rebel Yell," producing limited batches for the southern U.S. After the 1980s, LUXCO Spirited Brands took over. Now, over 150 years later, Rebel Yell Small Batch Reserve maintains the legacy with a slightly higher proof (90.6), offering a complex profile of caramel, oak, vanilla, and brown sugar. With notes of wheat crackers and sugar cereal on the palate, it finishes subtly with hints of orange peel and dark chocolate, uniting heritage and modern tastes, available nationwide for the first time.
