Walt Sonoma Coast Chardonnay Wine 2020
The 2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is comprised of fruit sourced primarily from the Bob's Ranch Vineyard, as well as the Sangiacomo Vineyard. Bob’s Ranch Vineyard is characterized by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Coastal breezes along with low rolling hills and morning fog define this cool climate. The Sangiacomo Vineyard is a certified sustainable vineyard, first planted in 1969. The block we source from is entirely "Old Wente" field selection. The proximity to the Pacific Ocean and San Pablo Bay makes this site ideal for growing Chardonnay.
2021 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay opens with vibrant aromas of lemon zest, fresh apple, crisp peach, and vanilla cream. The palate is round and flavorful, finishing with bright acidity and a note of spicy ginger.
