During the California Gold Rush, gold dust served as the preferred currency. A miner would open his purse of gold, offering merchants and barkeeps to take a pinch of dust as payment. Prosperous merchants were said to have ‘Fat Thumbs,’ thanks to a reputation for taking generous pinches of gold. In blending Argonaut Fat Thumb, our Master Distiller showed she too had a ‘Fat Thumb’ when pulling from our alembic brandy stocks. The resulting blend showcases the quality of some of our more scarce blending legs. Fat Thumb offers baked apple cobbler, overripe pear, toasted oak, coconut, vanilla, nutmeg and clove, red apple, overripe pear, traces of caramelized banana, rich, silky mouthfeel.

Villa One comes in Silver, Reposado and Aejo expressions and wasmade at Finos de Fabrica Tequilas distillery by Arturo Fuentes, The Godfather of Tequila. Unlike most tequilas, Villa One sources agave from both the highland and lowland regions of Jalisco. Villa One combines the herbaceous, earthy lowland notes and the sweeter, fruity notes of highland agave giving unique character, and a distinctively smooth finish. It is made with artesian well water and only the finest, sustainably sourced 100% blue weber agave, matured 5-7 years.

Diplomtico Ambassador is an exquisite rum crafted from the distillery's best rums, and aged in white oak barrels for a minimum of twelve years and until optimal maturity is achieved.

After, the rums are finished for two additional years in Pedro Ximnez sherry casks, contributing to this rum's complex sensory profile. Diplomtico Ambassador is bottled directly from the barrel in order to preserve the full expression of its organoleptic properties.

Diplomtico Single Vintage is crafted from a selection of special rum reserves that evolved in an exceptional way, drawing the interest of the Maestros Roneros for their distinctive character. This special liquid is separated from the rest of the reserves for its uniqueness, and to be shared with rum enthusiasts. Distilled in vintage copper pot stills in the year indicated on the label, the rum is then aged in bourbon and single malt whisky casks for twelve years.

After the aging process, the Maestros Roneros carefully blend the rum in order to obtain the structure, body, personality, flavors and aromas that they are looking for. Finally, the rum spends a year in Spanish sherry casks to provide the perfect finish.

Diplomtico Reserva Exclusiva is an elegant and complex sipping rum, carefully crafted from the purest of sugar cane honeys. It is delicately distilled in ancient copper pot stills and aged in small oak casks for us to twelve years. Marrying a unique body with excellent balance has made it a reference fir rum lovers and connoisseurs throughout the world.

Planas is an extraordinary blend of pot still, column and batch kettle rums. Aged for up to 6 years, it is elegant, rich, and surprisingly intense for a white rum, The complex charcoal filtration process carried out prior to bottling gives this rum its crystal clear appearance and smooth finish.

Mantuano is an excellent blended rum aged for us to eight years in white oak casks, which previously served to age bourbons and malt whisky. It combines column, batch kettle, and pot still distillates elaborated from sugar cane molasses and honeys.
