We have a Confession to make – we didn’t make this bourbon. While we never intended to bottle and sell bourbon we didn’t craft, the need to slow the run on our aging inventory overruled our sense of moral authority in this space. And, as such, the first Chapter of our Confession was appropriately named, “Original Sin.” The process of bringing confession to life was more fun than we anticipated so stay tuned for more chapters in this tell-all story where you can expect transparency and premium brown liquid. As we take this journey together, we promise its conclusion to end in penance.

Caravan Tea is dried over burning pine needles. This 17th century process imparts a smoky note versus traditional air-drying. The readied tea was exported via camel, with other spices, on the Silk Road enroute to the Russian Tsars. Drying the leaves over burning pine needles evokes notes akin to smoke-peated whisky. The Distillation captures the rich notes of the Lapsang Souchong leaf. The botanicals of cardamom and long pepper carefully frame the character of our Distilled Russian Caravan Tea gin with a titillating smoke note.

A Contemporary Gin is different to London Dry Gin – the juniper is second in character to the tea. Distilled tea gins are difficult to make. It took 12 months to perfect the recipe of 10 botanicals in our Earl Grey Gin to achieve aroma, flavor, balance and stability. Our Earl Grey Gin is produced with the tea in the still. The Distillation captures the pure essence of the black tea and bergamot citrus. It is the Bergamott that defines the character of our distilled Earl Grey Tea gin. As a result the liquid is clear without tea tannin or color that occurs in the steeped version.

Maker Notes

The Rooibos bush (a.k.a. RED BUSH) was almost lost to the world and then rediscovered in 1772. It is native to the mountains of the Cedarburg Wilderness, Western Cape South Africa. The leaves are bruised, fermented then air dried; the fermentation brings out the fruit note. The Distillation captures the pure essence of the RED BUSH tea. The botanicals of cassia and cubeb pepper frame the character of our Distilled Cape Tea gin.

Park City distilled Bourbon aged a minimum of 2 years in new American Oak barrels.  OU Kosher

Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel, toffee, butterscotch, vanilla, rich honey, sticky bun, baked goods, banana, strawberry, pear, citrus, light cinnamon, cloves, spice, oak.

Palate: Caramel, butterscotch, butter, honey, orange blossom honey, glazed donut, dried fruit, orange peel, cherry, banana, ginger, oats, light toast, toasted almond, sweet mint, clove, spicy, black pepper, smoke, woody, oak, port wine, velvety, creamy mouthfeel.

Finish: Banana, dry ginger, cinnamon, spicy, oak, cedar, clean, smooth, round, pleasant, delicious.

A blend of Kentucky Bourbon with Stone Fruit & Cinnamon brings a delightful balance of sweet and spice to your cocktail creation - or, for many, the perfect flask whiskey.  The Spicy version adds a Thai Chili Pepper to the profile and is produced on a limited-run series. The history of spiced whiskies date back to the earliest days of Kentucky distilling and this Stone Fruit interpretation has won accolades in numerous international tasting competitions include the Consumer Choice Award at SIP and 2x “Most Innovative New Whiskey” in London and New York.

Kevin Buckler drove his famous #66 Porsche to legendary victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and Le Mans almost 30 years ago. Today, team driver Derek DeBoer stewards this historic number, adding hardware to the trophy case and carrying on the legacy. This wine celebrates our shared passion for incredible white blends. Kevin, Derek, and winemaker Garrett Martin collaborated to craft this Rhone-inspired blend of Chardonnay, Marsanne, and Viognier.
