Luckenbach Road 3 years Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Luckenbach Road

750 ml | 44% ABV
Whiskey | Bourbon

While the distillery itself is new, the Skloss’s family roots date all the way back here to 1851, when his third great-grandfather, Heinrich “Henry” Ochs, immigrated to Fredericksburg from Germany. Ochs quickly became one of the town’s first teachers, and later a County Clerk and founder of the Buckhorn Saloon in Fredericksburg. The saloon, which served the family’s beer and whiskey recipes, was one of the first in the area - and became a popular watering hole that can be read about in history books today.

The Skloss's have been working for the past five years to deliver a true farm-to-bottle experience at Luckenbach Road Whiskey Distillery. They first began acquiring the land, known locally as the Frantzen and Bill Hamm tracts, in 2017. They established Frontier Spirits LLC that same year.

Seeking the Lone Star State’s promising life and land, our project’s Founder Stewart Lawrence Skloss’s fourth great-grandfather, Heinrich “Henry” Ochs, moved his family from Germany to Gillespie County in 1851 - becoming one of the town’s first teachers, as well as a County Clerk and founder of the Buckhorn Saloon.

Note: He became teacher and clerk, not a teetotaler, and as such, recognized the need for a place to socialize and grab a drink. Henry took it upon himself to establish one of the first distilleries in Gillespie County and saloons in Fredericksburg. Originally called Buckhorn
Whiskey, the family’s personal recipe, made from local harvest of course, was served at the popular local watering hole.

We use the same hand-crafted recipe, known for its tried-and-true taste, Luckenbach Road Whiskey Distillery.

Suave Lunar Rested Silver Tequila

Suave Tequila

750 ml | 40% ABV
Tequila | Silver

The family behind the founder is truly passionate about artisanal tequila; the kind of tequila our ancestors once made and consumed themselves, sip by sip. They knew there was more to tequila than the party drink image that most brands portray today. Therefore, they wanted to pass this knowledge on to their children and motivate them to produce and enjoy only the highest quality tequila possible. A top quality tequila, so true to its roots and pure in every sense of the word. A tequila that could boldly compete with the strongest brands and stand its ground for its authenticity in flavour and body. Hoping to be the smoothest tequila on the market, Suave Premium Tequila was destined to be born.

The young entrepreneur ventured with this project in mind, and met Jaime Villalobos Sauza. Jaime came from one of the oldest tequila families in the industry; Sauza Tequila was founded by its predecessors. However, the brand’s family name was later sold to investors who marketed the product worldwide, thus sacrificing its quality. As a result, Jaime sought to honour his ancestors by developing the highest quality and most natural premium tequila possible. Jaime, in fact, spent several years gaining more experience in the industry as an official tequila catador. Later he became the president of ONSOM: the Organization of Sommeliers of Mexico. This background prompted Jaime to join forces with the young entrepreneur and to produce the most distinctive, organic, kosher-certified, and additive-free sipping tequila the industry has ever known.

Suave Blanco aged in American oak barrels for 28 days (a complete lunar cycle). Suave Lunar gladly closes the gap between a Blanco and a Reposado with a balanced barrel and agave character.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A harmonious tequila with sweet vanilla beans, buttermilk, salted caramel and a fresh aroma of green apples.

Palate: Dominant notes of vanilla with well-rounded hints of barrel toast, light to medium fruity body with mild acidity.

Finish: Soft aftertaste with hints of barrel toast and smoked agave.

Moet and Chandon 2013 Grand Vintage Rose

Moet and Chandon

750 ml | 12.5% ABV
Champagne

Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage champagnes, unlike most champagnes, are made from the grapes of a single exceptional year.

Each Grand Vintage is unique. Each possesses the distinctive, imitable qualities of that year’s outstanding grapes, qualities which have been elevated to their fullest expression through the savoir-faire, experience and expertise of Moët & Chandon and the House’s chef de cave.
Since 1842, the House has released 74 vintage champagnes. Moët & Chandon possesses one of the world’s most prestigious collection of vintage champagnes, all of which are safeguarded in the Grand Vintage Reserve cellars.

BLEND

Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2013 Rosé is thus an unexpectedly complementary expression of a year that is widely known for its Chardonnays. It is 35% Chardonnay – a rather high proportion for a rosé, which typically contains more Pinot Noir. After 7 years in the cellars, it reveals a truly unique character.

TASTING NOTES

Colour tinged with orange

A radiant, light pink hue with hints of orange.

Chiseled, Generous, Spicy fruitness

Generous bouquet

The initial aromas are sweet, tinged with a mixture of wild strawberries, raspberries and pomegranate seeds. It then develops a touch of freshness with hints of blood orange and star fruit. Black pepper, dark chocolate, cinnamon, dried flowers and new leather round off the bouquet.

A SPICY, WELL-DEFINED PALATE

The fleshy attack on the palate confirms the wine’s voluptuous character. The chiselled structure of the Pinot Noir is accompanied by the sensation of crisp stone fruit, such as plums and cherries. The texture is finely powdered and a delicate astringency underscores the long finish, with flashes of pink grapefruit and lime zest.

Glendalough Mizunara Finish 7 years Single Malt Irish Whisky

Glendalough

St Kevin of Glendalough

The story of St Kevin is where we draw our inspiration. He abandoned safety and comfort to follow his passion and create something more meaningful in the mountains. Born of Irish royalty but a man apart, St Kevin disappeared into the mountains and became one with the wild. For 7 years he lived off the land by the upper lake of Glendalough and pondered his place in the world. He would stand and pray, arms outstretched and often up to his waist in the lake, just to add to the challenge. He did this so often and for so long, that one fateful day a blackbird landed in his hand.
He was so at one with nature, she felt safe enough to lay her eggs. This he took as a sign, as a test of his resolve. So he stood day and night until the eggs hatched and the chicks fledged.

One of many stories that spread around Ireland and inspired people to seek out this holy man and his deep, hidden valley. He eventually built his "City of 7 Churches" by the lower lake that still stands 14 centuries later.

Glendalough's Mizunara

Glendalough's Mizunara 7-year single malt is vivid, but delicate with seamless depth. It is vibrant, fruity, and floral on the nose, enjoying a luxuriously smooth mouthfeel with notes of dark chocolate orange, sandalwood and cinnamon synonymous with Mizunara whiskeys. This unique whiskey benefits from an exceptionally long finish of toasted oak and oriental spices, with the dark chocolate lingering even longer.
