Building on a tradition of handcrafted record-breaking, award-winning whiskeys, The Brollach is a whiskey of a lifetime. Born from the bond between a father and his son, it is the culmination of a search for an exceptionally rare whiskey of exquisite flavour, that would honour family, Ireland and Irish whiskey.

AN IRISH HEART

Tumbling down from the Cooley Mountains comes fresh spring water, filtered through limestone, basalt and granite. The finest Irish barley, golden with promise, interplays with the water in an intricate balance of sugar and alcohol, presenting an outstanding quality whiskey.

AN IRISH SOUL

Intricate layers of flavour interweave with one another, just as family and history weave through each of us. Apricot and butterscotch on the nose bring to mind a velvety tarte tatin, while dark cherry adds a sour tang, melting into an intimate, intense dark chocolate. A mellow finish of caramelised banana lingers long after the first sip.

A RARE WHISKEY EXPERIENCE

The heavy grain of the natural oak draws the eye firmly to the stainless steel clasps. As if peeling away the layers of history, another box appears. The precious liquid is held securely in the determined, solid silhouette of the glass bottle that sits on an oak plinth. Finn glasses emerge from dark suede, a steel drawer conceals the anodised silver and glass pipette; perfectly engineered to deliver an optimum droplet of water, releasing the full intricacies of The Brollach’s intense flavours.

INSIDE THE BROLLACH

Inside The Brollach’s raw oak box lies the carefully conceived accompaniments to raise the experience to its peak. Two Finn glasses allow you to raise a glass with a companion, after delivering the perfect drop of water from the anodised silver and glass pipette. The drawer opens to reveal four obsidian whiskey stones, a vial of Irish Spring water and one of The Brollach, allowing you to taste the rare Irish craft whiskey while saving the main bottle as an investment.

REVEL IN BOLD, BALANCED FLAVOR
After distilling the spirit twice in small batches, we remove the heads and tails of the runs (the beginnings and ends of batches) — and the heart of the run is what we bottle.

CELEBRATE CHANGE
Our tequila’s color-changing magic comes from the infusion of all-natural butterfly pea flower. The flowers have a delicate sensitivity to pH and will react to acidity, transforming from brilliant cobalt blue to deep violet to soft pink shades.

LUXURY, DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL
After departing Jalisco, our color-changing tequila makes a stop at Cedar River Watershed, just east of Seattle, Washington in the snowy Cascade Mountain foothills. Here, it’s infused with crisp, purified mountain water that’s famous for being some of the softest water in the country.

Our tequila has a soft floral aroma, vibrant agave, and sweet citrus flavor profile, a pleasant finish — and pours cobalt blue in color.

The result is an unforgettable tequila and a truly unique drinking experience.

STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY FINISHED IN AMBURANA CASKS

When Brazil comes to mind we often think of the amazon rainforest, legendary football tournaments, white sand beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see - this exotic finish is exactly that! 

A bountiful expression of butter cream, vanilla, and cinnamon notes will fill the room, transporting you to memories of fresh baked snicker-doodles coming out of the oven. Bossa Nova is a genre of Brazilian music inspired by samba and jazz and literally translates to "new wave." But the word "bossa" is also an old Brazilian slang word meaning something done with particular charm. We feel this "new charm" (Bossa Nova) was a fitting name for this bourbon whiskey finished in Brazilian amburana wood.

Since Master Blender John Rhea took the reins at Kentucky Owl in 2021, the brand has been on a mission to prove itself. Under Rhea's leadership, Kentucky Owl has introduced new expressions and a range of limited edition offerings. However, the heart and soul of the brand remains their core bourbon, now represented by Batch #12.

For Batch #12, Rhea expertly combines 7-to-14-year-old bourbons with two distinct four-year-old bourbons. While concerns may arise about the younger spirits overshadowing the older ones, once the bottle is opened, those worries dissipate.

As the bourbon cascades into the glass, a captivating medley of aromas fills the air—sweet cornbread, nutmeg, brown sugar, and a subtle nuttiness. Soon, notes of figs and orange blossom join the ensemble, accompanied by hints of wet newspaper and lipstick. On the palate, flavors of cornbread, butterscotch, and baking spice emerge, along with a tantalizing hint of strawberry licorice reminiscent of Twizzlers candy. This fleeting sensation teases the tongue before giving way to the aforementioned robust flavors.

Despite the initial promise of the aroma, the mouthfeel remains moderate, and the midpalate seems somewhat muted, preventing the well-developed flavors from fully reaching their potential.

The Heaven’s Door Decade Series is a collection of limited-edition whiskeys, each featuring a 10-year-old aged expression. These whiskeys are highly sought after by collectors and enthusiasts alike, with each release showcasing the brand’s commitment to bringing new, innovative expressions to market.

The Decade 2 expression is the second release in the Decade Series. This 10-year-old rye whiskey is bottled at 100 proof and features a mash bill of 95% rye and 5% barley. With its high rye content, this whiskey offers bold and spicy flavors complemented by subtle notes of vanilla and caramel from the oak barrel. This expression is an excellent example of a well-aged rye whiskey; its 100-proof bottling provides a satisfying warmth and depth of flavor.

Appearance: The whiskey has a deep amber color with a golden hue. The liquid appears viscous and has long legs when swirled in a glass.

AGE: 10 Years

NOSE: The nose opens up with strong aromas of rye bread and baking spices, such as cinnamon and nutmeg. There are also hints of dried fruits, particularly raisins and dates, as well as a subtle sweetness of vanilla and caramel from the oak barrel.

PALATE: On the palate, the whiskey is bold and assertive, with a spicy kick of black pepper and cloves followed by notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and toasted oak. The mouthfeel is rich and full-bodied, with a slight oiliness and a pleasant warmth from the high alcohol content.

Blanc De Blancs Brut has a delicate yet persistent mousse highlights soft floral notes on the nose with a hint of almonds and fresh hazelnuts. Superb structure and length on the palate introduce white fruits in perfect balance with a particularly pleasing minerality and undertones of brioche/yeastiness.

Terroir: Easterly aspect, topsoils are thin and the Chardonnay finds root in chalk at a lesser depth than elsewhere. Noted for it's minerality.
