The Bushmills Private Reserve Collection is a new series of small batch single malts hand selected with unique cask finishes, born from the original Irish single malt tradition that Bushmills pioneered.

This 10 Year Old single malt Irish whiskey is first matured in carefully selected bourbon barrels and oloroso sherry casks for 6 years before finishing for a minimum of 4 years in Grand Cru Burgundy casks from Côte d’Or.

TASTING NOTES
While the bourbon casks impart rich hints of vanilla and oak, the sherry casks infuse the whiskey with notes of dried fruits and spice, and the burgundy casks provide an additional layer of robustness, resulting in a distinct full-bodied whiskey.

El Jolgorio Tepeztate Mezcal is a premium spirit crafted by skilled artisans in Oaxaca, Mexico, showcasing the distinctive flavors of the Tepeztate agave. Using traditional methods, ripe agaves are roasted, fermented, and distilled to produce a mezcal with herbal, mineral, and subtly sweet notes. Best enjoyed neat, it offers a complex and nuanced drinking experience that reflects Mexico's rich cultural heritage.

El Jolgorio Pechuga Mezcal is a revered Mexican spirit known for its traditional production methods and unique flavor profile. Crafted by skilled maestros mezcaleros in Oaxaca, it undergoes a special distillation process where raw turkey or chicken breast, along with fruits, nuts, and spices, is added to the still. This infusion gives the mezcal a savory complexity that balances its smoky and earthy notes. Each batch is handmade and bottled with care, offering a memorable drinking experience whether enjoyed neat or in cocktails.

Situated just south of Volnay and Pommard in the Côte de Beaune, Meursault is the most extensive southerly white wine commune of the Côte-d'Or. The perfect south-easterly exposure and the stony, marl soil contribute greatly to the remarkable finesse of which the wines of Meursault are capable. Typical Meursault tend to be very full, mellow wines and mature somewhat sooner than the wines from the neighbouring communes of Puligny and Chassagne.

Vinification & Ageing 

Fermentation: Traditional in oak barrels with complete malolactic fermentation.

Ageing: 8 to 10 months ageing in oak barrels, 15% new.

Barrels: Louis Latour cooperage, French oak, medium toasted.

Tasting Note
Our Meursault Blanc 2020 has a nice pale gold hue. On the nose, it reveals aromas of yellow fruits accompanied by vanilla notes. Nice roundness in the mouth with notes of fresh almond. The finish is balanced by melted wood and a beautiful minerality.

Mash Bill: 84% corn, 8% rye, 8% malted barley

The name Guero is very near and dear to Dave Phinney’s heart. It was the nickname given to him at his first harvest job where he was the only white guy on an all Mexican crew. It translates to “light-skinned”, and the days and nights of working in the winery as part of a temporary harvest team with this skilled crew remain some of Dave’s fondest memories.

Wild Common tequila reposado is lightly aged in used American bourbon barrels. This resting process yields notes of cooked agave, fresh roasted pecans, and raw honey. Building off the incredible foundation of the tequila blanco, master distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo - aka “Chava”, has shown finesse and mastery in balancing these complex aromas and flavors.

Springbank Distillery's 11 Year Old Campbeltown Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a hallmark of Scotland's whisky heritage. TASTING NOTES 

Nose: Cherry sawdust, warm pine pitch and marsh grass. A nose that is light and sunny. Closer to warm lakeside days than cold forest nights. The aroma hits with high summer energy and optimism making it unique compared to other McCarthys expressions.

Palate: Light and juicy with a good deal of burned sugar and citrus. Back flavors of salt brine and sea spray make this the whiskey version of camping on the Oregon coast. To others it’s as comforting as early morning diners and French toast with coffee. The addition of an ice cube exposes the whiskey’s sweeter tones. With a baseline of sarsaparilla root and chicory, the higher tones of toasted cereal grain, orange peel and maple syrup definitely shine.

Our first whisk(e)y is a Four-Grain Blended American Whisk(e)y, crafted in Louisville, KY by Master Blender Ashley Barnes. Made from three different whiskies with four mashbills, the nose starts with baking spiced orange creamsicle and leads to apricot jam spread over warm cinnamon toast. Brown butter, root beer, and toasted marshmallow are complimented with a challah toast finish.

Tasting Notes: Toffee, butterscotch, orange zest, smokey oak, spices, sublet root beer and stewed cherries are call-outs.

Appearance: Mahogany... deep, dark, intriguing. Medium char after-effects, artisanal perfection.

Palate: Silky, viscous mouth feel, roasted almonds, candied citrus peel. Cinnamon and caramel lead to a well-balanced flavor profile. Crushed toffee and subtle mint finish.

Nose: Sweet maple, with vanilla and caramel undertones.

Finish: Medium finish with a peppery rye spice on the side palate.

At The Clydeside, we don’t want our whisky (nor our customers) boxed in by stereotypes or clichés. With our annual Limited Edition release, The Clydeside hopes to shed a new light on Lowland whisky: highlighting its many beauties, while showcasing its manifold virtues and re-examining its presentation.

The first Clydeside Limited Edition release is a cask strength expression bottled at 60.6% vol., bolstering the intensity of the generally softer Lowland style, while exemplifying its finest attributes. Orange marmalade and fruity malt aromas linger on the nose. The sweetness of the malt marries seamlessly with oak influence from the ex-Bourbon casks the whisky was matured in. The spices and vanilla explode on the finish as the higher proof finally announces itself.

TASTING NOTES

This Clydeside Single Malt is produced using clear water from Loch Katrine, 100% Scottish barley and then matured in the finest Oak casks.

Nose: Bursting with sweet aromas of ripe tropical fruit and vanilla pastries.

Palate: Peach and plum, and a surge of tart citrus on the finish.

Matured in the finest American first fill Bourbon barrels.
