A 6 month accelerated-aged Kentucky Bourbon.

WBW has a unique flavor with a light front end of Cabernet berries with a smooth bourbon middle and a long-lasting Carmel finish on the back of the mouth.

The mash was made in Kentucky, then sent in barrels to a manufacturer to accelerate the aging process by using ultrasonic waves (more Bourbon to stave contact). The Bourbon was then finished at our San Diego distillery in French Oak Cabernet wine barrels used to make Charles Woodson's Napa Valley wine.

In 2019, we started dressing The Peat Monster in a new label. The design stems from our 10th anniversary limited release, and when we evolved the recipe, we couldn’t resist reprising this design from Marc Burckhardt to accompany it. All batches of The Peat Monster released since 2019 now feature this specially-commissioned artwork.

Still very much the whisky for those who love big, rich, smoky-peaty malts, our latest version of THE PEAT MONSTER is older and more elegant than before.

Inspired by feedback from smoky whisky lovers, our new Painting Label of THE PEAT MONSTER incorporates single malts with a more aromatic and graceful style of smokiness. We have sought to retain the peaty intensity for which THE PEAT MONSTER has long been celebrated, whilst creating a depth and elegance not seen before.

New batches of THE PEAT MONSTER boast a spectrum of powerful coastal flavours, combining the smokiness of a driftwood fire with more medicinal peat notes. Orchard fruits and rich cask-derived creaminess balance the multi-layered smoke. It is a new peaty landscape, as the Painting Label shows.

The evolution is a subtle one. We hope you will hunt down both labels and enjoy teasing out the contrasts.

About the Brand

INSPIRED BY BOURBON'S HISTORY
The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. You get that sense of history. The history of bourbon is the history of Kentucky, is the history of the United States.

GRAIN RECIPE
Woodford Reserve is crafted from a grain recipe of 72% corn, 18% Rye, and 10% malted barley. This recipe balances the sweetness of corn with the spice of rye, and the nuttiness of malt to build the base for the world’s most flavorful bourbon.
WATER SOURCE
The water we use to craft Woodford Reserve comes directly from the distillery. It is naturally filtered by the limestone deposits under our property. Iron-free and mineral rich, it is a crucial ingredient in process.
FERMENTATION
Our fermentation process is among the longest in the industry. This extra time, paired with our unique yeast strain, creates a great depth of character and a complex range of flavors.
DISTILLATION
The perfectly balanced flavor of Woodford Reserve comes from a careful batching process of whiskey distilled in pot stills and whiskey distilled in column stills. No other whiskey can boast such a flavor combination.

Woodford Reserve Derby

Woodford Reserve, the Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, is honoring “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” with the release of its 2022 commemorative Derby bottle.

This year’s bottle features the artwork of Kentucky native Jaime Corum, an equine artist known for her stunning horse portraits. Corum’s painting, titled “Dreams in Bloom,” features three thoroughbreds racing neck-and-neck, surrounded by a spray of vivid spring flowers, including the iconic red roses of Derby.

Made with soft spring water, bicarbonate of soda and a high level of carbonation. Specifically crafted with the perfect level of bubbles and a delicate aroma to complement and enhance the flavors of the finest spirits. Naturally sourced ingredients. 

TASTE
Our Club Soda has a silky smooth texture created by using the finest spring water (which has a low mineral content) and a high level of carbonation; it has no aroma so it can more effectively bring to life the flavours of the premium spirit it's being mixed with. 

KEY INGREDIENTS
Our Club Soda is our simplest product. After our natural spring water is carbonated with lots of very fine bubbles, we add Bicarbonate of Soda, which is used to add a minerality that enhances naturally occuring flavours in the spirits it's paired with.

KEY INGREDIENTS
The story of Fever-Tree is one of a pursuit for the best. San Francisco World Spirits Competition Design 2021 - Bronze

Yoichi Single Malt is a range of single malt expressions from the Yoichi Distillery, Nikka's first distillery built in 1934. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose the town of Yoichi in Hokkaido because of the similar environmental conditions to Scotland, where he learned whisky-making. Yoichi malts are described as bold and strong with refined peaty notes and smokiness brought by the traditional direct coal-fired distillation. Sea breeze from the Ishikari Bay delivers a briny hint to the whisky during maturation.

Vermouth di Torino G.I. Extra Dry offers the palate a pleasant fresh Mediterranean maquis with gentle spiciness and a warm wood aftertaste. Notes of aromatic herbs evoke the rich heritage of Piedmont, where Cinzano was born in 1757, celebrating the elegance and diversity of the Italian tradition.

Tasting Notes

1757 Vermouth di Torino G.I. Extra Dry unleashes on the palate a wonderfully Mediterranean bushland scent, reminiscent of cloves hints followed by a mineral wormwood finale.

Color: Pale crystal yellow with greenish reflections.

Nose: Delicate Mediterranean herbs (mint, sage, oregano, thyme) and floral notes rounded by a spiced finish and reminiscences of cloves.

Taste: Fresh, dry and mouth-warming. On the palate, wine notes accompany the Mediterranean herb bouquet. Long and pleasantly bitter finish with wormwood final bitterness.

Salted caramel notes with a bright, fresh finish, this sake has 25% less alcohol and calories than classic sakes without compromising on taste. This technical challenge was masterfully solved by Regis Camus and the toji of the family-owned Konishi brewery in the Hyogo prefecture. The result is a 12% abv sulphite-free alternative to rose and white wine perfectly suited for relaxed afternoons or business lunches, pairing well with anything from a light snack to your favourite risotto.
