Old Carter is the passion project of “flavor chaser” partners Mark Carter and Sherri Carter, whose beverage industry roots trace back to award-winning careers in the California wine business. After resurrecting the long-dormant bourbon brand Kentucky Owl in 2011, the two were irreversibly hooked on the art of whiskey making and blending. Kentucky Owl sold unexpectedly in 2017, but by then Sherri & Mark were so enamored with the vibrant spirit of Kentucky’s whiskey community, they made a commitment to carry on their love affair with whiskey by making a statement of their own, right in the Bluegrass. And Old Carter Whiskey Co was born.

Headquartered in Louisville, the Old Carter team produces Straight Ryes, Bourbons and American Whiskies in locations throughout Kentucky. Each bottle is personally crafted by Mark and Sherri, who create every blend and select every single barrel program release together.

1800 Tequila is the official tequila of the Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers. In 2020, 1800 Tequila announced that it would be the brand's first professional football team partnership.

The 1800 Silver LA Rams Edition tequila is a 750 ml bottle with a silver design and the Rams logo on the front. It has a smooth taste and is made from 100% Weber blue agave. The tequila is aged for 8-12 years and double distilled.

Many moons ago, the ancient gods pitied humans for they had fare and wealth, but nothing to warm their hearts. By decree of Mayahuel, the Aztec goddess of agaves, the gods bestowed mortals the privilege of experiencing the pleasures of her plant's sweetest nectar. Mayahuel’s magical succulent from the highlands of Mexico has since provided humanity with an instant connection to Mother Earth and the most important joys of life.

TASTE

Our Blue Weber mezcal brings a sweet and mellow flavor that complements the robust earthy notes of roasted agave from our more traditional blend of Espadín mezcal from Oaxaca. This blend is the perfect introduction to mezcal: smooth and unique to have by itself but also perfect for a fresh cocktail.

Handcrafted in the village of San Dionisio Ocotepec, Fuego Y Humo's wild tepeztate has sweet herbal notes on the nose with distinctive green, fresh, and earthy aromatics common to most marmoratas.

On the palate, it will awaken your taste buds with pops of spearmint, jalapeño, green peppers, vanilla ice cream, and cucumber. In a blind tasting, you'll definitely identify this one out of the group.

Overall, sweeter and more rounded than a tepeztate's typical sharp, more defined flavors, this one carries José's signature lactic and creamy taste throughout.

Sweet aromas of caramel and cream as well as spice with soft smoke.  These sweet and soft notes carry through the full taste while welcoming a subtle minerality. Hints of berries, caramel, orange zest, and cream soda delight the palate.

Subtle smoke, sweet, and very balanced for easy sipping at 47% ABV.

Espadín (Agave angustifolia)
Maturation: 8-10 Years
Cultivated locally in San Dionisio Ocotepec
Rested for 3 months before bottling

A fresh, all natural mix made with 100% real Florida lime juice and organic agave nectar from Jalisco, Mexico. The perfect balance of sweet & sour flavors

INGREDIENTS: Filtered Water, Fresh Lime Juice, Organic Blue Agave Nectar, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C).

Appearance: Amazing clarity with a light reflecting brilliance.

Aroma: Initially slightly sweet, the aroma settles beautifully into hints of slate and rainwater.

Palate: Nicely dry up front with an essence of grain. An amazing creaminess with a velvety texture and a depth on the mid-palate. Finish is long with corn sweetness.

Dark opaque scarlet in the glass with rich aromas of bourbon cherry, nutmeg, wet tobacco and plum. This is an elegantly rich, full-bodied wine with grippy, yet moderate tannins. Flavors on the palate showcase dark cherry, fresh red fruits, licorice & ripe prunes. The tannins become more prominent with time to breath in the glass making this a great wine for lamb burgers, onion jam with prosciutto and roasted red pepper dishes.

Product Discovery

Maker Notes

Begun in 1996, Broadbent Madeira was inspired by Bartholomew Broadbent’s father, Michael Broadbent, who called Madeira his “desert island wine,” and who played a crucial role in sourcing the wines and establishing the blends. Bartholomew Broadbent, who spent more than a decade reintroducing Madeira to the U.S. market, was determined to create a line of Madeiras to compete with the best in the world.

HARVEST & VINTAGE NOTES
Sercial is the driest of the four white noble varieties of the island. Just like our Colheitas and our Single Casks, each 10 year madeira is made the old fashioned way - the Canteiro method. Canteiro is a named derived from the support beams on the ceiling of the winery. Warm air rises so Canteiro method wines are cooked by ambient temperature, naturally. Tangy fruit, roasted nuts, minerality.

Fundador Supremo 18 was named the Best Brandy in the World 2019 at the IWSC Awards. The world’s expert tasters gave us the highest award in the competition, among the more than 100 brandies submitted. This Solera Gran Reserva has aged in casks that have contained 18-year-old Oloroso Sherry, which gives this brandy the category of Ultra Premium.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Intense amber with a golden rim, luminous and bright. Its notes of wood stand out, providing an elegant and persistent finish.

AROMA: Warm, round, with notes of nuts and toasted nuances. Complex and structured.

TASTE: Smooth, powerful with very persistent notes of vanilla, walnuts and nuts. Harmonious, vinous and rounded, with very complex nuances due to its long evolution in wood seasoned with very old Olorosos.

FINISH: Aftertaste with notes of wood that provide an elegant and persistent finish.
