Wolves Signature Blend Rye and Hop Flavored Whisky is a unique creation from Wolves Craft Distillery, combining the boldness of rye whisky with the aromatic notes of hops. In 1872, a merchant named Louis-Napoléon Mattei named his aperitif wine after his native Cap Corse, a peninsula of Corsica that juts northward into the Mediterranean. A territory of France, Corsica has over the centuries been influenced by both France and Italy, as well as northern Africa. Mattei discovered the beneficial properties of cinchona tree bark during a voyage to the Caribbean, and he brought it to Cap Corse to blend with local wine made from Muscat and Vermentinu grapes. He added spices that made their way through Cap Corse’s bustling port, as well as Cedrat (citron), a thick-peeled ancestor of lemon. Cap Corse Mattei Quinquina was soon exported across the globe.

A true Quinquina Blanc, and unique among aperitif wines. The profile of the Cap Corse Mattei BLANC aperitif wine is defined by its distinctly Corsican components. Its all-mistelle base is of Vermentinu and Muscat Petit Grains, lending a terrific minerality, acidity and floral tones. The local Cedrat (aka citron) adds unique citrus aroma and a silky texture. Since its creation in 1872 by Louis-Napoléon Mattei, Cap Corse Mattei is the oldest and best known aperitif of Corsica. Still today family owned, and all macerations, aging and bottling are done in house.

As a quinquina, Cap Corse Mattei BLANC is flavored with cinchona bark (quinine), which adds spice and depth in the mid and back palate. Fantastic on ice with tonic or soda, and even more so with a pour of gin or an agave spirit.

Derrumbes Durango is produced in the remote village of Nombre de Dios in the northern Mexican state. It is a varietal made exclusively of Durango’s endemic agave Durangensis and it represents yet another expression from the Derrumbes family distilled in unique wood and copper stills, this one however, has a neck for external condensation. Maestro mezcalero Uriel Simental delivers this exciting balance of summer fruit, nuts and dry minerality that finishes seamlessly with a beautiful light smokiness.

Palate: Sweetly glazed BBQ meat and smoked beef jerky, with some oak and vanilla. The addition of water opens peppery and briny notes, followed by blackberry and apple pie.

This rich, deep, and opulent barrel-aged rum bears an extraordinary age statement backed up by craft pedigree and unrivaled complexity. Hailing from two singular distilleries, BHAKTA 1990 Jamaican Rum blends 1985 25 Year Jamaican column still rum from Clarendon/Monymusk (CHP) with 1990 23 Year Jamaican pot still rum from Appleton Estates (APEL). Fortuitously coupled in 2014, this exquisite blend of column- and pot-stilled rum enjoyed a further three years aging in second-fill MGP bourbon and rye barrels before earning its signature cask finish.

Our Discovery Series has quickly gained a reputation for showcasing exquisite, innovative blends. Series #9 takes the spirit of discovery further by uncovering rare barrels of craft Georgia bourbon with a unique, elegant flavor. The blend is structured around this distinctive profile, adding classic Kentucky bourbon, 17-yr. Tennessee Whiskey, and a touch of sweetness from Canada. It is a combination of tradition and forward-thinking, large-scale and craft. The elements fold into one another remarkably, creating a robust, vibrant, one-of-a-kind pour.
