BCS Gray Label Seagrass is born from 16-year-old Canadian Rye barrels, divided into two distinct profiles – one with citrus and green apple notes, the other with spearmint. Some from each group undergo unique finishes in Apricot Brandy, Martinique rhum, and Malmsey Madeira casks. The final blend marries these flavors when they peak during secondary maturation. This deeply mature rye whiskey boasts a classic grassy aroma with fresh Rhum Agricole notes. On the palate, the oily rye meets nutty madeira character and apricot brandy brightness, concluding with maritime minerality.

Appearance: Rich golden straw.

Nose: Rye spices, toast, and Rhum Agricole's grassy notes, with oak expressions of tobacco and coffee.

Palate: Extremely oily with peanut, coconut, and tea tree oils, evolving into creaminess with soy milk. Notes of lemonade and sunflower seeds nod to the madeira barrels.

Finish: Apricot brandy casks bring passionfruit and plum, while minerality combines with chalk dust, flint, paraffin, and cedar smoke.

Treaty Oak Distillery is named after the famous 500-year old tree in Austin, under which Stephen F. Austin signed agreements defining the borders of Texas.Their ginsare called Waterloo, after the original name of Austin. They moved to Dripping Springs, a place with a rich history of gatherings and shared perspectives. All of their Char 3 barrels are sourced from Kelvin Cooperage in Louisville, Kentucky. One of the defining points of their process is that they toast the barrel before they char creating a better caramelization of the oak. Central Texas has a very different climate than Kentucky and other areas producing bourbon. The wide swings of temperature and humidity allow for a maturation that is specific to the weather of the hill country.Their non climate controlled rickhouse was designed to showcase the dynamic climate. Named after their 28-acre ranch home in Dripping Springs, Texas, Ghost Hill Bourbon is a unique whiskey made with local heirloom grains from Barton Springs Mill. A genuine grain to glass bourbon, it is mashed, fermented, distilled, barreled, aged 2 years and bottled on-site at our Treaty Oak Distillery. Ghost Hill is a Bourbon born of years of purposeful experimentation.

The Arran 18 Year-Old is a wonderfully balanced expression of the Arran Malt. Caramelized citrus and tropical notes on a background of toasted oak have created an intense, well rounded dram with charm and personality.

The Arran Single Malts, aged 10, 14, and 18 years, display all the bright characteristics you would expect from an island distillery, with a rich rewarding layer of fruit. Double-distilled from un-peated malt and bottled at 46%, the Arran Single Malt is matured in both ex-Sherry and ex-Bourbon casks for perfect balance. During the early 19th century, illegal distilleries were commonplace throughout the Speyside region of Scotland. In 1823, however, Alexander Gordon pushed the Excise Act of 1823 through Parliament. The Excise Act allowed illegal distillers throughout Scotland to apply for and obtain licenses to legally distill spirits. In 1824, a businessman named George Smith applied for one of the first licenses in the Speyside region of Scotland and opened the doors to The Glenlivet Distillery. For nearly two centuries, The Glenlivet Distillery has been producing the "single malt whisky that started it all." The Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whisky is made using barley sourced from Crisp Maltings, Portgordon (Portgordon is a village in Moray, Scotland). After the barley has been malted and mashed, it is fermented in wooden washbacks for approximately two days. The wooden washbacks used by The Glenlivet are more difficult and expensive to maintain as compared to the stainless steel washbacks used by most Scottish distilleries, but impart a distinctive, floral quality to the whisky. After the barley has been fermented, it is distilled twice first through Glenlivet's wash still, and then again through Glenlivet's spirits still. Originally designed by George Smith, the copper-pot stills have a unique, lantern-like shape, which encourages contact between the whisky and the copper (the copper strips the whisky of any impurities it may have, and provides for a lighter and more pure flavor profile). In addition, the height of the stills ensures only the lightest vapors are condensed, and makes for a more delicate and elegant whisky. Recently, folks at The Glenlivet have been experimenting with mysterious releases without tasting notes and cask information. Spectra is one such limited-edition box set that contains a selection of 3 distinct 200ml single malt bottles. The first hints at a fruity expression, the second promises a smoky and briny experience, and the last holds a creamy sweetness. Each expression showcases The Glenlivet's signature style and presents a tasting challenge in the form of a digital experience a journey that starts by scanning the provided QR code. After completing the guided digital tour and receiving a grade based on your performance, you get to compare your findings with the thoughts of Master Blender and Distiller Alan Winchester.

Rabbit Hole Distilling, founded by Kaveh Zamanian, produces a beautiful range of award-winning spirits. Their bespoke 24 ft Vendome Copper & Brass still was custom-built only a few blocks from their distillery and their bourbon and rye whiskeys are 100% Kentucky made, crafted to create a unique drinking experience. They produced their first barrel from their very own mix of carefully selected grains, which are mashed and fermented at ideal temperatures to preserve certain precise flavors and aromas, before being distilled without compromise. "My heart and soul go into every single drop of liquid I create, and all of it is precious to me. Yet among the vast number of barrels I laid down when I began Rabbit Hole, years later I discovered a few exceptional barrels whose rye had a nearly transcendent quality. Those are the barrels I harvested for the launch of Founder's Collection and this is the Kentucky rye whiskey that Ive created for my first cask-strength offering," says Zamanian. The release comes in an exquisite gift box with an embossed signature of the founder as well as the bottle number on a ribbon label. The cork features his family crest with the family motto "Amare et Opus" (Love and Work) inscribed. A total of 1,315 bottles of this luxurious expression are available.

Ex-red wine casks that were sourced from Israel’s finest wineries were picked for this part of the Elements series. The Mediterranean’s climate, variety of soil types, hot sunny days, and cool nights bring a spicy and unique flavor to Israeli wine – and in turn, our casks. The wine barrels used in the Elements Red Wine are a celebration of local terroir, curating a floral single malt with notes of dark chocolate.

Maker Notes

Each hand-bottled batch of Pierside Bourbon is distilled with a classic high rye mash bill for complexity and a hint of sweet corn and barley. We age Pierside Bourbon in new American Oak barrels and allow them to breathe in the fresh and salty air of Huntington Beach.

Embarking on a 56-day journey of harvesting and processing maple water, skilled artisans dedicated themselves to meticulously crafting an exceptionally pure maple syrup, a pivotal element in this distinctive formula. Through expert distillation and careful preparation, a velvety flavored whisky emerged, showcasing discernible oak nuances and a subtle touch of maple sweetness. This meticulously crafted spirit, characterized by timeless artistry, is tailored for those with a refined and discerning palate.

Each year as part of the Parker's Heritage Collection, we select a special whiskey to be released in the name of our late Master Distiller Parker Beam. The barrels selected for this series include Bourbon, Rye, and Wheat Whiskeys, among others, and are some of the finest and most diverse American Whiskeys ever produced. They are a fitting tribute to the expertise of Parker Beam.The 14th edition of Parker's Heritage Collection features Heaven Hill’s traditional rye Bourbon mashbill, aged in specialty barrels that were charred for a full minute and a half, as opposed to our traditional 40 seconds. These "Level 5" barrels were aged for a full 10 years, where the heavier char allowed the Bourbon to penetrate further into the barrel, bringing forth caramel and maple sweetness. These 102 barrels were aged on the sixth floor of rickhouse Y, and developed a pleasant smokiness after 40 Kentucky seasons of maturation. It is bottled without chill filtration at 120 proof.
