LIMITED EDITION CASTAWAY SERIES BARREL AGED RUM

Our limited edition anniversary rum is distilled from cane sugar and molasses and masterfully blended using woods from around the world including Mongolian, French, and Brazilian. The time spent in these cask leads to additional depth of flavor and character.

Subtle hints of vanilla, oak, and caramel which are extracted over time from the wood of the traditional American Oak Barrel. The additional woods yield unique tasting notes like toasted sugar, allspice, nutmeg, and sweet tobacco. This magical combination produces a lighter, more refined spirit.

Chicken Cock Whiskey's newest limited release Chanticleer is fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon finished in premium French Cognac Barrels. Limited to only 32 barrels, Chanticleer celebrates the long time French-American friendship dating back to the 1700s and to Paris, Kentucky where Chicken Cock was founded in 1856. With vibrant notes of ripened peaches and delicate sweet cream the flavor bursts of vanilla and cherry with compliments of softened plums and candied dates. This is the second edition in a collectible series of limited holiday releases.

Spicy and luxurious

The mature, deep, spicy one: a deeper Sherry influence adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin character.

Tequila Mandala was founded on November 16, 2016 by Jose Joel Garcia Barreto, Arturo Lomeli Ibarra and Humberto Ibarra. The founders had the specific idea of bringing a unique, premium sipping tequila to the U.S. spirit market. Tequila Mandala’s hallmark, the Extra Añejo, comes in a hand-crafted, hand-painted ceramic bottle. The “MANDALA” is a powerful representational symbol that has had significance in most all regions of the world for thousands of years. It transcends borders, religions and cultures; it is essential to all humanity; its essence is both broad and powerful, derived from a circle to convey life’s infinite potential, with no beginning and no end. The mandala symbol portrays the universal balance of joy, peace, and life itself.

Born and bred in Kentucky, Ezra Brooks has been filling glasses with genuine American bourbon since 1957. In 2018, it found a new home in Bardstown, aka the Bourbon Capital of the World. Ezra Brooks 99 Proof bottled at an elevated 99 proof for an enhanced flavor profile, this pure, oak-barrel-aged Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is charcoal filtered for a smooth, mellow finish and features a spicy, ryed bourbon mash bill.

INGREDIENTS: Corn, rye, and barley

Caymus has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe tannins, as approachable in youth as in maturity. Since its founding in 1972, Caymus has become renowned as a consistent leader in the production of Napa Valley Cabernet. Grapes for this wine are farmed in a range of Napa’s sub-appellations – from Coombsville to Calistoga – with fruit from the valley floor creating lushness and the hillsides providing backbone. Diversification enables us to make the best possible wine in a given year, featuring layered, lush aromas and flavors, including cocoa, cassis and ripe berries.

WEALTH AND AUTHENTICITY

The rich and intense style of Jamaica and Barbados, with their notes of plum, banana and vanilla, is enhanced by meticulous blending and further maturation, in France.

The result is a profound structure spiced with notes of cinnamon and clove, whose smoky quality adds texture.

TASTING NOTES

Nose : Hints of black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, baked cherry, prune, molasses; later sniffs encounter forest, leaves, black tea, dry stone.

Palate : Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage. Ends spicy.

Ultramarine is inspired by an iconic deluxe blended Scotch, in particular the first bottlings of the late 1980s and early 1990s. Harnessing old school Sherry
casks and ethereal peatiness, Ultramarine highlights the enchanting possibilities, and the breadth of flavours and textures, afforded by combinations of aged malt and grain whiskies.

Powerfully flavoursome and impressively textural, the first release in the Extinct Blends Quartet relies on mature malts from the Caol Ila and Glendullan distilleries; aged grains from the Cameronbridge and Girvan distilleries, as well as a medley of pre-blended stocks.

Bottles of Scotch whisky are time capsules. Even more than single malts, blends can reflect the production methods and philosophies that prevailed in Scotland during specific eras. Scotch is constantly evolving, and blends aggregate these trends and adaptations.

Fashions change, and formulae follow suit. Blended whiskies of the 1970s, '80s and '90s are very different to today’s versions, even when the brand name remains the same. The Extinct Blends Quartet reimagines four of our favourite blended Scotches from yesteryear, using some of our rarest and most idiosyncratic stocks of whisky.

FLAVOUR PROFILE

Toffee, antique polished oak and complex peatiness are primary aromas, with a palate of roasted pecan, raisins and smoke.

Like the forests along Okinawa’s shores, Hayashi 24 is an expression of the land it comes from. Crafted with indica rice and bourbon casks, Hayashi transforms a 500-year-old awamori tradition into a radiant 24-year-old whisky.

About the Brand

The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. Founded in 2008, the Breckenridge Distillery is most widely known for its blended bourbon whiskey, a high-rye mash American-style whiskey. Breckenridge Bourbon is one of the most highly awarded crafted bourbons; 4x winner of Best American Blended (2016, 17, 18, and 2019) from the World Whiskies Awards and Bourbon of the Year in 2011 at the Int’l Wine & Spirits Competition, and 2019 Colorado Distillery of the Year at the New York Int’l Spirits Competition. Meaning “aged” or “vintage”, is tequila that has been rested in small oak barrels for more than 1 year. Naked Diablo’s Añejo is aged to perfection in smaller batches for a minimum of 16 months in 10 year old Bourbon oak barrels. Rich, distinctive, and wonderfully smooth, this light amber tequila is full-bodied and strikes the perfect balance between bourbon, honey drizzle, peppercorn, toffee, agave, wood, and hints of vanilla. It is best experienced neat or simply on the rocks.

OBTAINIUM is exactly what the name implies. We “obtain” barrels from distilleries all over the world. Including the US, Europe, Canada, and The Caribbean. We source these spirits of varying types, light whiskey, rye, bourbon, etc. to create our own blends and products. These products are bottled at either barrel strength or blended to create our signature flavors. That being said, all of our creations, whether it’s a single barrel bottling or one of our blended products, will be unique either to that particular barrel or batch. No two will ever be “exactly” the same. We strive to ensure flavor consistency
throughout every batch of our blends to give our fans confidence and the comfort of familiarity. That paired with slight variances in each batch, brings a sense of anticipation for the next batch.

OBTAINIUM Light Whiskey came into existence in 1968 because consumers were moving away from Bourbon and more into clear spirits such as vodka or gin. Light whiskey is distilled between160-190 proof. Contrast that with Bourbon or American Rye which tops out at 160 proof. It must be aged in used, charred oak barrels or new, uncharred oak. Most distilleries didn’t let it age very long. Sourced from MGP in Indiana.

Avuá Oak Cachaça, following Brazilian tradition, is aged for up to 2 years in French Oak, or carvalho, previously used to age white wine. Carvalho, the most common wood used for cachaça-aging in Brazil, imparts notes of vanilla and butterscotch. Oak-aged cachaça finishes dry with a slight bitterness that has many layers for an exquisite sipping spirit. It is also the perfect base for stirred cocktails and tropical cocktails like the Mai Tai or Planter's Punch.

Bird Dog Blackberry Flavored Whiskey is crafted by infusing two hand selected, all-natural blackberry flavors. The distinctive taste was nationally recognized during the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
