Tasting Notes

Nose: Remarkable aroma spanning fresh tropical fruits, nuts and rich dried fruit.

Taste: Soft vanilla, toasted oak, sherry nuttiness with a dusting of spices. Luscious fleshy fruit notes complete the silky mouthfeel.

Finish: Lingers, seemingly forever, with oak and an assortment of spices and then, the final bow from barley – where it all began.

Vago Pechuga by Emigdio Jarquin Mezcal is a distinctive expression crafted with traditional techniques and a unique twist. Infused with flavors of ripe fruit and subtle smokiness, this mezcal is triple distilled with a traditional poultry breast ("pechuga"), imparting a one-of-a-kind complexity and depth. Embodying the rich heritage of mezcal production, Vago Pechuga is a testament to the artistry and innovation of Emigdio Jarquin, offering a memorable and authentic tasting experience.

Pineau des Charentes is a truly unique French aperitif, produced from a blend of fresh grape juice and young cognac, which is then aged in French oak barrels for several years. We let Doc Swinson’s blend of two five-year bourbon whiskeys rest in these barrels bringing hints of apricot, sultanas, and wildflower honey to the already delicious caramel and stone fruit notes of the bourbon.

Passion fruit is a climbing plant of the Passifloraceae family, native to Latin America. Also called granadilla, this fruit is a small tropical berry with fragrant flesh that differs from other fruits by its small black seeds. Giffard Crème de Fruit de la Passion brings the flavour of this fruit to cocktails with exotic accents.

TASTING NOTES

Color: Gold color with nice orange hues.

Scent: Very characteristic fruity notes of passion fruit pulp.

Taste: Very fruity and velvety, followed by acidulous notes typical of passion fruit.

Ironically, “grigio” means “gray” in Italian, which couldn’t be further from the truth in the case of KRIS, which is bursting with colorful aromas and flavors developed in high vineyards of the Veneto region. With enticing aromas of acacia flowers, lime, tangerine and hints of apricots and almonds, KRIS Pinot Grigio is bold but clean and refreshing on the palate, and offers a long finish tinged with orange blossom and honey.

Wine Characteristics: Pale yellow in color with brilliant greenish reflections, enticing aromas of acacia flowers, citrus, tangerine, and hints of apricots and almonds. KRIS Pinot Grigio is lean and refreshing on the palate with hints of blossom and honey.

Kazuki Gin is a unique blend inspired by Japanese botanicals. Infused with cherry blossoms, green tea leaves, yuzu peel, and locally foraged Vancouver Island botanicals, it offers a delicate, floral profile with citrusy notes. This gin captures a harmonious balance of East and West flavors.

Created in 1860, Early Times grew up during the early days of the country, when most of America was still country. The name Early Times was chosen as a tribute to the old-fashioned method of making whisky, which included mashing grain in small tubs and distilling the whisky in copper stills over open fires. Today, the process of distilling Early Times is much more exacting, but it still delivers the unmistakable mellow taste that is reminiscent of the original American whisky experience.
