Crafthouse Classic Cocktails are made from the highest quality all-natural ingredients. They All of our ready to drink cocktails contain no artificial colors, flavors, sweeteners, or preservatives. 

We use only exceptional spirits, collaborating with the finest producers (many of whom are our friends). You will never find malt, low-grade grain neutral spirits or unnamed “brewed alcohols” in our pre-mixed cocktails. 

Each Crafthouse Classic Cocktail is made just as it would be at a cocktail bar. We simply make them in larger batches. It is important to note that unlike many RTD’s (ready to drink) in the market, our cocktails each have their own ABV (alcohol by volume). You would never expect a Moscow Mule and an Old Fashioned to contain the same percentage alcohol, would you? 

Our cocktails in cans are not watered down. They have full and distinct flavor while still maintaining an accessible profile. Carefully curating our lineup, we worked diligently to provide something for every taste, occasion and mood. 

In alignment with our team’s individual concern for the impact on the environment, Crafthouse Cocktails strives to make sustainable decisions. We recently moved to 100% recyclable aluminum for our 200mls bottle and are introducing a new 1.75L bag-in-box option with less packaging. Our 750mls glass bottle is also 100% recyclable and reusable. 

RUM OLD FASHIONED

Over two hundred years old, the Old Fashioned is the very definition of a “cocktail”: a combination of spirits, sugar, water and bitters. And while this classic is typically made with whiskey, it can in fact be made with almost any base spirit. We make our Canned Old Fashioned with a long-aged, full-flavored, “whiskey-drinker” rum: 5 Years Barbados aged rum, which we combine with Xaymaca Special Dry pot stilled rum, a touch of sugar, and a dash of Bittered Sling’s Malagasy chocolate bitters. The result is a 100% all-natural, gluten-free Old Fashioned in a Can masterpiece.

Serve our Rum Old Fashioned over ice, misted with orange oil and garnished with orange peel.

Weeks of tweaking led us to this combination of tropically fruity malt whiskies from the Glen Elgin and Speyburn distilleries, together with whiskies influenced by Oloroso Sherry casks. Single malt from the Ardmore Distillery lends a herbal Highland peat note.

This is sure to delight fans of warm and vibrant whiskies, whether synaesthetic or not. Though 2019 feels a very long time ago, we are delighted to finally share Mannie’s vision of delicious whisky with the world.

What does a colour taste like?

The Circle is our international bartender competition; it serves as a kind of symposium in which the bar world and whiskymakers can come together to share ideas. ‘Is it possible to make a whisky that evokes the colour of coral?’ was the idea Mannie Monaghan, 2019’s winner, posed to us.

It wasn’t until after Mannie Monaghan won our international bartender programme The Circle in 2019, and we began working on a whisky together, that we learned he is synaesthetic. Mannie wanted his whisky to evoke a particular colour – coral – and so began a unique whisky-making project.

Affecting roughly 4% of the population, those with synaesthesia often experience a blending of their senses – for Mannie, aromas and flavours reveal a spectrum of colour. Not being synaesthetic ourselves, Mannie spent two lengthy sessions in the Blending Rooms, scouring sample boxes for whiskies that matched the warmth and powerful positivity of Living Coral.

FLAVOUR PROFILE (FOR NON-SYNAESTHETES)

We love the bright pineapple and stewed peach aromas that leap out of the glass. The flavour is of vanilla, honey and sultanas soaked in Cognac.

Our Smoky Margarita takes the iconic Margarita to the next level with the addition of one of our favorite spirits, mezcal. Traditional Oaxacan mezcal and Premium Blanco tequila make up the base of the drink, imbuing it with the perfect amount of smoke and agave presence. To that “split base” we add fresh lime, then a touch of sugar. After enjoying a smoked margarita, you may never drink a standard Margarita again!

BACARDÍ Limón rum named after the Spanish word for lemon. But it gets its fresh flavor from a blend of three citrus fruits; lemon, lime and grapefruit. So what does it taste like? Sunshine!

Patron Anejo, a uniquely barrel-aged spirit, matures for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels, developing a sweeter profile while maintaining distinctive baked agave flavors. It boasts prominent wood notes that complement rather than overshadow the essence of Patron. Whether enjoyed neat or in cocktails, it offers a sophisticated, smoky sweetness in its finish.

Indulge in Patron Anejo straight or in crafted cocktails—it serves as a remarkable alternative to bourbon or whiskey. It's favored by many as an ideal post-dinner drink or paired with desserts.

Benito and Jose S. Ríos are and excelent team. Benito himself an agronomist and engineer, oversees all of the farming tasks, from the germination of agave seed to maintaining the plantations of both agaves Chico Aguiar and Maximiliana. Joel is in charge of the tasks of the tavern, cooking, fermentation, and distillation come from his hand which he learned from Don Felix´s grandson. Don Felix was a legendary maestro in the area and mentored many distillers

They have managed to set an example stating that younger generations can also do things well.

Tasting Notes:

Color: Burnt Amber

Nose: Sweet Caramel, rich oak, toast, hint of fresh cedar, nutty, and cigar box

Taste: Balanced and complex flavor with caramel, oak, dried fruit, cinnamon, pepper, sweet tobacco, honey, and grain flavor.

Finish: dry long and pleasant with cinnamon and clove.

Mash bill: 57% corn, 38% rye, 5% Malted Barley

A delicious, natural tonic with a uniquely clean and refreshing taste. Subtle botanicals like hand-pressed bitter orange oil from Tanzania blend with pure cane sugar and real quinine sourced from the Congo for a bitter taste balanced by a soft citrus finish.

Quinine is the key ingredient, and the essential bitterness, in tonic water. The brand name Fever-Tree was chosen as it is the colloquial name for the cinchona tree, the bark of which produces quinine. After much research, a specific type of fever tree plantation (known as Cinchona ledgeriana) located on the Rwanda/Congo border, was found to be producing the purest quinine in the world. There was no other option but to source Fever-Tree's quinine from this plantation - the only drinks company to be doing so.

Busnel Calvados Pays d'Auge AOC VSOP is a distinguished apple brandy crafted in the heart of the Pays d'Auge region in Normandy, France. This appellation is recognized for its strict production standards, ensuring only the finest Calvados comes from the region. The VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) designation indicates that the blend of Calvados has been aged for a minimum of four years in oak barrels, although many expressions in the blend may be aged longer. The oak maturation imparts rich, complex flavors and deep amber hues, balancing the crisp freshness of apples with layers of vanilla, caramel, and subtle spice.

Busnel’s commitment to traditional distillation methods, using only apples sourced from the Pays d'Auge and employing double distillation, results in a spirit that captures the essence of the region's apple orchards. On the palate, expect a well-rounded and smooth texture with notes of baked apples, dried fruits, and toasted wood, finishing with a hint of spice and vanilla. It’s perfect for sipping neat, over ice, or as an exquisite base for cocktails.

The grapes from the province of Treviso, an area that has always produced high quality Prosecco, give this sparkling wine a luminous straw yellow hue and for its emphatic yet stylish mousse. The bouquet is redolent of golden apple, while the palate is appealingly marked by aromatic notes of golden apple, white peach and honey.

Mionetto’s most classic line reflects its connections with the history of the winery in the elegant presentation of the bottle, which features an oblique label design that has always been a characteristic of the winery. The refined design of the label reflects the style of the products. Prestige, quality in every detail!

APPELLATION: Treviso DOC. The grapes are grown in the Veneto region of Italy, in an area near the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, on the sloping hills just north of Treviso. Soil is alluvial with an important presence of clay.

GRAPE VARIETY: 100% Glera.

HARVEST PERIOD: The grapes are harvested in the second half of September

VINIFICATION: Wine is made from the soft pressing of the grapes with the must separated from the skins. Secondary fermentation (Charmat method) takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel.

Wood Finishing: Early Explorers of South America
While Amburana is a commonly harvested tree in South America, this was a new find for a craft distilled spirits producer like us. Amburana is known as “Brazilian Oak” and often used in South America for making essential oils, crafting luxury furniture and barrel aging Brazil's most popular spirit, Cachaça.

Our partner cooperage uses a patented technique to honeycomb drill small holes into the Amburana staves, allowing more wood surface interaction with the Bourbon. After aging RD1 Kentucky Straight Bourbon for 4+ years, we insert the Amburana staves into the barrel. It doesn’t take long for Amburana’s character to beautifully influence the bourbon. The end result represents RD1's curiosity to learn, experience, explore.

The Experience: A Step Beyond Bourbon
The best of baking spices – apple cinnamon, nutmeg and light brown sugar – come alive on the nose and are followed by pine, vanilla, peaches and apricots. Flavor galore with spice cake, and ginger snaps in a rich mouthfeel. Try a drop of water to open up hints of herbal black tea, dark berry jam and pineapple pepper. Finish is long and warm, and ends with allspice and sweet oak.

Maker Notes

Caravan Tea is dried over burning pine needles. This 17th century process imparts a smoky note versus traditional air-drying. The readied tea was exported via camel, with other spices, on the Silk Road enroute to the Russian Tsars. Drying the leaves over burning pine needles evokes notes akin to smoke-peated whisky. The Distillation captures the rich notes of the Lapsang Souchong leaf. The botanicals of cardamom and long pepper carefully frame the character of our Distilled Russian Caravan Tea gin with a titillating smoke note.

The Craft: Kentucky Through and Through
RD1 Spirit’s Straight Bourbon is distilled in Kentucky using 100% copper equipment, aged 4+ years in Kentucky and bottled in Kentucky. We use 100% Kentucky corn and local limestone well water in our sour mash (also non-chill filtered). This traditional mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley is a Bluegrass favorite for a reason.

The Packaging: Honoring the Past With Eyes Wide Open to the Future
RD1's custom glass bottle honors the first federally registered distillery in Lexington and the many brands it produced - the beautiful tree on the neck label is reminiscent of Ashland Distillery's old label and the glass lettering honors the Old William Tarr bottle. RD1's modern, concave bottle shape features the iconic horse farm fences of Lexington around the base in etched glass.

The Experience: Tried-and-True Lexington
This traditional Kentucky Straight Bourbon invites you in with delicious aromas of vanilla wafers and roasted almonds. When sipping, orange flavors are followed by honeyed caramel, herbal tea and peppery oak. A long, warm finish ends dry with a spicy hint of ginger and cinnamon.

Situated along the banks of the East River, Kings County Distillery is New York City's oldest operating whiskey distillery and the first distillery in New York City since Prohibition. Wedged between Williamsburg and Vinegar Hill, Colin Spoelman and David Haskell, the master distillers at Kings County, make hand-crafted bourbon and moonshine out of the 113-year old Paymaster Building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A typewriter the two distillers found on the sidewalk in Williamsburg is used to make the labels that adorn their clear, flask-like bottles, while a hairdryer (made by Revlon) is used to affix each bottle seal. Handwritten scrawls on a chalkboard keep track of different batches, and mesh laundry bags are used as strainers. Haskell and Spoelman use the first alcohol produced from each batch the "head" as a disinfectant and sell the used mash to a pig farmer who uses it as feed. "I still don't understand why it doesn't make the pigs drunk," Haskell says. Kings County Bourbon is made from a mash bill of New York State-grown corn and malted English barley. Twice distilled on Scottish copper pot stills it's then aged for at least two years in new oak barrels. Smooth, spicy, and complex, this bourbon is a precocious whiskey, surprisingly robust for its age with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, black pepper, and vanilla. Awarded three stars by the New York Times, and a double gold medal from the SF World Spirits Competition in 2019. Kings County currently produces about 150 gallons of bourbon a month. "We make enough to supply some of Brooklyn, some of Manhattan and that's about it," Spoelman says. After visiting their distillery, we bamboozled them into sharing some of their juice with the rest of the country. The bottles are filled, labeled and sealed by hand.

Kevin Buckler drove his famous #66 Porsche to legendary victories at the 24 Hours of Daytona and Le Mans almost 30 years ago. Today, team driver Derek DeBoer stewards this historic number, adding hardware to the trophy case and carrying on the legacy. This wine celebrates our shared passion for incredible white blends. Kevin, Derek, and winemaker Garrett Martin collaborated to craft this Rhone-inspired blend of Chardonnay, Marsanne, and Viognier.
