ARTISANAL DOUBLE BARREL: Puntagave Artisanal Double Barrel is a limited-edition extension to our Ultra-Premium Artisanal line. This special edition was created in collaboration with Mexican artists COCOLVU, numbered editions are a program to showcase our search for great tasting profiles and we plan to make one batch every year. 

This first edition of Puntagave Double Barrel is the product of a two-step aging process. The first involves aging the tequila in used American oak barrels for 1 year. Then we transfer half of the batch to a New American oak barrel using the Pennsylvania famous "Nadalie cooperative" Symphony toast barrels. Meanwhile, the other half goes to new French oak barrels (Natalie, Expression Rouge) from the forest of Allier France for another year. After that we blend them together to create this unique offering. This extra aging creates a tequila with an extremely rich texture, pleasant and complex aromas, and a dark amber color. The complexity that the double barrel acquires does not lose the cooked agave, spice, and floral notes you get intensified in our silver expression. Recommended pouring in a rock glass. Add nothing. Exuding an aromatic, mineral, and lively character, the Market Collection Pinot Gris 2022 Wine offers subtle citrus and floral notes. It boasts a dry palate with crisp acidity, delivering a fresh and lively mouthfeel dominated by citrus flavors, including lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit, ending on a floral note with hints of freshly sliced green apple. The grapes underwent a lengthy, cool fermentation with skin contact in stainless steel at 15°C (59°F) for three weeks. This wine is perfect for sipping on its own or paired with light fare like hummus, grilled veggies, seasonal salads, fruit, grilled chicken, and seafood, making it an ideal choice for relaxed gatherings and picnics. The 2020 vintage has been a silver lining for Ontario wine enthusiasts, marked by ideal weather conditions and fruitful vineyards at the Pillitteri Estate.

Tanduay has been crafting Asian rum since 1854, bringing a mysterious Eastern twist to the spirit. Headquartered in the Philippines, its origins go back to a distillery from Hagonoy, Bulacan, that was bought in 1856 by Ynchausti y Compaia, a multi-national company that was owned by the Ynchausti family, the seal of which still decorates their bottles today. By the 1900s the production had moved to the Manila distillery, and the brand Tanduay Rhum was formed, named after the area in which the distillery was located. The rum was produced in the significantly upgraded distillery in Manila until 2013, when it was decommissioned and the production moved to a much larger facility in the Philippines, capable of producing 100,000 cases each day. Since 1999 Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is owned by LT Group, Inc. In 2011, Tanduay was the 7th largest spirits brand in the world. Today their operation spans 4 plants that take care of aging, compounding, and bottling. At the heart of their lineup is an award-winning 5-year-old rum that matures in charred oak barrels. The brand has received over a hundred various awards over the years and sells over 20 million cases each year, making it one of the best-selling rum brands in the world. Tanduay Double Rum is a blend of rums that are aged between 5 and 16 years. After their initial period of aging, they are blended together and left to marry for an additional 2 years in ex-bourbon barrels, which gives the different juices time for the aromas and flavors to come together. This deluxe offering from Tanduay is bottled at 80 proof and has an exquisite balance of dried tropical fruits, nutty overtones, as well as vanilla and oak notes.

Black Cow is the world's first Pure Milk Vodka. Made from the milk of grass grazed cows, it has an exceptionally smooth and creamy character. Sip neat, or mix in a long drink or cocktail. We make our vodka in West Dorset from the milk of cows that graze on the fields surrounding the Black Cow distillery. Black Cow is the original spirit to champion sustainability: it is whey, a by-product of the cheese-making process, that makes our vodka so gloriously smooth. Dairy farmer Jason Barber and artist Paul Archard recognised the potential of milk vodka back in 2011. By combining the ancient Mongolian tradition of making alcohol from fermented milk, with the Northern European tradition of making high proof, clear, clean vodka they were able to develop an innovative, unique and superior tasting vodka, made entirely from the milk of cows.

Born on September 5, 1850, Jasper Newton "Jack" Daniel was the youngest of ten children. His parents were of Scottish and Irish descent. In 1864 Jack learned the art of whiskey making from the preacher and an enslaved man named Nathan "Nearest" Green. Nearest eventually became Jack Daniel Distillery's head distiller. Daniel's distillery founded in Lynchburg, Tennessee in 1866 was the first registered distillery in the country (at the time, distilleries were required to register with the federal government, and the Jack Daniel Distillery was given Registered Distillery Number 1). Today, Jack Daniel Distillery is one of the most distinguished and recognizable names in the spirits industry. Among all their offerings Jack Daniel's Black Label stands out as the instantly recognizable, iconic classic and the brand's flagship. It accounts for 96% of Jack Daniel's sales, making it the best selling whiskey in the world. While the true meaning behind the "Old No. 7" on the label was lost with Daniel's death, it is known that it won 7 gold medals in a very different time. It received its very first at the 1904 World's Fair in St Louis, Missouri, where the spirit reigned supreme over 24 others from across the globe a sign of things to come. The most important step in its creation is still the charcoal mellowing, or as they like to call it "The Extra Blessing". Before going into barrels, the clear, 140-proof distillate is filtered through handcrafted charcoal drop by drop, a process that takes from 3 to 5 days and is the reason behind the Black Label's signature smoothness. This very limited single malt, aged for 15 years in American bourbon casks, has been carefully hand-selected by Maurice & Jonathan Egan - the fifth and sixth generations of the Egan family. This release is limited to only 1,000 bottles and is an expression of their commitment to provide only the finest Irish whiskey and honor the craft and dedication of their forefathers.

This sumptuous single malt is non-chill-filtered to retain the unique characteristics of the carefully selected casks.

Maker Notes

We selected barrel of the sweet, delicate 51% rye/ 45% corn/ 4% barley traditional straight rye and blended it with barrels of the big and bold 51% rye/ 49% malted barley straight rye. The end result is an upfront flavor profile that is beautifully sweet and rich with a luxurious mouthfeel. The finish has just enough cinnamon and rye spice to get your tongue tingling while the flavors from the malted barley, such as smoke and malt are still present, but softer and more subtle.

Rutte Celery Gin embodies the essence of London Style Dry Gin, crafted using a fusion of six distinct botanicals, including the subtle addition of Celery leaves during the distillation process. This infusion of Celery leaves subtly enhances the Gin with a tantalizing UMAMI flavor that harmonizes without overpowering. Crown Royal Texas Mesquite is a blend of Crown Royal Deluxe infused with the smoky soul of locally sourced Texas mesquite wood. The result is a unique flavor that is smoky and spicy with the distinctive smoothness of Crown Royal.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Crown Royal Texas Mesquite begins with a nose of mesquite smoke and vanilla with hints of barbecue spice.

PALATE: Opens with a smoky mesquite and oak flavor backed by notes of creamy vanilla and caramel.

FINISH: Light and oaky with smoked mesquite and barbecue notes. The rustic and refined notes of smoke, molasses and wood are truly distinctive, yet familiar.

BLACKENED x Willett Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey was curated with an in-house marriage of Kentucky high rye and low rye recipes that were hand-selected by both Rob and Drew from Willett Distillery’s Family Estate Selection. The high rye whiskey offers spicier, more robust notes like fresh-cut hay and walnut, while the low rye features a slightly sweeter, earthier taste, such as cinnamon, mint and honey. Drew and Rob naturally gravitated towards these two recipes for a balanced flavor, smoothed out by the whiskey’s collective age statements and cask finishing. The oldest whiskey features an age statement of 8 years, while the average age of the bottling is 6 ½ years.

The whiskies are then married together and finished in Madeira Casks for up to 14 weeks, imparting subtle fruity notes, honey overtones and hints of raspberry. During that time, the whiskey undergoes the proprietary BLACK NOISE™ sonic enhancement process that uses the low hertz frequencies from Metallica’s music to vibrate the barrels, causing a greater interaction between the whiskey and the wood, forcing the liquid further into the barrel and extracting more flavor and color.

For the first release in the series, Rob Dietrich and Willett Distillery’s own Master Distiller, Drew Kulsveen, teamed up to create the BLACKENED X Willett Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey Finished in Madeira Casks.

TASTING NOTES

Sweet-simmered rhubarb and brown sugar butter, corn husk, vanilla bean, cigar box and ripe fig on the nose. A mouth-warming symmetry of buttery caramel & earthy mint on the palate, with a degree of raspberry sweetness from the Madeira cask-finish, balancing with the rustic notes of fresh cut hay from the high rye and rolling into a white pepper, cinnamon butter & walnut finish.
