The Balvenie's 15 year old Single Barrel Sherry Cask has been matured exclusively in a single European oak sherry butt for at least 15 years. The 15-year maturation in a cask that has previously held Oloroso sherry creates a single malt characterized by dried fruit richness, nuttiness and spice. No more than 650 hand-numbered bottles are drawn from each sherry butt and each bottle carries the number of the cask in which it was matured.

Initially released as a limited time offering, George Dickel is excited to announce the return of George Dickel 17 Year Old Reserve, an incredibly rare, aged Tennessee whisky. Inspired by the previous release and its dedicated fans, General Manager and Distiller Nicole Austin intentionally searched for barrels that captured what made the original liquid special.

With a woody, robust profile, the newest release pays homage to the old liquid while featuring subtle contrasts that differentiate the two. This perfectly aged, cask-strength release boasts complex aromas of crème brûlée, apricots with hints of plum and juniper on the palate and a rich cedar finish.

Honey and chrysanthemum flowers come together in this rich yet delicate liqueur. The nose of the flower and texture of organic honey are a perfect mix with rum, whiskey, or gin. Made using two different varieties of chrysanthemum flowers and organic wildflower honey from Wisconsin. Unlike other liqueurs on the market, Koval liqueurs use a white whiskey base, adding more depth to the spirit.

Sitting alongside its 11s series counterparts, this Ten Year Old brings a subtler, more mature dimension to the otherwise youthful exuberance of the .1, .2 and .3 spirits. While we deliberately keep the barley influence forward in the .1 and .3 editions, our .2 and Ten Year Old editions introduce cask influence at varying ends of the Octomore age spectrum. While the malt for our Octomore Ten Year Old is initially higher in PPM, the influence of those 5 extra years results in a calmer, deeper spirit.

TASTING NOTES

CHARACTER: Grown up Octomore, relaxed and refined, with age we lose some of the vitality but develop a sense of calm and deep complexity.

AROMA: Wonderful Bouquet of Peat and fruit. Nectarine and citrus fruits with hints of pineapple and mango, a depth of rich sweetness and complexity. Vanilla and oak sugar, nutty and vibrant. With age the fruit comes through so well, and the depth of flavour is wonderful, more exotic fruits and that citrus and minerality character which is the DNA of our spirit.

TASTE: Wonderful salty tang on the lips, leading into a viscous and honey like texture. Beautiful fruit notes and sweet oak make this a joy to hold on the palate, the peach, ripe pineapple and mango, dried apricot and peach notes are beautifully weighed against the smoke and oak, the extra age and combination of casks bring a level of maturity to this expression of Octomore that gives a new dimension to our understanding of this exceptional single malt

FINISH: Oak driven, coconut, tobacco, vanilla, then smoke. The time in the cask has calmed the smoke, both through the phenols lowering naturally over time and the influence of the oak becoming greater.

For Shay Smith and his family, it is where their life-adventure and OCEAN Organic Vodka began. Being born and raised on Maui provided the luxury to explore this tropical paradise, which included passionately riding its magnificent ocean waves. The Hawaiian Islands are his home and a magical place worth sharing. After returning from college and some International travel, Shay was encouraged by his entrepreneurial parents to create a premium product from Hawaii with the desire of making it available around the world.

The Vision

The idea of OCEAN Organic Vodka was sparked by an article in the newspaper about one of Hawaii's natural resources - desalinated deep ocean mineral water off the Kona coast of the Bid Island, This coupled with a collection of experiences like relaxing on the Ianai after a long day, enjoying a lobation and "talking-story" with friends and family became the basis for this celebratory creation 

Ocean Vodka is distilled from pure organic sugar cane using continuous column distillation through 103 platelets. Each platelet acts as a mini-distillation, resulting in an exceptionally pure spirit.

Martini & Rossi Prosecco Sparkling Wine Tasting Notes

Nose: A dry, fresh and crisply aromatic sparkling wine.

Palate: Natural hints of apple, banana, peach and thyme.

Each winter, Marko Karakasevic, master distiller at Charbay Distillery, travels to Central California and selects organically grown, tree-ripened blood oranges at their peak maturity. The oranges are delivered to his distillery in St. Helena, California within three days and crushed skins and all by Marko (a 13th generation master distiller!) and his team. Blood oranges' distinctive crimson pigment is a result of high levels of anthocyanins, an antioxidant thought to protect against ailments such as cancer, inflammation and diabetes. Grown in cool climates, blood oranges are more intense than ordinary oranges and have unique, raspberry-like flavors in addition to typical citrus notes. Using a secret process that takes nearly six months, Marko and his team extract the flavor, color and antioxidants from the blood oranges. The fruit extract is then blended with Charbay's award-winning Clear Vodka. Crafted in a Polish distillery that has been producing vodka since 1910, Belvedere's Master Rye Distillers leverage six centuries of Polish vodka-making heritage to skillfully transform Polish rye into a vodka with a unique and distinctive flavor profile.

The Merlet & Fils Distillery hails from the Saint-Sauvant in the Cognac region. The family-owned brand has been making cognac since 1850 and is now in its fifth generation of Merlet's. After distilling for large cognac houses for 160 years Merlet ventured out to develop their own cognac in 2010, producing several award-winning spirits. Gilles Merlet and his sons Pierre and Luc created this blend as a new expression for the new generation. They sourced four cognacs from Fins Bois crus and one from Grande Champagne, aging it for at least four years, yielding a sophisticated marriage of different ages. This is a unique release where the youngest cognacs deliver power and energy, and the oldest bring maturity and complexity. This Merlet VS is comprised of hand-selected eaux-de-vie blended from several different regions. For this expression, Gilles and his sons selected and blended eaux-de-vie from different regions of the cognac appellation, to ensure consistent quality. Aged for at least two years, the eaux-de-vie selected for this blend are light and inviting, made mostly from Fins Bois crus, but also from Bons Bois and a little bit of Petite Champagne. The result is a VS cognac with slightly woody and delicately fruity notes.
