A brand that dates back to the late 19 century. This Yellow Label bottling of Four Roses was released for the European and Japanese markets and is made up of whiskeys aged between 5 and 6 years of age.

Four Roses Distillery is a special place with a special page in history. One of only six distilleries that were permitted to operate during Prohibition to produce medicinal Bourbon, it has an intriguing history. Old Carter is the passion project of “flavor chaser” partners Mark Carter and Sherri Carter, whose beverage industry roots trace back to award-winning careers in the California wine business. The Woodford Reserve Distillery is among Kentucky's oldest and smallest bourbon distilleries. After Prohibition, the federal government issued the Federal Alcohol Administration Act of 1935, providing guidelines for four distinctive styles of American straight whiskey: bourbon, rye, wheat, and malt. Woodford Reserve now offers all four of these unique expressions in their lineup. Inspired by post-Prohibition American whiskey guidelines this highly anticipated Woodford Reserve Wheat whiskey is influenced by historical recipes. Created by renowned Master Distiller Chris Morris, this special Woodford Reserve is distilled from 52% wheat, 20% malt, 20% corn and 8% rye.

Nose: Light caramel and sweet vanilla

The nose is sweet with hints of vanilla and caramel. The taste is well balanced and completes the palate. The balance from the blend of different char levels of barrels smooths the edges of the bourbon creating a full bodied experience from start to finish.

Appearance: Extra rich, unfiltered deep amber color.

Taste: Broad, fulsome mouthfeel, leading to a sweeter vanilla accent, before a gathering of rye spices (clove, cinnamon, mint, dark berry) into the finish.

Du Nord is the brainchild of Chris Montana, who decided to open a distillery in his home city of Minneapolis in 2013. It's a family-run operation that combines Chris' city-smarts with Shanelle Montana's country spirit. The craft spirits company has since grown considerably from a garage-type distilling project and works to bring minorities and members of underrepresented communities into their family. The name Du Nord is a tribute to Minnesota's title of "The Star of the North." They offer tours of the Du Nord distillery and operate a Du Nord Cocktail room on the premises. Their lineup currently consists of the L'Etoile Du Nord sipping vodka, Fitzgerald Gin (a London dry and old world style hybrid), Apple Du Nord apple liqueur, and Caf Frieda coffee liqueur. Each and every one of these has garnered awards from some of the most prestigious spirits competitions. Du Nord Mixed Blood Blended Whiskey is the newest member of the Du Nord family. It's an in-house bourbon that has a high-rye mash bill and is blended with sourced whiskeys for a profile that is rye-forward, fruity, spicy, and pleasantly sweet. It's aged for two years before being bottled at 80 proof.

Following the defeat of the British at the Battle of Yorktown during the American Revolutionary War, the territory west of the Appalachian mountains became known as Kentucky County. At the time, the territory was considered part of Virginia and was overseen by a military governor named John J. Bowman. In order to encourage westward expansion, Virginia issued pioneers who agreed to settle in Kentucky County "corn writs," which granted the pioneers 60 acres of land if they agreed to settle in Kentucky and start farming corn. One year after the defeat of the British, a Baptist minister named Elijah Craig emigrated to Fayette County (today, a part of the State of Kentucky) and purchased 1,000 acres of land in a town named Lebanon. In 1789, Craig built a distillery on his farm and is credited with being the first person to mature bourbon in charred, oak casks, earning him the title "Father of Bourbon Whiskey." Elijah Craig Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey pays homage to Craig and his unique legacy. The bourbon is bottled from the marriage of fewer than 100 casks of maturing bourbon, each of which is rested in a Kentucky rickhouse for a minimum of a dozen years. The bourbon has an aroma of honey, sweet corn, vanilla, and brown sugar. The aroma gives way to notes of roasted nuts, creamy vanilla, molasses and tropical fruits on the palate, that are well-balanced by hints of dry oak and cinnamon. The finish is long and sweet and ends with a warming touch. This unique 18-Year-Old bourbon showcases Elijah Craig's Master Distillers' expertise, bottled solely from the contents of one barrel, this expression of bourbon-making craftsmanship is bold and robust.
