The Parker's Heritage collection of small-batch bourbons are a series of rare, limited-edition bourbons crafted in tribute to Master Distiller Parker Beam and his five decades of experience distilling whiskey. Each year, Parker Beam and Heaven Hill select a special expression of whiskey to release under the Parker's Heritage Collection label. The barrels hand-selected for this series include bourbon, rye and wheat whiskeys, among others, and are some of the highest quality and most diverse American whiskeys to be produced. This 13th edition eight year old is the first-ever Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey to be released as a park of the Parker's Heritage Collection, consisting of 75 specialty barrels charred for a full minute and a half, as opposed to a more traditional 40 seconds. The Level 5 char barrels have been rested for eight years and nine months, on the seventh floor of Rickhouse Y. The heavier char allows the whiskey to penetrate further into the barrel, delivering deep notes of spice and wood, resulting in enhanced notes of spice and a distinctive character imparted by their traditional Rye Whiskey mashbill. King St. Vodka, is a premium craft vodka founded by award-winning actress and dirty martini fan Kate Hudson. Made in Santa Barbara, CA, the name is inspired by Hudson's memories of living on King Street in NYC's Greenwich Village. After a particularly long day, I decided to host an impromptu cocktail party with my closest friends. As I prepared to whip up a batch of dirty vodka martinis I surveyed my bar, but I wasnt 100 percent happy with my options. Then I wondered, Are any of these vodkas founded by women I did some research, they werent. So, I decided to make my own just the way I like it! Says Hudson. King St. Vodka is produced under the watchful eye of Master Distiller, Ian Cutler. A proprietary process using GMO-free corn and alkaline water yields a gluten free, ultra-premium spirit with a hint of sweet vanilla flavor. Each bottle is numbered in series, once a release is gone it is gone forever. This Classic Cask 23 Year Old Caribbean Rum Finish is part of a series of four twenty-three year-old Spirits released in tandem. After 23 years of aging the whisky was placed into former Caribbean Rum casks that once held Solera aged rums, for 6 months. During that period, it picked up the distinctive rum features which added a new dimension to this thoroughly engaging whisky.

Wiggly Bridge Gin is made using the same sour mash base that Wiggly Bridge Distillery uses for their award-winning whiskeys, and all their spirits are distilled on their hand-built 60 gallon copper still, which is operated by a father and son team.

Tasting Notes

When first nosed, Wiggly Bridge Gin has prominent notes of licorice and anise, with a subtle hint of hay and corn in the background. This combination of licorice and grain is reminiscent of some genevers. On the palate, the spirit is somewhat thin and quickly washes over the palate, but it has a distinct and warm finish that lingers. Initially, there's a touch of licorice, followed by a sharp juniper flavor and a mild bitterness from orange zest. Towards the end, there's a musky note that comes from the angelica root. Finally, the gin finishes with a long, warm, slightly peppery and licorice-flavored aftertaste.

Situated on the Kentucky River in Frankfort, Kentucky, Buffalo Trace Distillery takes its name from an ancient pathway that migrating buffalo used when traveling westward. The trail was well-known among Native Americans and was eventually used by pioneering settlers who crossed the Ohio River and followed the buffalo trace to the Western frontier. Buffalo Trace Distillery is the oldest continually operating distillery in the United States and includes the rich legacies of master distillers such as E.H. Taylor, Jr, George T. Stagg, Albert B. Blanton, Orville Schupp, and Elmer T. Lee. Today, the distillery is still family-owned, operating on the same 130 acres of land adjacent to the Kentucky River as it has for over 200 years. Trace Distillery's own Master Distiller Harlen Whitley built upon those centuries of knowledge and experience when crafting their Wheatley Vodka. It's a small-batch affair that is distilled 10 times using their one-of-a-kind micro still. It's a combination of a 7X distilled wheat recipe and a 7X distilled grain recipe. After they are combined, they are distilled an additional 3 times, triple-filtered, and bottled at 82 proof, which they found to be perfect for the spirit to show through when mixing cocktails. Yet the crisp, clean, and pure spirit is perfectly drinkable on its own, which is when its subtle hints of vanilla shine through.

In 1988, near a scenic stream called Lithia Creek in Ashland, Oregon, Jack Joyce and Bob Woodell, fraternity brothers at the University of Oregon, opened the doors of Rogue Brewery. For fifteen years, Rogue Brewery brewed beers such as Dead Guy Ale, Dad's Little Helper and Brutal IPA under the tutelage of John Maier, Rogue Brewery's brewmaster. Then, with the addition of Master Distiller John Couchot in 2003, Rogue Spirits was born. Couchot, who earned a bachelor's degree in chemistry at Evergreen State College in Washington, was a professional chemist for six years before jumping ship to make spirits. They take pride in all their whiskeys being handcrafted. This starts at the selection of grains, brewing, and distilling, then ends with aging and bottling. All Rogue's spirits are made from ingredients off their own Rogue farms and Oregon Single Malt Whiskey is no exception. It's a handcrafted single malt whiskey that's pot-distilled in small batches using malted barley that has been smoked using cherry and alder wood. It is aged for a minimum of 5 years in new American Oak barrels, char 3. It is then bottled at 80 proof with no chill filtering involved. 

A regal take on what many consider to be an essentially rustic distillate, Don Amado Añejo shows amazing complexity beyond simple smoke, and is a great example how barrel flavors can complement rather than mask agave’s wild charms.

Savory, mesquite aromas hint at barbecue and toasted cayenne pepper, while flavors flow between layers of baked stonefruit from the brandy barrel aging. Palate continues in similar form with notes of grilled pineapple, and the finish shows a long, bright and refreshing saline minerality.

Maker Notes

A blend of 4+ year old Coppercraft-distilled and 9+ year old sourced Indiana bourbon creates a punchy, spicy whiskey. We use brandy blending and proofing techniques that take three months from barrel to bottle.

Bright golden color. Vibrant aromas of creme brulee, singed flowers, dense spices, and Provence herb soap follow through on a round, supple entry to dryish medium-full body with layers of praline, vanilla bean, and exotic peppercorns. Finishes with very long, evolving honeyed cereal and grassy.

We took our classic beach made white rum and added caramelized banana with a whiff of island spice and toasted coconut to create a new gold standard. The classic Banana daiquiri just got an upgrade, and new cocktails like the PB&B, Grilled Banana Punch and Bananas Fostertini are a whole new way to experience the islands anytime, anywhere.

Distillates are made exclusively from grapes grown in the Ararat Valley, they contain all the power of nature. The gift package and the design of the decanter are inspired by the history of Armenia and the heritage of many generations of the factory’s craftsmen. Golden details remind of the symbolic wings of the ancient gods, whose images adorn the bas-reliefs of the Erebuni fortress to this day.

Naturally aged for at least four and a half years, the bold and full-bodied blend of DUSSE VSOP Cognac is made from a selection of the finest eaux-de-vie, including some that were carefully matured in the cellars of the Cha^teau de Cognac. The result is a uniquely powerful Cognac that begins with bold intensity and finishes pleasantly smooth and balanced.

Natural humidity of the cellars impacts evaporation and maintains the perfect balance of humidity, dryness and temperature, unique aging conditions found only at the Cha^teau de Cognac. Produced using the Charentaise method - slow double-distillation in copper stills.The lees (spent yeast cells) are kept in the wine to add additional depth and character to the eau-de-vie.
