Aviation is distilled using a proprietary maceration recipe that produces a pure medley of botanical flavor.

STEP 1: INFUSION
It all starts with our precise blend of botanicals – cardamom, coriander, French lavender, anise seed, sarsaparilla, juniper, and two kinds of orange peel. The botanicals are suspended in a neutral grain spirit for 18 hours in macerating tanks.

STEP 2: DISTILLATION
The macerate is then pumped into a still along with pure water. Steam jackets heat the macerate, the vapors go into the condenser, which cools the vapors to form the gin distillate.

STEP 3: THE CUT
In a meticulously monitored process, the first fluid leaving the still, the "heads," is removed. Collecting the "heart of the spirit" throughout the run, the distillers then determine the end of the cycle and make the final cut, "the tails." This process takes approximately 7 hours and at this point, the "heart cut" is 142 proof.

STEP 4: BLENDING & BOTTLING
The "heart cut" is transferred to a blending tank where pure water is added, bringing the gin to the desired 84 proof. It is then sent to the bottling line for filling, capping, and labeling. Aviation is then packed into boxes and ready to ship.

Three Chord states that they are first and foremost blenders. However, they recently came across a small lot of barrels and felt they should enter the bourbon community in their original form. Their Whiskey Drummer 15 Year Straight Bourbon Whiskey is non-chill filtered and bottled at barrel proof (117.9 Proof). A total of 2,500 bottles were produced from the small lot of barrels. These bottles will be released in two small batches consisting of 10 barrels each.

MASH BILL: 78.5 Corn, 12.5 Rye, 9 barley

APPEARANCE: DARK COPPER

AROMA: The nose jumps out of the glass with campfire, baking spice, and dark chocolate.

TASTE: This bourbon is heavy on the pallet but surprisingly well balanced, considering its age. There is oak, but it’s not overpowering at all. Instead, notes of walnut, leather, smoke, vanilla, and allspice linger for an exceptionally long finish.

FINISH: LONG LASTING NOTES OF BROWN SUGAR, CINNAMON AND BLACK CHERRY

Detailed Description

Tito's Handmade Vodka is America's Original Craft Vodka. In 1995, Bert Tito Beveridge obtained the first legal permit to distill in Texas and created Tito's Handmade Vodka. We batch distill our corn-based vodka using old-fashioned pot stills and the vodka is naturally Gluten-Free. Tito's Handmade Vodka is distilled and bottled by Fifth Generation Inc. in Austin, Texas on the very same land where the whole venture started.

Distillery Information

So Tito set out to learn about how to distill. It was the early nineties, and pre-internet, so there really wasn't any information readily available, and it almost seemed as though there had been a book burning at the library on any subject matter related to spirits and distilling. Eventually, through his research, Tito uncovered a bunch of pictures of old moonshiners and prohibition-era busts. He started building stills based on photos using copper pipe and a simple outdoor fryer for heat and started cooking. He just kept messing with the still and the recipe until he found a process and a recipe that his friends seemed to like. I basically just kinda kept working at it and working at it. We bought every vodka that was on the shelf, put them in little mason jars and tasted all of them and came up with the two best ones. When mine consistently beat those two then I figured that I had my formula right.

On top of the Bounty white rum, coconut extracts and sugars are macerated with the rum at high strength. The rum is then diluted with distilled water and sugar to create BOUNTY Coconut.

The One and Only New Orleans Original. Sazerac Rye Whiskey symbolizes the tradition and history of New Orleans. Rye Whiskey that dates back to the 1800's, around the time when saloons, veiled as Coffee Houses, began lining the streets of New Orleans. It was at the Sazerac Coffee House on Royal Street where local patrons were served toddies made with Rye Whiskey and Peychaud's Bitters. The libation became known as the Sazerac and America's first branded cocktail was born. This is the whiskey that started it all.

THE BENROMACH STORY

We are a traditional Speyside distillery owned by a family of whisky-lovers intent on making single malt the right way with true character. We keep things simple. A handful of distillers relying entirely on our expertise and senses to make the finest handmade whisky; Speyside single malt matured exclusively in first-fill casks, with a subtly smoky character. It takes just four ingredients – barley, water, yeast, and a human touch. All of our casks are hand-filled, individually weighed, stenciled by hand, and stowed in our traditional dunnage warehouses. Why? Because at Benromach we believe making whisky by hand guarantees genuine character.

OUR HISTORY

Our family, the Urquharts of Elgin, have always been passionate about whisky. Our ancestor John began laying down casks of single malt at different distilleries in 1915, when everyone else was blending their whiskies. It was the realization of a long-held dream when we acquired Benromach Distillery in 1993. Five years of meticulous refitting of the distillery followed before HRH Prince Charles officially reopened our doors in 1998. Time well spent creating a style of single malt reminiscent of the days before commercial maltings. A time when Speyside distilleries malted their own barley using peat to fuel the fires and impart a distinctive touch of smoke to their whiskies. The resurrection of Benromach Distillery signaled the rediscovery of a lost style of Speyside single malt.

FIRST-FILL BOURBON AND SHERRY CASKS,

Only ever matured in the highest quality oak casks, our FIFTEEN YEAR OLD single malt whisky gives cracked pepper, charred oak, apples, dark chocolate and forest fruits with rich sherry notes and a touch of smoke.

With award-winning Cincoro Blanco as its base, Cincoro Añejo is barrel aged for over two years, taking it beyond the fresh agave flavors through toasted oak to a deeper level of woody richness. 1½ ounces Chopin Vodka
¾ ounce Dorda Coconut Liqueur
¾ ounce Fresh orange juice
¾ ounce Pineapple juice
¼ ounce Coco Real Coconut Cream
Fresh grated nutmeg
Pineapple leaves
Orange slice

In a large shaker combine vodka, Dorda Coconut Liqueur, coconut cream, pineapple and orange juices. Add a scoop of ice, cap and shake vigorously for 8 seconds. Strain over ice into a Collins-style Tiki glass. Grate fresh nutmeg over the top. Garnish with orange wheel and pineapple leaves.
