An evolution of The Dalmore house style, this 18 year old expression takes on bolder notes becoming a robust and formidable whisky. The Dalmore 18 showcases the result of extended maturation. Matured initially for 14 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then transferred to 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts for a further four years. These sherry butts from the world renowned sherry house Gonzalez Byass are selected exclusively for The Dalmore.

This specially crafted whisky has been expertly made to be the perfect accompaniment to a fine cigar. Matured initially in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, it is then finessed in Cabernet Sauvignon wine barriques.

The Dalmore 15 year old is smooth, rich and well rounded; the epitome of The Dalmore house style. This delicate and approachable vintage is initially matured for 12 years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, then split equally between three different sherry woods Amoroso, Apostoles and Matusalem oloroso for a further three years. The character and complexity of The Dalmore 15 are acquired during this unique cask journey. The spirit is finally reunited in an upstanding sherry butt, allowing the flavours to marry.

Matured for an initial nine years in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the spirit is then divided for its final flourish. One half remains in the bourbon barrels, while the other is transferred to 30-year-old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry butts before they are reunited to create this phenomenal whisky.

Pusser's highly awarded Gunpowder Proof is a traditional Royal Navy style rum produced at original Admiralty strength in accordance with the Admiralty's blending recipe last used when the Royal Navy discontinued its daily ration on 31 July 1970 (109 Proof). Before the invention of the hydrometer, the ship's purser shutdown claims of watering down the sailors daily tot by mixing a few grains of gunpowder to the rum to see if it would burn. If the mixture ignited, the rum was at proof. If it didnt, the purser might find himself tossed to sea.
