TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Juicy ripe pears, honey blossom, and vanilla pastel de nata on a back drop of white chocolate, marzipan, and subtle cinnamon spice.

PALATE: Sweet apricot, traditional pear drop sweets, coconut shavings over milk chocolate followed by zesty lemon curd, and hints of aromatic gingerbread.

FINISH: Sweet, silky and complex.

We took the heavenly flavors of mint ice cream and chocolate chips and blended them with our whiskey to make a smooth and creamy sipper that's perfect over ice. Drink your dessert.

TAU Tequila Blanco through the senses

To the nose: On the nose, it invites us to enjoy its characteristic aromas of ripe, well-cooked agaves, elegant expressions that remind us of tangerine, orange, lime, lemon, pineapple, banana and pear, which give way to grass, grass and mint and a hint of lavender flower and orange blossom, finishing with delicious spices of cinnamon, clove and pepper.

To taste: Honest to the taste, moderately mineral to the attack, it opens the mouth to the enjoyment and appreciation of tangerine, pear, pineapple, lemon and lime, highlighting herbs, grass and mint, to give way to caramel, vanilla, anise, clove, pepper and cinnamon, closing with a full-bodied finish, excellent bouquet and lingering notes of Agave.

Tequila TAU añejo, made in the highlands of Jalisco, is a tequila inspired by the Wixárika culture, dedicated to the eagle god!

Tequila TAU Añejo is matured in American oak barrels for a period of 14 to 18 months to provide those exquisite flavors that are distinguished by the most demanding palates.

At a glance: To the eye it is distinguished by an elegant straw gold color, bright, clean and crystalline... full-bodied.

To the nose: On the nose, it invites us to enjoy its characteristic aromas of ripe, caramelized agaves, highlighting hints of pineapple, pear, tangerine, lime, orange, which give way to grass, grass and a hint of lavender and jasmine flower, finishing with delicious notes of vanilla spices, anise and cinnamon.

To taste: The taste presents a slightly mineral attack, highlighting hints of lime, lemon, pineapple, pear and tangerine, which give way to herbal expressions of mint, grass, green tea and eucalyptus, with delicate notes of chocolate and lavender, culminating with elegant notes of vanilla, pepper, anise that allow us to enjoy the lactic notes of cajeta and butter to enjoy this formidable Tequila.

Tequila TAU Reposado, made in the highlands of Jalisco, is a tequila inspired by the Wixárika culture, dedicated to the deer god!

TAU Tequila Reposado is matured in American oak barrels for a period of 4 to 6 months to provide those exquisite flavors that are distinguished by the most demanding palates.

At a glance: Straw-colored, bright, clean and crystalline, full-bodied.

To the nose: On the nose, it invites us to enjoy its characteristic aromas of ripe, well-cooked Agaves, with expressions of pumpkin, sweet potato, honeys, candies, tangerine, lime, lemon, pineapple and pear citrus, which give way to grass, grass and mint and a hint of cherry blossom, finishing with delicious spices of vanilla, anise, clove and pepper.

Distilled, blended and bottled by Kōloa Rum Company Kalaheo, Kauaʻi, Hawaiʻi, 40% ABV/80 Proof.

Kōloa Gold Rum is made from pure cane sugar, distilled in an impressive vintage 1,210 gallon, steam-powered copper pot still and cut with filtered water from the ancient Mount Waiʻaleʻale.

The rum is distilled 2 times at 160 – 180 ABV.

Appearance
A vibrant, golden hued rum with a wonderful and surprisingly deep viscosity on the glass. Shimmering, light golden legs run slowly and deliberately down the inside of the glass.

Nose
Initially starts off a rich caramel with wafts of butter toffee, light hints of amaretto and freshly roasted macadamia nuts.

Taste and Finish
This soft, candy-like gold rum presents itself boldly with no pretenses other than being a good-tasting gold rum. The mouth feel is viscous with an upfront caramel blast that finishes with vanilla, light macadamia nut brittle and toasted almond.
