The effect of Bitters in a drink is to balance, round out and complex the flavor. Your mouth has taste receptors for sour, sweet, and salty; AND it has a receptor for bitter. Our Silver Medal gluten-free Vodka is distilled from 100% non-GMO corn in Northern California and finished at our bottling facility in Ukiah, CA. It is here that we transfer the raw spirit to our tanks and proof it down slowly by blending in crystal clear purified water to our preferred 86 proof (abv 43%). We then screen and double charcoal filter before bottling the spirit into our signature Mulholland Vodka bottles.
