In 2009, Phil Brandon left his corporate job in the pursuit of his passion, starting a distillery. Thus the phrase ‘Our Passion Is Our Spirit’ was born, and in 2010 Rock Town Distillery found its home in Little Rock, Arkansas.

History

Born in the Highlands of Jalisco, and raised in the Valleys of Tequila. Don Fulano is a product of the Fonseca family whose story begins in the Highlands of Jalisco where their great grandfathers began cultivating agave 140 years ago. Today - respected agave farmers – they also run La Tequilena, one of the highest-rated and most awarded tequila distilleries.

Don Fulano Anejo is a marriage of very old tequilas aged in French limousine and Nevers oak casks that previously held wines. It’s deep and complex with dried fruits and spice elements like cardamom and allspice which complement elegantly the right touch of sweetness that comes from slowly cooked mature agave. Honey and caramelized nuts emerge from a long finish together with refreshing light menthol. Great to wrap up a nice dinner.

Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc all starts in the vineyard. We treat each vineyard block and parcel of wine individually. The fruit is harvested at optimum maturity, crushed, gently pressed and the juice is clarified.

A long, slow, temperature controlled fermentation and immediate bottling after winemaking retains all the wonderful fruit flavors and aromas present.

Oyster Bay Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw green in color with brilliant clarity. A concentration of assertive passionfruit and tropical fruit flavors with an abundant bouquet, it is a white wine that is always crisp, elegant and refreshing.

Flavor Notes
Rich and complex on the nose with notes of blackberry, dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and sweet burnt toffee. In the glass, bourbon barrel aging imparts vanilla, brown spice, and caramel flavors, which blend harmoniously with ripe plum, cranberry, and hints of barbecued meats.

OUR STORY

Belle Glos showcases distinctive Pinot Noirs produced from California’s most noteworthy coastal wine-growing regions. While each vineyard location lies near the Pacific Ocean, the climate differences are significant, varying with the amount of fog, wind, sunlight, and soil type at each site. Each Vineyard Designate is crafted to distill the purest essence of the locale into elegant expressions of California Pinot Noir. Owner/winemaker, Joe Wagner chose the name Belle Glos (pronounced “BELL GLOSS”) to honor his grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner. Lorna was a co-founder of Caymus Vineyards, an inspirational figure to Joseph and an avid lover of Pinot Noir.

Belle Glos Pinot Noir Clark & Telephone 2019 has Deep ruby red color with lush aromas of ripe cherry, nutmeg, and dark chocolate laced with clove, cedar, and lightly toasted oak. Bold and unctuous on the palate with dark ripe fruit, baking spices, cocoa, and blueberry pie filling. The texture is rich and velvety which leads to a long, structured finish.

To ensure authentic taste of Highlands-born tequilas, Espanita Blanco is crafted from 100% mature Blue Agaves by using ancestral production techniques and bottled fresh from the still. As a result, Espanita Blanco is bursting with zesty, peppery aromas of freshly baked agaves and retains intense, clean, herbaceous flavors; a tequila in its purest form.

We recommend enjoying Espanita Blanco neat or on the rocks, served in a whiskey glass over a large chunk of ice. Swirl it gently and you will be surprised by the complexity of its taste and aromas when tequila gradually opens and develops in a glass.

COLOR: Silvery, colorless, of impeccable purity.

AROMA: Candied aromas and flavors of marzipan, chocolate mint, sage, bay leaf and lemongrass.

About the Brand

The Camarena brothers used to run the Santa Maria ranch from sunset to sunset. The only thing that could stop them was their parents call to come home for dinner.

Driven by the unbridled passion that lived in their hearts, one afternoon in the cold winters of 1976, they left the ranch without permission to ride their horses, taking them to the municipal lane of Arandas for a clandestine race of 100 rods, the young brothers looked at each other with the certainty that this day would remain engraved in their memories; with passion and enthusiasm, they set off on their horses in an unprecedented race, competing head to head….

A few meters from the end of the race, the unexpected happens, they see that the chain of the finish line is set and they know perfectly well that their end is near… Suddenly, the imposing mare «Paloma» runs to line up next to the horse «Pinto», and with the sum of their strength they manage to break the chain, saving the lives of the Camarena brothers. That moment was the motivation to follow a dream, Tequila Carrera.

REPOSADO

Nose: nice agave and light cinnamon, vanilla and caramel. Has a nice fruitiness on it.

Flavor: vanilla, hint of caramel.

Other: Toasted barrels, good mixer, an everyday sipper.

Made from gently pressed Grenache grapes in the classic Old World style, the 2022 Rosé presents a pretty pale flamingo hue with scintillating aromas of fresh strawberry, guava, and honeysuckle. Subtle hyacinth and ginger notes are accompanied by cranberry, rhubarb, cherry blossom and lemon meringue. The palate is exquisitely balanced, displaying a lush, crisp juiciness with flavors of ripe strawberry, papaya, nectarine and mandarin orange. Hints of spiced peach, mango and watermelon are complemented by red delicious apple, kiwi, apricot and honeydew melon, all cascading into a clean, refreshing finish.
