Chairman’s Reserve Limited Edition 1931 is a tribute to the rum philosophy and craft established by our founder, Denis Barnard, when he established his distillery in 1931, which has become today one of Saint Lucia’s most cherished treasures, St. Lucia Distillers.

BLEND AND MATURATION: A seamless blend of Coffey and pot still rums aged from 6 to 11 years in Bourbon and Port casks. The majority of the 1931 blend comes from traditional molasses rum, while the hidden spunk of the spirit is influenced by the inclusion of Lucian agricultural rum produced from fresh sugarcane growing in the fields adjacent to the distillery.

TASTING NOTES: Vibrant medium gold in color with a subtle bronze hue, the character of the rum is highlighted by the expressive aromas of honied raisins and vibrant toasty oak notes followed by hints of leather, spice and tobacco. A well-balanced mid-palate provides structure around flavors of rich sultana fruit with hints of crème caramel and buttery oak. At first a sweet raisin fruit, trailed by dry and tannic flavors from the oak barrels. A hint of grassy aromatic sweetness from the sugarcane distillate gives a unique, hedonistic but balanced element to finish of the rum.

TASTING NOTES

The opening palate begins soft, with rich raisin fruit and a hint of honey and vanilla spice from aging. Medium-bodied with ripe sultana fruit, vanilla from the oak, and a hint of spice. Balanced and clean with a pleasurable lengthy finish. 

BOUNTY Premium White is clean with a silky mouthfeel, making it an ideal mixing rum. It has been aged two years in oak giving it soft tannins from the wood before being carbon filtered to remove the color extracted from the oak.

RUM BLEND

100% column still rum, aged 2 years in ex-Bourbon casks. The wood colors are filtered after blending.

TASTING NOTES

Clean with fresh tropical citrus on the nose. Flavors of marshmallow and lime zest on the palate mingle with a crème brûlée on the finish. 

BOUNTY Premium Dark is lush and chewy from the extra body of the pot still rum which delivers a pleasing punchy character. Though it is slightly higher proof (86) than the rest of the range, BOUNTY Premium Dark maintains a signature silky mouthfeel and a long smooth finish with radiant splendor. 

RUM BLEND

A unique blend of column and pot distilled rum aged two to three years in ex-Bourbon casks.

TASTING NOTES

Chocolate, hazelnut, and toffee are accentuated by hints of cinnamon and tobacco. The long enjoyable finish features a delightful display of caramelized sugar and brown butter. 

BOUNTY Spiced is an infusion of vanilla and cinnamon with macerated bark of richeria grandis locally known as “Bois Bande.” The bark’s potent qualities give the aged rum an exotic and authentic “Lucian” spiced rum experience.

Two-year aged column still rum macerated with all natural local Lucian spices.

TASTING NOTES

A sweet spiced nose with vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon leads to honeyed raisins and an explosion of vanilla and nutmeg on the palate. All-natural local ingredients make this an authentic Lucian spiced rum.

The Officer's Releases is a limited edition series that pays tribute to Admiral Rodney, a well-recognized British naval officer who distinguished himself in 1782 during one of the most memorable battles in the Caribbean, "The Battle of the Saintes". The first edition of the series, Admiral Rodney Officer's Releases N°. 1, is an artful blend in the tradition of Saint Lucian rum. This limited edition is distilled and matured in the tropical climate of Saint Lucia and expertly composed by Master Blender Evanius Harris.

DISTILLATION

Admiral Rodney Officer's Releases n ° 1 begins with rums extracted from the lowest extraction plate of ou r "Coffey Still", allowing for a magnificent body and balance of aromas that intensify and become more complex during aging.

AGING

The rum was placed into ex-Bourbon oak casks in 2006 and matured for 13 years, fol lowed by a finishing period in ex-Port barrels for 9 months.

TASTING NOTES

Bright mahogany hue in the glass. On the nose, there is an exotic combination of dried prunes, spicy vanilla, and toasted oak. The palate is intense with candied fruit, dark chocolate, licorice, and tobacco. The integrated oak gives definition and balance to an extended complex finish.

One top of the Bounty white rum, natural lime sugars and flavors are macerated with the rum at high strength. The rum is then diluted with distilled water and sugar to create BOUNTY Lime.
