Minke Vodka is a luxuriously smooth Pot Still Vodka.

Distilled from Whey alcohol in our Minke Copper Pot Still, it can be enjoyed neat, with your favourite mixer, or in your favourite vodka cocktail.

Minke Irish Vodka scooped the Gold Award in the Smooth category at The Spirits Business Vodka Masters 2021 and was commended by judges for having a smooth taste, “with a nice creaminess and a good balance”. It was also noted by the panel for being “soft with a touch of peppery spice notes”.

HOW TO ENJOY MINKE VODKA

The luxuriously smooth vodka can be sipped easily or enjoyed over ice with a splash of tonic and a wedge of lime.

Elegant and refined, Minke Vodka is perfect in a cocktail. The signature smoothness imparts its velvety mouthfeel and texture to any creative concoction. Without overpowering the other flavours, the vodka simply compliments them, adding a silky sensation with every sip.

Barrell Bourbon Batch 033 is a marriage of high-rye barrels and high-corn barrels ranging in age from 5 to 9 years old. The high-rye barrels were chosen for their distinct stone fruit, black pepper, and nutmeg notes. The high-corn barrels were chosen for their rich butterscotch, coffee, and citrus notes. Two sets of barrels mingled together for two months, then the balance was adjusted for the most optimal combination.

FLAVOR NOTES

Barrell Bourbon Batch 033 displays all the complexity of a blend of different distillates given time to blossom. Barrel character adds some diverse leafy notes at the margins without an overabundance of extractive woody or spice notes.

Appearance: Citrine set in yellow gold.

​Nose: Pear, lemon meringue, and shoofly pie set the stage for a bourbon deftly balanced between freshness and maturity. A bouquet of jasmine, nasturtium, and dandelion speak to a youthful exuberance, while peppermint and gentian root depict an oak barrel just creeping in. A gentle savory character expands into edamame, macadamia nut, and mesquite smoke.

​Palate: Champagne, applesauce, and candied grapefruit peel show ample maturity without an excessive oak. The baking spice character is dialed up slightly, exhibiting cocoa powder, allspice, star anise, and juniper.

​Finish: A burst of heat rides a wave of minerals across the palate that include limestone, beach sand, and salt-water taffy. Geranium, elderflower, and chamomile reinforce the nose’s bouquet. The finish fades to the slightly bitter prickle of returning gentian root and lime peel, wiping the palate clean.

The palate grows much more viscous; it’s rich and sweet with vanilla buttercream. The savory notes intensify, with pickled caper, fried mushroom and hush puppies leading the way. The fruity notes expand dramatically to include nectarine, honeydew melon, passionfruit, and coconut cream.

The History

Father Juan de San Miguel, a Franciscan missionary born in Spain, founded the original Indian settlement in 1542 and named it San Miguel Viejo after his patron saint. By the end of the 16th century, San Miguel was a booming town, flourishing with agriculture, ranching and tanneries. It was then renamed San Miguel el Grande.

Heroes of the Independence

The heroes of Mexico’s independence movement were born in San Miguel el Grande, including General Ignacio Allende, Father Miguel Hidalgo, José Marino and Juan Aldama. On March 8, 1826, the Guanajuato state government honored Allende’s heroism by renaming San Miguel El Grande to San Miguel de Allende.

The first tequila rested exclusively in Mizunara casks, a rare oak native to Japan, traditionally used for aging Japanese whiskies, Casa Dragones Reposado Mizunara, 100% Blue Agave Reposado tequila; This delicately rested tequila perfectly balances the minerality of our agave with the light notes of Japanese oak, for a refined, elegant sweetness that defies the ordinary.

OUR STORY

Belle Glos showcases distinctive Pinot Noirs produced from California’s most noteworthy coastal wine-growing regions.

While each vineyard location lies near the Pacific Ocean, the climate differences are significant, varying with the amount of fog, wind, sunlight, and soil type at each site. Each Vineyard Designate is crafted to distill the purest essence of the locale into elegant expressions of California Pinot Noir.

Owner/winemaker, Joe Wagner chose the name Belle Glos (pronounced “BELL GLOSS”) to honor his grandmother, Lorna Belle Glos Wagner. Lorna was a co-founder of Caymus Vineyards, an inspirational figure to Joseph and an avid lover of Pinot Noir.

Scarlet red in color with an aromatic medley of gooseberry, raspberry, and cranberry with hints of ginger, black pepper, and shaved milk chocolate. Dark fruit on the palate with flavors of wild berries, milk chocolate, toffee, black cherry, and ground nutmeg. Rich and structured, this wine has beautiful acidity that lingers through to a long, mouthwatering finish.

A well-rounded, approachable mezcal for those finding their way in the mezcal category.

We work closely with local, family-owned farms in Jalisco, Mexico to bring you the smoothest, most natural, and best tasting tequila possible. Only the highest quality ingredients are used in its creation.

The area code 818 is home to me, but the earth is home to all of us. So, from the agaves we grow, to the production of the bottle, sustainability and transparency of our supply chain was our core focus. We feel a great sense of responsibility and pride to have a positive impact on  individuals, communities, and the environment. We've had so many magical nights drinking 818 and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

This Anejo Reserve began with an ambitious goal: to become one of the greatest tequilas ever crafted. In the heart of Jalisco, Mexico, 818’s Master Tequileros used their decades of expertise and passion to develop Eight Reserve by 818.

What emerged is a painstakingly crafted blend, bringing a level of complexity, softness and depth rarely experienced in tequila. The result is an elegant expression that is incredibly smooth and rich.
