Every now and then, Garrison Brothers releases one of the most highly-coveted bourbon whiskies in America: Cowboy Bourbon. This was the American Whiskey of the Year in Jim Murray’s 2014 & 2017 Whisky Bibles. It’s the ultimate ambrosia. Unlike the Small Batch, Cowboy Bourbon comes from Dan and Donnis’ favorite barrels. They’re set aside for a couple of years for further maturation and the liquid is bottled at cask-strength, uncut and unfiltered.

The US Bottled-In-Bond Act of 1897 was an important turning point in the history of bourbon and set forth exacting standards that offered consumers a guarantee of transparency, process, and quality. Specifically, it stipulated that the whiskey must be the product of one distilling season, from one distillery, aged in a federally bonded warehouse for at least four years and bottled at 100 proof. One Hundred and Twenty Three years later, this designation continues to offer those same guarantees, providing consumers with the knowledge of where, how, and when the Bourbon was harvested, crafted and aged

We honor Bertie with a distinctive and wonderful 4yr Texas bourbon out of Central Texas and then we perfect it in Montana by proofing it with the same pure Rocky Mountain Water Bertie would have used 100 years ago.

Saint Liberty Whiskey continues its celebration and honoring the untold stories of pioneering, Prohibition-era bootleggers, with our second bootlegger in the series, Josephine Doody. Josephine is still to this day known as the Bootleg lady of Glacier Park in Montana. We honor her with an exclusive lot of Straight Rye out of Tennessee, which is then perfected with the same pure Rocky Mountain water that she would have used 100 years ago.

Texas- Four Grain Bourbon from Texas, finished in Colorado with pure Rocky Mountain water. The nose is inviting with notes of caramelized vanilla, dried apricots, and allspice. The palate is warm with cinnamon, brown sugar, black tea & butterscotch for a delightful creamy-smooth finish.

The Original Wheated Bourbon Whiskey features an exceptionally smooth taste, substituting wheat for rye grain. Bottled at 90 proof, this bourbon stands out with its burnt orange color. Its softer flavor notes make this bourbon great for sipping or making cocktails.

Bulleit Bourbon is inspired by the whiskey pioneered by an old family recipe over 150 years ago. Only ingredients of the very highest quality are used. The subtlety and complexity of Bulleit Bourbon come from its unique blend of rye, corn, and barley malt, along with special strains of yeast and pure Kentucky limestone filtered water. KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

In 1773, three McAfee Brothers named James, George and Robert left Virginia westward to explore the uncharted territory that would later become known as Kentucky. Traveling by canoe at first, the McAfee Company eventually followed a native trail overland that led to the great buffalo crossing, where the brothers surveyed the land now home to the world’s most award-winning distillery – Buffalo Trace Distillery. The surveyor marks left behind are known as benchmarks and this bourbon whiskey honors the pioneering spirits of these early American explorers.

TASTING NOTES

The nose bears caramel notes with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop. A robust and sturdy palate with some fine leather notes mingling with dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries. The finish is smooth and calming.

Enjoy the following cocktail recipe:

6 mint leaves
5 fresh Bing cherries, pitted
1 tbsp (22 g) simple syrup
Crushed ice
3 oz (90 ml) Evan Williams Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Place 5 mint leaves, 4 cherries and simple syrup in a silver julep cup and gently muddle. Add your crushed ice followed by your bourbon. Give a shake and garnish it with a sprig of mint and 1 cherry.

Our Master Distiller transformed used bourbon barrels into small, wooden cubes that were immersed in honey. After fully absorbing it, they were placed in the belly of a stainless-steel tank, letting the bourbon soak up those delicious honey flavors every single day for seven months.

Rated 90 in Whisky Advocate - Taconic Distillery's Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is the product of a collaboration with Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse. Freshly dumped Bourbon barrels are sent to Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse who fills them with their New York Grade A Organic Maple Syrup. After a few months of aging, the barrel aged maple syrup is bottled and sold. Those same barrels are then immediately refilled with bourbon. After a few months of soaking up the sweetness, the annual release of their Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is produced. 

The initial sweetness lingers with the earthiness of the barrels, resulting in a slightly sweet butteriness which is unmistakable.

Aged a minimum of 5 years at 90 proof.
