Duke Grand Cru Reserve Rye whiskey marries the classic and powerful flavors of aged Kentucky rye with the finest French Oak Grand Cru wine barrels in the world. This rye is meticulously crafted and then delicately rests in these barrels, leading to an incredible balance of flavors while extracting the subtle nuances of the French oak and years of Cabernet infusion. The rye is then moved to rest in a second French oak wine barrel, which has been graced by both a world-class Cabernet and our 9-year-old Kentucky Straight bourbon. Excelsior, New York’s state motto, means “Ever Upwards,” and our Excelsior Straight Bourbon is made exclusively from Hudson Valley grains, and then aged in a New York-coopered barrel of Hudson Valley oak. The Bottled-in-Bond release of the Excelsior Straight Bourbon fulfills our mission of creating spirits of historic significance.

The Bottled in Bond Act of 1897 was one of the first consumer protection laws in the United States, and mandates (among other things) that the whisky be made, aged, and bottled by the  distillery on the label.

As with all of Coppersea’s “Heritage Methods Distilled” products, we mash Excelsior Bourbon Bottled In-Bond in open-top fermenters for additional local terroir, twice-distill in True Fire Copper, direct-fired simple alembic stills, and barrel age our spirits at the ultra-low proof of 105.

This full round Bourbon bears aromas and notes of fig, apricot, sweet ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and caramel.

The award-winning Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited-release whiskey inspired by the passion and craftsmanship of the legendary Stitzel-Weller distillery. Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old was most recently aged and bottled at Stitzel-Weller Smooth and smoky, this limited-release bourbon’s taste is accented with notes of torched sugar and apples baked in honey and spices. Its aroma is one of toasted oak mixed with vanilla bean, fig and just a touch of caramel. Blade and Bow 22-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey was named the “Best Straight Bourbon” and received the DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL at the 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Due to the highly allocated nature of Blade & Bow 22-Year-Old, we are not able to provide guidance on exactly where it can be found.

We age this Kentucky straight bourbon in new, charred white oak barrels for seven years and bottle it at barrel strength. Seven just became your lucky number.

TASTING NOTES: Sweet floral notes with undertones of vanilla, cinnamon, and fine wood, ending in a warm, buttery finish.

GEORGE T. STAGG KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

George T. Stagg built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, during a time known as the Gilded Age of Bourbon. Uncut and unfiltered, this robust bourbon whiskey ages for nearly a decade and boasts the bold character that is reminiscent of the man himself.

Joseph Magnus Bourbon is the result of combining straight bourbon whiskey, matured in white oak barrels, with a finish in Oloroso sherry, Pedro Ximénez, and Cognac casks. No other bourbon today can stand 20 years of aging, but this bourbon does it with style. “Pappy” Van Winkle was a true character. This bourbon, like “Pappy,” is full of personality that makes it a very special whiskey, and some might argue, one of our best bourbons. It has been put in the class of a fine after-dinner cognac.

Garrison Brothers Laguna Madre - Garrison Brothers Laguna Madre Limousin Oak-Immersed Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a limited release, highly sought-after bourbon whiskey. For the lucky few able to get their hands on a bottle, treasure it and enjoy it with the ones you love on the most special occasions. After all, it took eight years to make – Garrison Brothers' oldest bourbon to date.

The moment you pour Black Button Single Barrel Finished in Port Casks, you’ll notice its extremely deep color and you're instantly made aware that this is a finished bourbon. The resulting sip is very complex yet unfortunately also flawed. While the nose kicks things off with rich complex flavors and the palate is full of spice (almost to a fault), the finish is tannic and dry, ending what could have been a great sip on a disappointing note. That said, if you can look past the finish, this is one of the more complex port finished bourbons I’ve encountered, and also one of the few cask strength ones at that.

Old Forester 150th Anniversary Bourbon honours George Garvin Brown’s original process, and represents a collaboration between Master Distiller Chris Morris and Master Taster Jackie Zykan.

Between 6 to 8 years old, this expression consists of 150 barrels chosen specially by Chris, made from wood seasoned 150 days. Jackie then personally tasted and batched all 150 barrels (minus the angels share) into three very distinct flavour profiles and proof points showcasing the taste variations among barrels depending on where they rest in the Old Forester barrelhouses. The bourbon is presented in an amber glass bottle, reminiscent of the hand-blown glass of George’s day and sealed in a commemorative keepsake canister.

Copper Tongue hails from the historic Cascade Hollow Distillery in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The distillery is nestled in a valley with a spring-fed creek in an area known for it's population of copperhead snakes. Cascade Hollow's single story rickhouses, which draw inspiration from traditional Scottish barrel storage, are rather unique in the United States and help impart a special character to the aging whiskeys. Copper Tongue has a surprising mellowness uncommon of a cask strength 16-year-old straight bourbon whiskey. Aromas of almond and toffee give way to reveal a delicate floral perfume. the palate offers a surprising softness with juicy bursts of candied orange and hints of cedar that carry through to the long finish.

A masterful union of three well-bred bourbons. One, a 14-year extra-aged ryed bourbon. Two, an 8-year ryed bourbon. And three, another 8-year ryed bourbon, finished in sauternes wine casks from the Bordeaux region of France for a balance of sweetness with additional spice.

Each year as part of the Parker's Heritage Collection, we select a special whiskey to be released in the name of our late Master Distiller Parker Beam. The barrels selected for this series include Bourbon, Rye, and Wheat Whiskeys, among others, and are some of the finest and most diverse American Whiskeys ever produced. They are a fitting tribute to the expertise of Parker Beam.The 14th edition of Parker's Heritage Collection features Heaven Hill’s traditional rye Bourbon mashbill, aged in specialty barrels that were charred for a full minute and a half, as opposed to our traditional 40 seconds. These "Level 5" barrels were aged for a full 10 years, where the heavier char allowed the Bourbon to penetrate further into the barrel, bringing forth caramel and maple sweetness. These 102 barrels were aged on the sixth floor of rickhouse Y, and developed a pleasant smokiness after 40 Kentucky seasons of maturation. It is bottled without chill filtration at 120 proof.

Calumet Farm Single Rack Black 15 Year Old Bourbon Whiskey is the pinnacle of the Calumet Farm Bourbon family. It represents the premium quality our brand is known for, as well as the hard-earned badge of patience. Allowing our bourbon to age slowly in Kentucky-only rick houses is a testament to doing things the right way - the way bourbon should be done. All barrels used to craft these rare batches are aged in a single, center cut rack. This expression of the Calumet Farm Bourbon family is our most aged and highest proof to date. It is Non-Chill Filtered for added depth of character and color.
