Our distillers hand-picked the highest quality barrels to blend a Straight Bourbon Whiskey guaranteed to warm the heart and soothe the soul. At 100 proof, J.J. Pfister Bourbon is a superb blend of 4 and 5 year aged barrels, with no less than 3 char.

TASTING NOTES

Our blended Straight Bourbon Whiskey offers a powerful nose of allspice, dark caramel, black pepper, and saddle leather – juxtaposed with fragrant floral notes of dark violet. The palate is a favorable balance of sweet and savory with a touch of spice – with notes of dark butter scotch, cocoa, cherry, and chocolate. The spice of Bourbon will follow through the long, warm finish with welcomed additions of honeyed oak, vanilla, black pepper, and turned earth.

Maker Notes

Our Chocolate Bourbon is created by cold macerating Dandelion Chocolate nibs with Treecraft Bourbon.  We selected Dandelion’s Costa Esmeraldas nibs from northern Equador because they have the taste of chocolate buttercream frosting with bananas creating a perfect balance of flavors.

On the Nose: butterscotch, fig, and nutmeg

On the Palate: smooth salted caramel transitions into smoky charred oak, leather, and warm baking spices, accented with a hint of tobacco

KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKEY

In 1773, three McAfee Brothers named James, George and Robert left Virginia westward to explore the uncharted territory that would later become known as Kentucky. Traveling by canoe at first, the McAfee Company eventually followed a native trail overland that led to the great buffalo crossing, where the brothers surveyed the land now home to the world’s most award-winning distillery – Buffalo Trace Distillery. The surveyor marks left behind are known as benchmarks and this bourbon whiskey honors the pioneering spirits of these early American explorers.

TASTING NOTES

The nose bears caramel notes with a delicate stone-fruit backdrop. A robust and sturdy palate with some fine leather notes mingling with dry tobacco, a touch of oak and a hint of dried cherries. The finish is smooth and calming.

The nose is sweet with hints of vanilla and caramel. The taste is well balanced and completes the palate. The balance from the blend of different char levels of barrels smooths the edges of the bourbon creating a full bodied experience from start to finish.

Our Discovery Series has quickly gained a reputation for showcasing exquisite, innovative blends. Series #9 takes the spirit of discovery further by uncovering rare barrels of craft Georgia bourbon with a unique, elegant flavor. The blend is structured around this distinctive profile, adding classic Kentucky bourbon, 17-yr. Tennessee Whiskey, and a touch of sweetness from Canada. It is a combination of tradition and forward-thinking, large-scale and craft. The elements fold into one another remarkably, creating a robust, vibrant, one-of-a-kind pour.

A decadent bouquet of cocoa nib, plum, and cedar box is highlighted by lively orange peel. Vanilla cream with cinnamon spice takes the lead on the palate, building to an indulgent, sublime finish.

The second release in our Founders Reserve series highlights a collection of 15 year old American Light Whiskey barrels distilled from corn at Seagrams Indiana in 2008. Aged in 2nd fill oak barrels, this amazing spirit brings out savory vanilla notes with a hint of cinnamon and creme brûlée. This 15 year old American Light Whiskey is bottled at cask strength.

The new Dickel Bourbon Aged 18 Years is a bourbon that has been aged in charred oak barrels and blended to perfection. Hailing from the quiet hills of Cascade Hollow, the long aging process in our single-story rickhouses imparted Dickel Bourbon 18 Year Old with mellow yet complex flavors including deep notes of crème brulée and stone fruit.

This whiskey presents a subtle aroma of oak and spice with a taste of deep caramel, vanilla and a hint of citrus orange, delivering a soft, lingering finish of caramel, vanilla & light oak.

This whiskey presents an exceptionally rich flavor and incredibly smooth finish.  With an aroma of toasted oak and a taste of caramel, forward vanilla and slight char, this straight Tennessee bourbon finishes long, smooth & soft. The primary factor that distinguishes a Tennessee whiskey from a traditional Bourbon whiskey is the Lincoln County Process. This process steeps the whiskey in maple sugar-infused charcoal chips before it enters the cask. The result is a complex aroma and slight char, and the process beautifully mellows the whiskey.

This single-barrel whiskey was distilled according to the "Lincoln County" tradition of filtering the spirit through charcoal before aging, presenting an exceptionally rich flavor and incredibly smooth finish.

Southern Reserve Bourbon: Amber in appearance. Caramelized sugar and vanilla melt into a soft wheat. It finishes with a sweet honey profile.

TASTING NOTES

NOSE: Raisin, dried fig, clove, toffee, marshmallow, crème brûlée, and leather combine to create a magnificently complex aroma.

PALATE: On the palate, indulgent notes of fruit cake, plum, bananas foster, and sherry meld with charred oak and cacao beans.

FINISH: The finish begins with a burst of dark fruit and oak followed by long enduring notes of dried cherry, raisin, and seasoned oak.

Unblended and perfectly handcrafted straight whiskeys, made grain-to-glass using local north Texas grain. Each of our UNBENDT Straight Whiskeys has been aged a minimum of four years in standard 53 gallon bourbon barrels, resulting in rich, flavorful and unique authentic Texas whiskey. Every drop is made in small batches at BENDT Distilling Co. in Lewisville, Texas.

Made using local north Texas grain and made grain-to-glass at BENDT Distilling Co. in Lewisville, Texas, this beautiful whiskey has been slow-aged in the volatile Texas climate for over five and a half years. The grain bill includes local Denton County Yellow Dent Corn, Texas Elbon Rye, and 2-Row Malted Barley. Aged 5+ years in a 53 gallon standard bourbon barrel at a 3.5 char level.

The Whiskey Row Series’ 1924 10 – Year – Old is a limited annual release celebrating another milestone in Old Forester’s storied history.

During Prohibition, more than 200 distilleries were forced to close. Old Forester, however, continued operations because the federal government issued us one of six medicinal licenses, P-3. In 1924, Old Forester acquired barrels from closed distillers, with different mash bills, and bottled that liquid as Old Forester. This release commemorates that moment in time.

TASTING NOTES

AROMA: Soft notes of fudge, cocoa, marzipan, and cured tobacco layered over hints of rich oak and warm cinnamon.

TASTE: Chocolate covered graham cracker dusted with cinnamon.

FINISH: Hints of spice and graham cracker crumbles.
