Rare Cask Releases

Since 1875, Glenglassaugh distillery has sat quietly on the edge of the picturesque Sandend Bay, breathing in the North Sea air which flows through its warehouses and invigorates its sweet Highland spirit with notes of the sea. Silent for a period of more than 20 years, the distillery was re-awakened in 2008 and its stills brought back to life. Unearthed from the coastal warehouses, a rare collection of vintage casks were discovered from before the distillery fell quiet.

These forgotten whiskies can now be experienced as part of our Glenglassaugh rare cask series. Glenglassaugh rare casks are a discovery to be made, each cask telling its own story. All casks are bottled without chill filtration, for natural character, with the pure colour drawn entirely from the wood of the cask.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh, fruity, fragrant orange peel aroma. Well-balanced combination of zesty peel & juicy orange citrus fruits followed by sweet vanilla whiskey. Distinctively orange, with woody characteristics on finish.

Taste: Delicate, smooth and full mouthfeel with distinctive orange zest notes and spicy, nutty, sweet vanilla undertones.

Finish: Clean finish with a sweet orange aftertaste.

Our leading brand, which is the key focus of our company, is our internationally-acclaimed Raw Cask whisky. These are whiskies from the old school, as they would have been drawn from a cask behind a bar in Scotland back in the 1800s. This was before whisky was chill filtered or heavily filtered – a process which removes a lot of the naturally-occurring oils and esters from the whisky, which is where the flavours are held. To prove that we do not filter our Raw Cask whiskies, you will discover some of the cask sediment in every bottle – this is our assurance of its completely natural and ‘raw’ state. It is the King of Single Casks!

Maker's Mark 46 is made by taking fully matured Maker's Mark Bourbon at cask strength and inserting specially seared French oak staves into the barrels. The bourbon finishes aging for a few months before bottling. The French oak staves selected from the Independent Stave Company were named "Stave Profile No. 46," hence the name. When Maker's Mark 46 first launched in 2010, it was the brand’s first extension for Maker’s Mark. This Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength originally was only available at the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky for purchase. However, to mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of the brand, Maker's Mark has released this to a wider audience.

The nose is inviting with vanilla and maple notes along with a light herbal aroma. The char smoke is gentle. As you taste, the French oak staves become noticeable in the bourbon with a gentle toasted flavor. This adds a nice spiced element to the bourbon, which is soft on the palate.

BCS Gray Label Seagrass is born from 16-year-old Canadian Rye barrels, divided into two distinct profiles – one with citrus and green apple notes, the other with spearmint. Some from each group undergo unique finishes in Apricot Brandy, Martinique rhum, and Malmsey Madeira casks. The final blend marries these flavors when they peak during secondary maturation. This deeply mature rye whiskey boasts a classic grassy aroma with fresh Rhum Agricole notes. On the palate, the oily rye meets nutty madeira character and apricot brandy brightness, concluding with maritime minerality.

Appearance: Rich golden straw.

Nose: Rye spices, toast, and Rhum Agricole's grassy notes, with oak expressions of tobacco and coffee.

Palate: Extremely oily with peanut, coconut, and tea tree oils, evolving into creaminess with soy milk. Notes of lemonade and sunflower seeds nod to the madeira barrels.

Finish: Apricot brandy casks bring passionfruit and plum, while minerality combines with chalk dust, flint, paraffin, and cedar smoke.

The Kentucky Owl St. Patrick’s Limited Edition is a blend of Kentucky Straight Bourbons varying in age from 4 – 8 years old each coming in with their own unique flavor characteristics.

Rich caramel and vanilla from some more rare well aged Bourbons. Spice and fruit from Bourbons with a higher rye content, and a feel of sweetness and citrus from Wheated Bourbon. All carefully mingled to bring out a robust, well balanced Bourbon experience.​

The Cream of Kentucky brand was originally introduced in 1888 by I. Trager & Co. of Cincinnati, Ohio. Just prior to the end of Prohibition, the brand was acquired by the famed Schenley Company and subsequently re-introduced in 1934. Through the 1930s and 1940s Cream of Kentucky grew to become one of the leading bourbon brands, with renowned artist Norman Rockwell provided much of the award winning artwork for the brand during its heyday. Cream of Kentucky is now owned by J.W. Rutledge, and Jim has recently purchased a limited supply of Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey he feels is worthy of the rebirth of Cream of Kentucky Bourbon as a premium whiskey.

The Fusion Series celebrates the blending of newer and older bourbons to create something unique. The younger spirits are 100% our own product mellowed with hand- selected, supremely aged bourbon that beautifully complements our specific recipes. As we grow, our bourbon ages — a difference you can taste with each Fusion release.

Baked apples with toffee, walnut, and cinnamon lead to luscious maple with vibrant spice. Our richest Fusion blend to date unfolds with a signature smooth finish.

Maker Notes

Cabernet Cask Reserve is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged for four years in new charred American oak barrels, then perfected in luxury California Cabernet Sauvignon casks. The finish is smooth and smoky, with a taste of rich oak and vanilla out front, a hint of dark fruit on the backbeat, followed by a clean and smooth finish.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Distinct candy apple, with a dry cornhusk note easing into very light creme brulee.

PALATE: Smooth and smoky taste of rich oak and vanilla out front, a hint of dark fruit on the backbeat.

FINISH: Clean and smooth finish.

This Butter Pecan Sippin' Cream gives off a smooth aroma of toasted praline and vanilla. The buttery, toasted pecan flavor rounds out into a lingering brle aftertaste satisfying even the most demanding sweet tooth. Mix this sippin cream with brown sugar, dates, bacon, vanilla, espresso beans, pralines and blackberry for maximum flavor.  Made from 100% American malted barley, this single malt whiskey ages a minimum of two years in new American oak barrels and is enhanced with Cooperstown Distillery’s own proprietary oak and barrel finishing process. Canton Distillery (Brand) Bourbon in a Football Decanter

Our award winning, premium bourbon whiskey housed in a uniquely designed and patented football decanter bottle, each is individually blown and formed in the shape of an actual professional football, right down to the laces on the glass ball. Every bottle includes a pigskin replica stopper and sits on a raised pedestal base (all one molded piece), which is a quintessential depiction of an actual football field, complete with the yard lines and end zones. The perfect holiday or special occasion gift for the gridiron fan in all of us.

All are 750 ml bottles. A blend of select young and older, more complex bourbons, the two distinctive styles were hand-selected and chosen for their individual character and flavor profile. This bourbon finishes on the palate with caramel and butterscotch, rounded out with a layer of sweet toffee.

Housed in a uniquely designed and patented football decanter, each bottle is individually blown and formed in the shape of a professional football, right down to the laces on the glass ball. This young, American whiskey is blended several times with our proprietary, accelerated aging process which includes oak staves and used bourbon barrels. This American whiskey is a bourbon style mash bill of corn, rye, and barley. An extremely graceful style, this blended whiskey has subtle hints of allspice and finishes with strong notes of vanilla and sweet caramel.
