Perro de San Juan Green Label Cirial Mezcal is a distinctive expression highlighting the Cirial agave variety. With earthy and herbal notes, this mezcal captures the authentic flavors of its terroir. In 1897, Frederick Durant and Willis and Joseph Booth formed a partnership and took over the Oakville Mercantile & General Store at the Oakville Crossroads. By 1904, the sale of the store and the Victorian home was finalized and Durant and Joseph Booth moved in. Over the next several years, they transformed the destination into a grocery store for the Napa Valley. Today, the historic family home stands at the gateway of one of the unsurpassed wine regions of the world and the home is one of the finest homes from the era.

THE VINTAGE
2020 kicked off with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warm to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest started in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Harvested in the cool morning hours from valley floor vineyards across Napa Valley, the grapes were hand sorted and underwent extended maceration before aging in a combination of bourbon and American oak barrels. Bourbon barrels have a heavier toast which imparts a light smoky note on the nose and highlights the characteristics that are synonymous with the spirit. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, dark red in the glass and opens with aromas dark cherry and plum that spring from the glass. This is a full-bodied wine, filled with flavors of blackberry, cherry, caramel and spice. Aged in Bourbon barrels, flavors of brown sugar, sweet vanilla, baking spice and hints of toasted oak are textured throughout the palate. Balanced with fine-grained tannins, the finish is long and smooth.

Kilkerran Single Malt is produced at Glengyle Distillery. Glengyle is an independent, family run distillery based in Campbeltown, the historic whisky capital of the world. The name Kilkerran is derived from the Gaelic, “Ceann Loch Cille Chiarain” which is the name of the original settlement where Saint Kieran had his religious cell and Campbeltown now stands. Glengyle now produces a range of Kilkerran Single Malt whiskies, all natural in colour and non-chill filtered. All our whisky characterises typical Campbeltown drams; rich, complex and perfectly balanced.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: A floral element, reminiscent of elderflower and heather, introduces this dram. There are notes of vanilla and custard creams and a confectionery note akin to foam bananas.

Palate: Notes of cocoa nibs and Iberico ham are introduced on the palate, paired an earthy peat smoke influence. The development of a tropical note comes through in hints of pineapple and coconut.

Finish: The peat smoke lingers in the finish along with a digestive biscuit note.

Licor 43 Crème Brûlée is the delicious fusión of Licor 43 Original and Crème Brûlée with the surprising touch of salted caramel.

COLOUR: Licor 43 Crème Brûlée is a light-yellow cream liqueur, with a subtle orange tint.

AROMA: Its aroma and flavour evoke memories of traditional desserts. The botanical and citrus tones of Licor 43 are harmoniously combined with the salty caramel, further enhacing the vanilla. This way, the distinct dessert taste is brought to life!

TASTE: Upon sipping it, the silky and creamy texture gives way to the complex aromas, revealing the botanical aromas and citrus fruit notes that are mixed with the vanilla and toasted sugar, not to mention a surprising final dash of salted caramel.

A true testament to our legendary lineup of fine Extra Anejos, the Especial De Rouge is a  masterpiece in its own right. Beginning with our award-winning 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave El Platino Blanco, we age this deliciously delicate and sweet tequila in fine-crafted French oak barrels previously used to host one of the world's most famous French Cognacs, Grand Marnier. We await an entire decade for the aging process to take hold, measuring the content religiously month by month, to ensure the essence of both the mild oak and buttery orange blossom notes take hold of the tequila.

TASTING NOTES

This tequila yields notes of buttercream, toffee, caramel, and vanilla up front with a deliciously smooth oaky, and cocoa mid-pallet, followed by a timid and gratifying orange blossom, roasted nuts, and sweet agave finish.

TASTING NOTES

Color: Golden sands.

Nose: Aromas of warm citrus, tropical fruit, and sweet malty flour are immediate on the nose. As the whisky opens the sweetness of the fruit, oak and malted Bere barley combine to give an uplifting, sunny feel to the dram, enhanced with fragrant peach skin, fresh vanilla pods, candied orange and creamy fudge. Over time, delicate floral notes of rose and subtle sweet violet appear.

Palate: On the palate, the presence of the malted grain is unmistakable with notes of popcorn, brown sugar and warm porridge. The Bere barley provides a soft, rounded mouthfeel, beautifully complementing the sweet, stoned fruit notes. Apricot, peach, melon and candied orange are balanced with the gentle influence of the oak, which adds a hint of vanilla, coconut and marzipan.

Finish: Milk chocolate, malted grain and crème brulee add to the soft finish, while a hint of mango and orange blossom honey linger.

Character: With each vintage of Bruichladdich Bere Barley has its own unique style. The spirit distilled from this ancient, genetically diverse grain stands apart, with the hardy character of the barley evident alongside the incredible amount of fruit and floral notes derived from a long fermentation and traditional distillation. Tequila Fortaleza is a small-batch, handcrafted tequila. It is made today with the same production methods that our family used to make tequila, over one hundred and forty years ago! We select each agave for ripeness before it is harvested, and cook them by steam in our small brick oven. We then use a two-ton stone wheel called a tahona to slowly squeeze the juices from the agave. After adding water from the volcanic mountain of Tequila and separating the fibers, we ferment the musto for 3 to 5 days. When fermentation is complete, we achieve our distinctive tequila by distilling twice in two very small, copper-pot stills.
