However, to complete our composition, we turned to an experimental parcel of single malt re-racked into Spanish orange wine casks for three years. FLAVOUR PROFILE

The gloriously waxy and citrusy nose is followed by forest honey and vanilla shortbread notes on the palate. Flavours of nutmeg, cardamom and chocolate intertwine in the long-lasting finish.

Distillery Information

E & J Gallo Winery is a winery and distributor headquartered in Modesto, California. It was founded in 1933 by Ernest Gallo and Julio Gallo, and is the largest exporter of California wines.

Situated along the banks of the East River, Kings County Distillery is New York City's oldest operating whiskey distillery and the first distillery in New York City since Prohibition. Wedged between Williamsburg and Vinegar Hill, Colin Spoelman and David Haskell, the master distillers at Kings County, make hand-crafted bourbon and moonshine out of the 113-year old Paymaster Building at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. A typewriter the two distillers found on the sidewalk in Williamsburg is used to make the labels that adorn their clear, flask-like bottles, while a hairdryer (made by Revlon) is used to affix each bottle seal. Handwritten scrawls on a chalkboard keep track of different batches, and mesh laundry bags are used as strainers. After milling and mashing the grains, the wash is slowly fermented at their distillery in blue tanks that resemble oil drums and then double-pot distilled. Haskell and Spoelman use the first alcohol produced from each batch the "head" as a disinfectant and sell the used mash to a pig farmer who uses it as feed. "I still don't understand why it doesn't make the pigs drunk," Haskell says. What is Peated Bourbon It's bourbon whiskey that conforms to the American requirements for bourbon but it incorporates malted barley that has been smoked with peat, a tradition common to some Scotch whiskeys. Made from 75% organic New York State corn, and 25% Scottish peated malt. Peated bourbon will definitely appeal to the adventurous whiskey traveler who has had a whiskey or two in their life. Aged for two summers (14 to 24 months) in a five-gallon charred, new oak barrels, Kings County Peated Bourbon Whiskey has an aroma of bonfire and juicy corn, which leads to notes of buttered toast, raisins and caramel on the palate. The finish is slightly smoky with hints of biscuits and more sweet corn. Now available in full 750 ml bottles.

After inheriting the family recipe in the late 1980s, Tom Bulleit set out to make his own version of the Bulleit Bourbon. "We have a distilling tradition in the family," says Bulleit. "It seems kind of odd that one would have a family recipe for bourbon, but in our part of Kentucky everyone has one." Today they produce a range of four Bourbons and one Rye Whiskey that have received numerous awards, and have become the Spirits of choice for cocktail drinkers around the world. Bulleit Ten Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is made from a mash of corn, rye and malted barley. After the grains are harvested, they are mashed and fermented with a unique strain of family yeast. Following fermentation, the wash is distilled through a copper-still before being matured in charred, American oak casks for a minimum of ten years. "I may be biased, but I think Bulleit Bourbon is incredible at its traditional age of five to eight years," says Bulleit. "But it was exciting to see what happened to a select number of barrels aged a little longer. The result was a special expression of our family's bourbon that exceeded our expectations and we knew we had to bottle it and share it with our loyal fans." Bulliet Ten Year Old Bourbon has a dark caramel color, along with an aroma of toasted oak, rich caramel and sweet fruits. The notes of woody spices, cloves and oak give way to hints of dried fruits, light vanilla and spicy rye on the palate, and lead to a long, slightly sweet finish. The bourbon earned a score of 92 points from the Beverage Testing Institute in 2013, and a score of 91 points from Wine Enthusiast. In addition, Forbes Magazine called it "one of the best bourbons." "There's a difference between aging and maturity, and we'll never bottle bourbon until it's ready to reach the customer," says Bulleit.

• 6-year-old column stilled Salvadoran rum produced by Licorera Cihuatán, a part of Ingenio La Cabaña of El Salvador, one of the largest and oldest sugar producers in the country established in 1920.

•Unaged pot stilled Jamaican rum produced by Worthy Park, Hampden and Monymusk distilleries. • 3-year-old Jamaican pot stilled rum produced by Worthy Park estate.

PROCESS

The rum begins its life from local sugar cane that is gathered and then run through a 100-year-old sugar cane mill to be turned into molasses. From molasses it undergoes fermentation with proprietary yeasts for 36 hours before being distilled by a modern multi-column still. After distillation the rum is aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels sitting alongside rums that The Licorera Cihuatán distillery has been producing since 2004.

TASTING NOTES

The palate brings notes of tropical fruit notes, but with a developing toasted warm spicy caramel flavor. Balanced with creamy milk chocolate, roasted almond and dried chewy apricot notes.

Patrn Reposado is aged for at least two months in a combination of new and used American, French and Hungarian oak barrels. This is done to maintain the fresh agave flavors unique to Patrn that mingle in perfect harmony with hints of light oak. Finally, subtle sweet smokiness from the aging process adds yet another dimension to this incredibly smooth aged tequila.

About the Brand

Hey there! We’re Mom Water, a fruit infused vodka water. That’s right, no bubbles — just pure still water (#drinkslikewater #notaseltzer). There’s also no sugar, no carbs, no artificial flavors or preservatives, and each drink is only 90 calories! We were created by Bryce and Jill Morrison, a southern Indiana couple in search of the perfect poolside drink that wasn’t loaded with sugar and could keep them feeling refreshed on a hot summer day. Jill was never a big seltzer fan or the bloating and headaches that followed after having a few, so she set out to create a light, non-carbonated alcoholic beverage.

After becoming a self-declared mixologist, Jill created a drink that was the perfect, all natural, sugar-free mix of tasty and boozy, and it didn’t take long for it to become a staple among her (and Bryce's!) friends. However, one of their kids accidentally grabbed one of Jill’s specially concocted water bottles from the cooler, so Bryce suggested she properly label them and Jill began to scribble "Mom" on the side. Since opening its doors in 2017, The Block Distilling Co. has focused half of its efforts on crafting premium whiskey. Glenallachie is situated in Banffshire, at the foot of Ben Rinnes, neighboring several other distilleries. Founded in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson Ltd Glenallachie is one of the youngest distilleries in Scotland. In 1989 Campbell Distillers acquired The GlenAllachie Distillery, starting production run that lasted for nearly 30 years. In 2017 Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson came together to acquire the GlenAllachie facility reincarnating the distillery as The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited. The highly anticipated core range of the GlenAllachie distillery from Speyside was finally launched in July 2018. The water for the distillery comes from the dam heads over 2 miles from the distillery. Henshead and Blackstank flow into Beachshach Burn, which supplies the water directly to the distillery, and sits on the North East of BenRinnes. The distillery was designed to be gravity fed, created with horizontal condensers that maintain a consistent temperature, or increase/decrease to alter the character of the spirit. Using a vast amount of aged stock that was obtained along with the distillery, dating back as far as the 1970's GlenAllachie Master Distiller Billy Walker has masterfully created a signature single malt. The most important release in the history of The GlenAllachie Distillers Company; GlenAllachie 12 Year Old, is the heart of their range, a landmark bottling, selected and bottled under the careful eye of Master Distiller Billy Walker. Earning a Gold medal at the 2019 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, this 12 year showcases whisky matured in Pedro Ximnez sherry, oloroso sherry, and virgin oak casks.

The Mezcal El Tinieblo Reposado is an ensemble of Espadin and Salmiana, two of the most treasured agave varieties in mezcal, aged in Kentucky Bourbon barrels for up to 11 months and bottled in unique hand blown glass. Mezcal El Tinieblo is an ultra premium mezcal handcrafted in the state of Tamaulipas at Rancho El Tinieblo, our family's 9,000 acre ranch and wildlife preserve where we grow and distill our agave.

Each plant is carefully grown with zero pesticides, insecticides, and harmful chemicals. As it takes at least 20 years for one plant to mature, for every one harvested, we plant 25 more. Under the guidance of our maestro mezcalero, we identify and harvest the best and ripest maguey, the base that will ensure each batch will result in a refined mezcal. Cooking maguey is a social and committed 24 hour process that brings everyone from the ranch together around the open-pit fire to watch the roasting of the pias over wood, rocks and earth. This whole process is done on our ranch so we can ensure our quality. Ritual dictates mezcal to be sipped leisurely in good company, served with orange slices and handmade Sal de Guzano (insect-based salts). Mezcal is for sacred consumption. Excess is a profanity.
