One of our most limited production items, Michter’s 10 Year Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye continues the legacy of America’s first whiskey variety (rye) from America’s first whiskey company (Michter’s, originally known as Shenk’s). After a nearly three year absence from the market, Michter’s then Master Distiller Willie Pratt finally gave the green light for the re-release of Michter’s 10 Year Straight Rye in April 2014.

This second Collector's Edition is presented in a porcelain bottle design by Cacao Rocks, a Greek street artist who has developed his own distinctive and vibrant creative style, using Greek symbols and folklore in a modern and contemporary way.

I had the honor of being asked by the House of Metaxa to design one of their iconic decanters. Inspired by my grandfather, I wanted to follow his path, re-visit the Cyclades and take pictures of their typical landscapes. This is how I created the new METAXA Grande Fine design, my own interpretation of Cycladic architecture, a tribute to my grandfather, says Cacao Rocks.

The decanter is decorated with patterns inspired by the windmills of Mykonos and other Cycladic symbols, using the artist's color palette: white for the Cycladic architecture, blue for the Aegean Sea and gold for the sun.

HOW IT'S MADE

Milled, mashed, fermented and distilled utilizing 100% rye grain, this spirit is matured for a minimum of two years in new oak barrels, then laid to rest in a former-fill cabernet barrel to impart a secondary finish. The result is a distinctive whiskey infused with the essence of fine red wine, creating a palate with complex notes of stone fruit, smoke, and spices. Dented Brick Limited Edition Barrel Finished Straight Rye Whiskey is brought to proof with artesian, limestone-filtered water sourced directly from the snowy and majestic Rocky Mountains, creating a unique flavor profile crafted from this pure and mineral rich water.

Drawing from a depth of experience, DeGroff brings forth a West Indies-inspired Amaro accented with Caribbean spices.

Thomas S. Moore Cognac Casks Bourbon Whiskey is a standout from Barton 1792 Distillery's renowned Thomas S. Moore line, released in March 2022. Part of the second batch, this bourbon undergoes a unique extended cask finishing process. Crafted from the distillery's high-rye bourbon recipes aged 5-6 years, it receives a finishing touch in cognac casks previously holding cognac for 6+ years. After 2-4 years of maturation, this exceptional blend is bottled at 93.4 proof.

All Natural, Vegan, Rich and Complex for a Refreshing light tropical Taste, 5 Times Distilled

Enjoy whiskey the way it was before prohibition with this small batch, limited-production spirit. Made from 95% rye, this whiskey is a true American classic perfect for fine cocktails and is completely hand-selected, blended and bottled in Texas.

The Sloe
Pacharán is traditionally made by macerating sloes in anise. The sloe, known as arañón in Navarre, is the fruit of the Prunus spinosa bush, which we commonly call blackthorn. It belongs to the plum family but is much smaller in size, smaller than cherries. It is bluish black in colour and has an acidic and astringent flavour.

Its lack of sweetness is surprising, which is why it has never been consumed as a fruit.

Tasting Notes
Pacharán Navarro is made by macerating sloes in aniseed and, therefore, in the glass of Pacharán Zoco we will find the characteristics of its two ingredients perfectly integrated. We pour the glass of Pacharán Zoco and at first sight it presents itself with that red colour so closely linked to Navarra. A medium-intensity red, with a cherry hue that will evolve to brick tones as the pacharán acquires maturity. When we swirl it in the glass we perceive the density provided by the anise in the thick tears that form in the glass. The aroma of Pacharán Zoco is softly fruity on an aniseed background.
