Tequila Mandala was founded on November 16, 2016 by Jose Joel Garcia Barreto, Arturo Lomeli Ibarra and Humberto Ibarra. The founders had the specific idea of bringing a unique, premium sipping tequila to the U.S. spirit market. Tequila Mandala’s hallmark, the Extra Añejo, comes in a hand-crafted, hand-painted ceramic bottle. The “MANDALA” is a powerful representational symbol that has had significance in most all regions of the world for thousands of years. It transcends borders, religions and cultures; it is essential to all humanity; its essence is both broad and powerful, derived from a circle to convey life’s infinite potential, with no beginning and no end. MANDALA AÑEJO

Spicy and luxurious

The mature, deep, spicy one: a deeper Sherry influence adds more spiciness and a liquorice tang. Greater age adds body and develops the distinctive fruitiness to a rich raisin character.

The Breckenridge Distillery is the “World’s Highest Distillery”. OBTAINIUM is exactly what the name implies. We “obtain” barrels from distilleries all over the world. Including the US, Europe, Canada, and The Caribbean. We source these spirits of varying types, light whiskey, rye, bourbon, etc. to create our own blends and products. These products are bottled at either barrel strength or blended to create our signature flavors. That being said, all of our creations, whether it’s a single barrel bottling or one of our blended products, will be unique either to that particular barrel or batch. No two will ever be “exactly” the same. We strive to ensure flavor consistency
throughout every batch of our blends to give our fans confidence and the comfort of familiarity. That paired with slight variances in each batch, brings a sense of anticipation for the next batch.

OBTAINIUM Light Whiskey came into existence in 1968 because consumers were moving away from Bourbon and more into clear spirits such as vodka or gin. Light whiskey is distilled between160-190 proof. Contrast that with Bourbon or American Rye which tops out at 160 proof. It must be aged in used, charred oak barrels or new, uncharred oak. Most distilleries didn’t let it age very long. Sourced from MGP in Indiana.

Meaning “aged” or “vintage”, is tequila that has been rested in small oak barrels for more than 1 year. Naked Diablo’s Añejo is aged to perfection in smaller batches for a minimum of 16 months in 10 year old Bourbon oak barrels. Rich, distinctive, and wonderfully smooth, this light amber tequila is full-bodied and strikes the perfect balance between bourbon, honey drizzle, peppercorn, toffee, agave, wood, and hints of vanilla. It is best experienced neat or simply on the rocks.

Avuá Oak Cachaça, following Brazilian tradition, is aged for up to 2 years in French Oak, or carvalho, previously used to age white wine. Carvalho, the most common wood used for cachaça-aging in Brazil, imparts notes of vanilla and butterscotch. Oak-aged cachaça finishes dry with a slight bitterness that has many layers for an exquisite sipping spirit. It is also the perfect base for stirred cocktails and tropical cocktails like the Mai Tai or Planter's Punch.

In 1953, the young Princess Elizabeth ascended the throne.
