A world-class collection of New Zealand made tonic waters and mixers. All-natural, low sugar, and inspired by a 1903 recipe. The spirit of exploration lies at the heart of East Imperial. We set out to be true to the quinine water found in the tumblers of the early pioneers and settlers in East Africa and East Asia at the turn of the last century. We began with a genuine family history, and worked with the best global distillers and bartenders to create a collection based on tradition with an obsession for exceptional drinking experiences.

Grapefruit Soda

We’ve created a dry pink Grapefruit Soda like no other, packed with zesty ruby red grapefruit. It’s the perfect complement to your favorite premium tequila, mezcal, rum or exceptional just on its own. We think it’s the best Grapefruit Soda for a Paloma.

AMBHAR Añejo is a delicately aged tequila, resting in premium whiskey oak barrels for over two years. The extended amount of aging produces its dark amber color and caramel-like notes. This spirit inherits unique flavors of soft and silky mixtures of vanilla and candied citrus peel. Its fuller body makes it a perfect ultra-premium tequila for sipping.

The original Wolfburn Distillery was founded in 1821 by William Smith, on the outskirts of Thurso in Caithness, Scotland. The distillery took its name from the watercourse it drew from, burn being the Scottish word for stream or small river. As Smith invested heavily in the distillery, it became a significant enterprise for the region tax records for the 19th century show it was the largest producer of malt Whisky in Caithness. The distillery was kept in the Smith family until at least the 1850s, when records become scarce and it's estimated that production began to cease (a survey map from 1972 depicts the distillery in ruin). After 150 years of neglect, a group of private investors stumbled upon the old Wolfburn Distillery in May, 2011 seeing massive potential, the investor began to rebuild the distillery from the ground up. The new Wolfburn Distillery, which, by law, must use water sourced from the same steam used centuries ago, is crafting unpeated malt Whisky from a blank canvas through old-fashioned pot-still distillation; no automation, no rush and a lot of care. Master Distiller Shane Fraser, formerly of Glenfarclas, says, My very first thoughts on what kind of spirit Wolfburn should be were that it should be a light and fragrant spirit. This would come about by a number of key processes; slow drainage of the mash tun to give a clear wort; long fermentations and a gentle distillation but keeping the spirit collection above 20C. When I first nosed the spirit I was very pleased and surprised at just how well it had turned out. Wolfburn Single malt aurora is mellow and golds, smooth and warming (producer). Aged in a combination of American oak and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks that together create a beautifully smooth, perfectly balanced Whisky. Inspired by the ethereal northern lights phenomena, Wolfburn's Aurora received 92 points at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2017.

Chamucos are believed to be dark, shadowy, creatures who appear in dreams and only visit briefly at night. Chamucos play bothersome, frightening and mischievous acts.Chamucos have a playful but secretive nature and they thrive on frightening with clever but mostly harmless pranks. Perhaps it’s the origin of the boogeyman.You may have been visited without knowing it. Some have been startled when awakened by the presence of the dark creature sitting at the edge of their bed watching as they slept. When spotted, the Chamuco will alway vanish into the darkest places. Our slogan, “Si amanece nos vamos” means, “If dawn comes, we will leave.”Frequent sighting are reported at distilleries. What is commonly referred to as the “Angel’s Share,” where mysterious losses from barrel aging occurs, is thought to be consumption by “Chamucos,” thus the origin of our brand name.

Chamucos Reposado Tequila

On entry it is very soft, silky mouth feel and well balanced with flavors of cooked blue agave, tropical fruit, vanilla, toffee, cinnamon spice, fennel and black pepper.Agave, fruit, vanilla and toffee, flavors linger. Finishes soft with the right amount of heat.

Vinification
Harvested by hand, the selection of ripening grapes in Freixenet's vineyards reaches across the span of several months. From the end of August for the harvest of the warm weather Macabeu grapes, through the beginning of October for the higher elevation Parellada variety, our winemaker awaits the perfect time to gather each bunch, letting the vines tell him when they are ready. The first fermentation is nurtured in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures between 57°- 60°F. Exclusively initiated from our own Freixenet cultures, the first fermentation is introduced into the tanks. After 10 to 12 days, the wine is racked and clarified as the blend is readied for bottling. The secondary fermentation finds the bottles of Cordon Negro cradled in the perfectly chilled caves for up to 18 months.

Palate
Cordon Negro Brut is a crisp, clean and well-balanced 'cava' sparkling wine. The fresh palate of apple, ripe pear and bright citrus flavors combine with a long finish and an exciting touch of ginger.

Serving suggestions
Pair Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut with anything from Eggs Benedict to seafood, such as lobster or bluefin tuna. It is also the perfect pre-prime rib cava selection for oyster, caviar, or sushi appetizers.

Código 1530 Rosa begins with the purity of our Blanco, then is rested for 1 month in uncharred Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels. The result is a refined spirit with a natural color as beautiful as its taste. Our Rosa has rested just long enough in our fine Cabernet barrels to enrich the natural agave juice, without overpowering its delicate botanical balance.

Production Notes

We source only the finest Napa Cabernet French White Oak barrels to age our Rosa.

We leave our Rosa barrels uncharred, allowing the Cabernet to interact directly with the tequila, imparting a subtle pink hue and light floral finish.

Mr Pickles is named after Master Distiller Ben Green’s pit bull rescue. One of them makes great gin. They both like belly rubs. We set out to make the best gin in the world, name it after the ‘goodest’ boy in the world, and then put his picture on the label. Don’t you just love when a plan comes together? 

TRIPLE-DISTILLED, BECAUSE DOUBLE-DISTILLED IS JUST LAZY
Have you ever tasted something so good it makes you a little annoyed? Like, why hasn’t this been in my mouth before? If you asked our distiller to describe the taste he might say Mr. Pickles is born from 100% soft, white winter wheat, mono-sourced just down the road at the Camas Country Mill.

The exceptionally soft base spirit is triple distilled with the final distillation including a vapor basket to introduce the botanicals. It leads with the same enlivening juniper notes you might encounter on a hike to majestic Mount Hood, which are quickly softened by 11 other botanicals, including sencha green tea, blood orange, pink peppercorns, and marshmallow root, revealing an approachable, aromatic, and sweet spirit reminiscent of Cascade Mountains meadows.

AÑEJO 
An authentic 100% Blue Weber Agave tequila made in the Traditional Method. Produced with fully mature 7-10 year agave from 50% Highlands and 50% Lowlands of Jalisco, slow-roasted in brick ovens, slow-fermented, never diffused, roller press extraction, double distilled, Bourbon Barrel Aged 18 months, and additive free.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Its roasted-pineapple opening aroma; more time in the glass allows a peppery almost viscus, floral perfume to develop. Nice aromas of toasted oak and vanilla bean also emerge.

Palate: palate entry shows roasted peppers, orange blossom, and tropical fruit. Then the mid-palate showcases luscious flavors of chocolate, orange, and sugar cookies.

Finish: Aftertaste is naturally sweet, sugary and long. A ton of chocolate, caramel, and dulce de leche flavors are very notable. This is the choice of the most sophisticated consumers searching for the full-body obtained from the more dominant wooden essence.

Tequila Casa Dragones and Pedro Reyes have teamed up to release a unique edition of Casa Dragones Joven tequila that showcases the traditional Mexican art of pepita glass engraving.
