What is more universally delicious than ripe fruit? Even the greatest chefs have been known to serve a simple dish of strawberries or a single, perfect peach as a dessert.

Orchard House gathers together some of the fruitiest malts Scotland has to offer, including whiskies from the Linkwood and Clynelish distilleries; what’s more, we have sourced many of these whiskies as new spirit and laid them down in our own oak casks. This, our monument to fresh fruitiness in Scotch whisky, has been many years in the making.

When neat or poured over a large ice cube, Orchard House makes for an outstanding pre-dinner malt. It will ably partner amber and pale ales, as well as swathes of soft cheeses. Welcome to our home among the fruit trees – the door is unlocked.

Aged 4 Years, this bourbon is sourced from the OZ Tyler/Green River Distillery in Kentucky where it spent the first 3.75 years of its life maturing into the full bodied Bourbon that drew us to this particular production run. Dark Amber in color, you will find salted caramel, baked pears or apples on the nose. The palate provides classic bourbon profile with honey, vanilla, and toasted oak present in each sip. The long finish is where this magic happens and tasting experience completes itself with a nice Kentucky Hug!

BELA (translated as “white”) is a clear and clean rakija od šljiva (plum rakija) made from a 50-50 blend of hyperlocal, handpicked Čačanska rodna and Čačanska lepotica plums, both native to the region of central/southern Serbia.

With a lower alcohol by volume than PRVA, BELA it is a clean, floral beverage, and gentle on the palate. Though abundant with fruit, it is also pleasantly dry and ridiculously easy to drink.

BELA is reminiscent of slivovitz from more northern European neighbors like Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, but with a distinctive nose and taste that, and in our opinion, just puts anything comparable to shame.

In a blind tasting at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, the judges agreed, and awarded it a double gold medal! This is a drink you can sip, slightly chilled like a grappa, and opens entirely new possibilities in the realm of cocktails.

Like our PRVA, BELA is a classic rakija procured through rigorously traditional processes, faithful to a heritage that goes back hundreds of years.

The flavor of Single malt whisky (Sherry type) shows floral, a hint of sulfury at the first, following by ripen banana, biscuit, plum, jam, woody and dark chocolate falvors. It has heavy, full, and sweet tastes like the flavor of caramel on the toast. Dired fruit, citrus cake flavor can be found in the after taste. It give the typical sherry cask whisky flavor performance. A hint of sulfury flavor change to smoky flavor rich the body and complexity of this whisky.

4 Grain Bourbon finished with a charred American Oak spire

The rich and intense style of Jamaica and Barbados, with their notes of plum, banana and vanilla, is enhanced by meticulous blending and further maturation, in France. The result is a profound structure spiced with notes of cinnamon and clove, whose smoky quality adds texture. An ideal companion for cocktails.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Hints of black peppercorn, clove, cinnamon, baked cherry, prune, molasses; later sniffs encounter forest, leaves, black tea, dry stone.

Palate: Entry is fruity with white raisins, dried pineapple, and is off-dry. midpalate is spicy, piquant, minerally, and significantly drier than the entry stage. Ends spicy.

A CHAMPAGNE OF VISIONARIES
It's a beautiful story, a story of men. That of Henri Macquart, the pioneer founder of the Centre Vinicole de la Champagne (The Champagne Wine Centre). That of Nicolas Feuillatte, a daring businessman. That of volunteer winegrowers who, together, dare and succeed in a gamble to create a brand of excellence, Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte.

Champagne is the only vineyard in France that authorizes the assembly of red and white to obtain rosé. This is why we speak of “blended” rosé. We, therefore, add to the still white wine, before drawing, the red wine from the m famous crus which produces red wine from AOC Champagne. The proportion of red wine is determined by our Cellar Master according to the desired aromatic characters and color.

This mixing takes place before the birth of the bubble (before the “second fermentation” in the bottle), in a word, before the Champagne is “Champagne”.

TASTING NOTES

COLOR: deep copper to mahogany

NOSE: browned butter, Cola, black currant and dried dates,

MOUTHFEEL: full and rich, chewy, spicy, creamy with nuts.

FINISH: long finish; dry, but with lingering impressions of butter crème, candied orange peel, and dark dried fruit.

A limited autumn release, crafted from unique heirloom barley varieties grown by the Cody family farm.
