The annual return of the Blue Corn Bourbon unveils a 4-year expression, boasting a potent 60.8% ABV and a finishing touch in Washington Cabernet and California Grenache puncheons. Its vibrant rustic scent evokes images of an oiled leather sofa, antique china cabinet, and candied pecans, accented by hints of black cherry ice cream and strawberry jam on scones, culminating in the aroma of cola adorned with orange peel.
As for the taste, the palate offers a long and intricate journey. LIMITED EDITION NAPA VALLEY RED WINE CASK 18 YEAR OLD

The 2023 release in this collection is rich and decadent and has a softening of the spice notes. The finishing in ex-Cabernet Sauvignon wine casks bestows seductive qualities elevating Aberfeldy’s signature smoothness.

CASK TYPE

18 years in a combination of re-f ill and hogshead casks, the whisky was then finished for a period of around 15 months in Cabernet Sauvignon red wine casks sourced from the Napa Valley, California USA.

Bottled at 43%, the Arran Barrel Reserve emphasises the delicious, sweet fruit notes which are the hallmark of our distillery. A fantastic discovery!

The brand new Arran Barrel Reserve is a fresh, light and elegant no-age-statement Single Malt Single Barrel Scotch Whisky. It is 100% matured in Bourbon Barrels and is going to become your go-to dram for every occasion - to be served neat, with ice or in a longer drink or cocktail.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Delicate apples and pears

Palate: Beautifully balanced citrus fruit and light vanilla sweetness with a burst of apple and delicate marine notes.

Finish: Sweetness, Spice, Charred Oak, Citrus, Vanilla.

This Cabernet has an herbal and floral nose, complemented by aromas of black cherry. The flavors are layered with tones of dried cherries, pomegranate and cocoa. The texture is rustic, yet silky, with a unique savory and long finish.

With the release of our 2021 vintage, our winemaker has ensured that our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has the layers, complexity, and energy seen in our signature mountain-inspired style. We include fruit from our Mount Veeder estate vineyards in the final blend to add complexity, character, and to ensure that our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is imbued with the style and character of the wines from our mountain estate.

Aging 18 months in new French oak (54%) and American oak (23%) and used oak (21%)

TASTING NOTES

Expressive on the nose with notes of baking spices, cedar, fig, and black cherry. Notes of brooding red fruit flood the palate—the wine is soft yet structured on the palate, with plush tannins, moderate acidity, and a long finish that lingers with notes of black tea and bramble.

Appearance: Shiny with impeccable clarity.

Aroma: Initially floral, with notes of lemon zest giving way to spicy juniper.

Palate: Delightfully citrus on the front palate with lemon zest. Mid-palate showcases the juniper with hints of cinnamon and green tea. Finish is nicely dry and floral with distinct notes of jasmine and lavender.

We are proud to announce the second annual release of Master Distiller Greg Metze’s Infinity Blend Series. A testament to legacy and supreme craftsmanship, this new limited release is built on the foundation of the original 2021 Infinity Blend and completed with gently matured and hand selected barrels of Old Elk Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Old Elk Straight Wheat Whiskey, and two vintage Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskeys.

This year’s annual release of the Infinity Blend exemplifies what makes infinity bottles so unique. Like enthusiasts who blend fractions of their favorites in an unmarked decanter over time, Greg has created this blend to showcase his legacy and supreme artisanship – akin to an autobiography of a long and distinguished career. The 2022 Infinity Blend becomes an occasion to remember each of the good times shared while looking forward to new opportunities forged over a glass of whiskey.
