Aged a minimum of 3 years in virgin oak casks in order to attain a wonderful harmony of peat and oak. 

Nose: A perfect balance of smoke and oak with plenty of peat up front. Inviting and intriguing but not over powering

Palate: Sweetly glazed BBQ meat and smoked beef jerky, with some oak and vanilla. The addition of water opens peppery and briny notes, followed by blackberry and apple pie.

This rich, deep, and opulent barrel-aged rum bears an extraordinary age statement backed up by craft pedigree and unrivaled complexity. Hailing from two singular distilleries, BHAKTA 1990 Jamaican Rum blends 1985 25 Year Jamaican column still rum from Clarendon/Monymusk (CHP) with 1990 23 Year Jamaican pot still rum from Appleton Estates (APEL). Fortuitously coupled in 2014, this exquisite blend of column- and pot-stilled rum enjoyed a further three years aging in second-fill MGP bourbon and rye barrels before earning its signature cask finish.

A delicious taste of cooked agave with wood notes. A delicate and natural taste. A highly complex taste as a result of aging in American Bourbon Whiskey barrels which have been burnt at medium range internally. The result is an ultra-smooth tequila with a variety of fruit, nuts and sweet notes.

Our Discovery Series has quickly gained a reputation for showcasing exquisite, innovative blends. Series #9 takes the spirit of discovery further by uncovering rare barrels of craft Georgia bourbon with a unique, elegant flavor. The blend is structured around this distinctive profile, adding classic Kentucky bourbon, 17-yr. Tennessee Whiskey, and a touch of sweetness from Canada. It is a combination of tradition and forward-thinking, large-scale and craft. The elements fold into one another remarkably, creating a robust, vibrant, one-of-a-kind pour.

TASTING NOTES

A decadent bouquet of cocoa nib, plum, and cedar box is highlighted by lively orange peel. Vanilla cream with cinnamon spice takes the lead on the palate, building to an indulgent, sublime finish.

Maker Notes

Our pioneering pink gin is sweet, flavorful and floral. Originally created for Valentine’s Day, it was loved by so many we decided to make it a permanent expression!

Our Head Distiller crafts Love Gin using raspberries and strawberries from Fife Fruits who are based at Tarvit Home Farm – just a 15-minute drive from our distillery. Alongside this, he uses goji berries, red rose petal and rhubarb root among other botanicals. This gin has a beautiful pink blush color and packs sweet vanilla and floral notes with a fruity finish.

Nose: Touch of warm spiced berries - strawberry, raspberries with sweet vanilla, and green fruits. Finishing with very delicate citrus pink grapefruit and floral rose petals.

Taste: Taste of rhubarb spice and sweet strawberries with vanilla, finishing with green apple citrus and a hint of rose water.

Finish: Sharp, sweet, and fruity with soft vanilla notes.

Best served with a premium tonic or rose lemonade and garnished with a handful of raspberries.
