Heaven's Door is an award-winning collection of hand-crafted American whiskeys developed in partnership with Bob Dylan. The perfect blend of art and craft, each bottle showcases Dylan's distinctive welded iron gates that he created in his metalworking studio, Black Buffalo Ironworks.

Comprised of a unique blend of three different whiskeys, the Heaven's Door Double Barrel finishing process utilizes hand toasted, new American Oak barrels for a secondary aging worthy of another year's wait. Double Barrel's high proof balances perfectly with the complexity of its flavor and notes of caramel, oak, citrus, and spice.

Heaven’s Door Straight Bourbon Whiskey is distilled and aged in Tennessee, for a minimum 6 years in new American oak barrels with a flavor profile of vanilla and baking spices layered over a bed of toasted oak. The sour mash distillation process and non-chill filleted bottling allows this mature whiskey to remain consistent, as well as creating reliable flavor profiles that come from being aged in single story warehouses.

Distilled and aged its entire life in Tennessee, this whiskey is non-chill filtered to preserve its mature flavors. The result is smooth and lasting with notes of vanilla and baking spices layered over a bed of toasted oak.

Frederick Durant and Willis & Joseph Booth moved into their family home beside the Oakville Mercantile & General Store in 1904. The store has provided provisions to the miners, farmers, ranchers and pioneers since it was founded at the Oakville Crossroads. Durant & Booth transformed the space into a grocery store and wine merchant for the Napa Valley and ran the store for over 40 years. During prohibition, they offered provisions for the out-of-town visitors seeking bootlegged wine and liquor. Continuing the legacy of Durant & Booth offering the finest selections from prestigious locations, we are proud to present this Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. This is Stolen Smoked Rum. This rum is inspired by wanderlust, one of our favorite lusts.It's the world's first smoked rum. It's made in Trinidad from locally sourced sugar cane. It's column-distilled and aged for at least two years in ex-whiskey barrels made from American oak. Additional flavor is imbrued into the rum using 100% Arabica coffee beans from Columbia, fenugreek seeds from Morocco, and vanilla beans from Madagascar.

Stolen Smoked Rum is a smooth, medium body rum with a generous bouquet. On the palate, the deep profile of coffee, vanilla, warm caramel and dark chocolate mix with lingering notes of charred oak for a long, smooth, smoky finish.

In 1897, Frederick Durant and Willis and Joseph Booth formed a partnership and took over the Oakville Mercantile & General Store at the Oakville Crossroads. By 1904, the sale of the store and the Victorian home was finalized and Durant and Joseph Booth moved in. Over the next several years, they transformed the destination into a grocery store for the Napa Valley. Today, the historic family home stands at the gateway of one of the unsurpassed wine regions of the world and the home is one of the finest homes from the era.

THE VINTAGE
2020 kicked off with ideal growing conditions. Mild temperatures led to evenly developed clusters and an early budbreak was followed by a warm to hot summer. Low winter rains resulted in smaller berries with concentrated flavors. Harvest started in early August and all things pointed to normal yields and exceptional fruit quality.

WINEMAKER’S NOTES
Harvested in the cool morning hours from valley floor vineyards across Napa Valley, the grapes were hand sorted and underwent extended maceration before aging in a combination of bourbon and American oak barrels. Bourbon barrels have a heavier toast which imparts a light smoky note on the nose and highlights the characteristics that are synonymous with the spirit. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, dark red in the glass and opens with aromas dark cherry and plum that spring from the glass. This is a full-bodied wine, filled with flavors of blackberry, cherry, caramel and spice. Aged in Bourbon barrels, flavors of brown sugar, sweet vanilla, baking spice and hints of toasted oak are textured throughout the palate. Balanced with fine-grained tannins, the finish is long and smooth.

Rested 1 Month

Código 1530 Rosa begins with the purity of our Blanco, then is rested for 1 month in uncharred Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels. The result is a refined spirit with a natural color as beautiful as its taste. Our Rosa has rested just long enough in our fine Cabernet barrels to enrich the natural agave juice, without overpowering its delicate botanical balance.

Production Notes

We source only the finest Napa Cabernet French White Oak barrels to age our Rosa.

We leave our Rosa barrels uncharred, allowing the Cabernet to interact directly with the tequila, imparting a subtle pink hue and light floral finish.

Leads with bright agave character and finishes with the soft red wine notes of Cabernet.

Aged 6 Months

Código 1530 Reposado combines the purity of our Blanco and the elegance of our aging process. Aged for six months in the finest Napa Valley Cabernet French White Oak wine barrels, Código 1530 Reposado embraces the agave-driven flavors of Los Bajos tequila, with subtle hints of many of the signature flavors found in whiskeys.

Our barrels are charred by hand, on-site at our private distillery in Amatitán.

We age our tequila to taste instead of time, adhering to a time-honored family aging process.

DeLen Aejo is aged to perfection. Made from 100% highland blue weber agave, slow roasted for remarkable depth and complexity. Blending the art of Tequila with mastery of French wine making, DeLen Aejo is aged for over a year, first in American Oak barrels and finished in French Oak wine casks. The result is a full-bodied tequila with notes of rich vanilla, caramel, sweet oak and subtle dried fruit.

As great whiskey makers throughout the world from Kentucky to Scotland have long known, it takes sweet water from tough rock to make great whiskey. And, that's what Widow Jane Whiskey is all about.

When rye comes off the still it is sweet, grassy, and floral. A traditional 'spicy characteristic all come from the barrel. With this whiskey, our goal was to lightly oak and round out the rye distillate in our once-used 10-year bourbon barrels with added fresh cut oak staves.

The result is an intense flavor balanced with warm spice.
This is a light, tropical 'summer rye and makes for some great cocktails. A good bitter, or a splash of vermouth or ginger beer goes a long way.

While London Dry gins are typically dominated by juniper flavoring, Bluecoat presents a complex, yet light and refreshing citrus blend, comprising primarily of sweet citrus and lemon peels.

TASTING NOTES

The barrel finishing process enhances the rounder, softer notes and introduces hints of caramel and whiskey without sacrificing juniper or pepper notes. The process marries the flavors together creating a truly unique gin providing an amazingly fragrant and vibrant yet mellow gin.

Brenne Ten is an extremely limited annual release marrying about four different hand-selected barrels. The spirit is fermented and distilled in alembic Charente stills and aged for a decade in a combination of new French Limousin oak and Cognac casks. Brenne Ten shares the Estate Cask’s DNA, but features a deeper, striking richness. On the palate: creamy fruit-forward taste with notes of dried fruits, chili spice, and dark chocolate.

A mezcalero's mezcal made from Agave Espadn tells a lot about that mezcalero's style and craftsmanship. Because specific notes cant be attributed to different agave types, the characteristics of a mezcal Espadn can be very indicative of the hand of the maker.

This expression of Espadn is made by the hand of Aquilino Garcia Lopez at his paleque in the remote village of Candelaria Yegole. Aquilino cultivates his Agave Espadn in the hills above his palenque, located on the border of the Central Valley and Sierra Sur regions of Oaxaca. He stone grinds the pinas after an underground roast lasting upwards of five days.
Aquilino's mezcals are twice distilled with a copper still.
