Similar to Canadian and Irish whiskey, Creek Water is carefully crafted in Durham, North Carolina using a bourbon mash of 21% rye, 4% malt, 75% corn. Aromas of tobacco and maple syrup fill the air while the deep copper color draws you in.

Featuring a slightly charred front-end with spicy hints of cinnamon and traditional oak followed by a short, smooth finish.

This highly unique American blended whiskey is made entirely from local New York State grains and patiently aged in hand-picked oak barrels.  Made of nothing but 100% American whiskey, it is subtly matured and expertly blended to perfection. This distinguished straight rye whiskey is hand-crafted from rye and other grains which are 100% locally grown in New York State. Aged two to three years, this rye begins its journey in new American oak barrels and is then finished for at least one year in used Cabernet Sauvignon barrels.  Notably bottled at cask strength, this impressive rye is incredibly complex and compares favorably to even the most prestigious names in the category.

Hatozaki was named after the oldest stone lighthouse in Japan, a symbol of safety and guidance listed as a Historical Monument. With a design strongly inspired by the delicate naturalistic art of the Edo era (1603-1868), Hatozaki also incorporates a deep respect for the whisky of Scotland, the country that pioneered the spirit.

Hatozaki Finest Blended Japanese Whisky is a wise choice for both highballs and straight pours, this product, with a minimum malt whisky content of 40%, has a delicate roundness with a rich backbone of malt whisky, offering cereal notes and a gentle sweetness. Aged for up to 12 years and created through a two-stage blending process, it is never colored or unchill-filtered.

Properties
Unpeated, delicate and floral. It offers a balanced feel in the mouth, with an aromatic palate and floral notes. The style is elegant and light, carrying significant depth from the malted barley.

Rated 90 in Whisky Advocate - Taconic Distillery's Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is the product of a collaboration with Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse. Freshly dumped Bourbon barrels are sent to Catskill Mountain Sugarhouse who fills them with their New York Grade A Organic Maple Syrup. After a few months of aging, the barrel aged maple syrup is bottled and sold. Those same barrels are then immediately refilled with bourbon. After a few months of soaking up the sweetness, the annual release of their Double Barrel Maple Bourbon is produced. 

The initial sweetness lingers with the earthiness of the barrels, resulting in a slightly sweet butteriness which is unmistakable.

Aged a minimum of 5 years at 90 proof.

Since the early 1900’s we've been known for exploring the ways in which different casks can influence our whisky and this single malt is an outstanding example of our experimental style. Matured first in American oak casks in the traditional Glen Moray way, it is then finished in Chardonnay white wine casks. These casks layer tropical fruit and warm spice on our whisky's classic vanilla notes, culminating in this sweetly approachable dram.

New Riff Distilling’s core Bourbon expression is a genuinely high-rye, full bodied whiskey offering savory, spicy character. Building upon America’s 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act-already the highest quality standard for aged spirits in the world-New Riff Bourbon is Bottled In Bond Without Chill Filtration. Featuring a mash bill of non-GMO grains at 65% corn,30% rye, and 5% malted barley, it represents a new riff on Kentucky’s most hallowed whiskey traditions. Aged four years in 53-gallon toasted and charred new oak barrels, there are no shortcuts taken in our production. All New Riff whiskeys are made with the full sour mash Kentucky Regimen; all carry an age statement, and are always bottled without chill filtration.

TASTING NOTES

Appearance: Extra rich, unfiltered deep amber color.

Nose: Butterscotch rounding into fresh oak, with hints of vanilla and rye spice.

Taste: Broad, fulsome mouthfeel, leading to a sweeter vanilla accent, before a gathering of rye spices (clove, cinnamon, mint, dark berry) into the finish.

Finish: Long, rye-led finish, with brambly red-black fruits amid white pepper and clove.

Allen Katz, co-founder of New York Distilling Co., together with Tom Potter, founder of Brooklyn Brewery, Katz opened the doors to the 5,000 square-foot New York Distilling Co. facility in Brooklyn (the distillery straddles the neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Greenpoint one door to the distillery opens up to the Williamsburg zip code and the other to the Greenpoint zip code) in 2011. Since its launch, the distillery has produced a number of highly innovative and original spirits. This Ragtime Rye is the passion project of the New York Distilling Company. A longtime goal came to life as their whiskey came of age, in 53-gallon new, charred American oak barrels. The distillery's lineup includes several innovative releases including this Ragtime rye. This spirit spent 3.5 years in the barrel, handcrafted from a mash of 72% rye, 16% corn and 12% barley.
