To celebrate its 50th Anniversary, Tres is offering a unique liquid to pay homage to Don Francisco Javier Sauza’s original recipe, which he crafted in honor of three generations of family distilling. Using traditional processes, this 100% agave liquid is aged 14 months in specially selected American Oak barrels treated and charred-in house. This rare release is displayed in a green ceramic bottle inspired by the Don's original 1973 decanter that put tequila on the world stage.

Campbeltown, the whisky capital of the world
Campbeltown has three fully operational single malt distilleries all located in the town itself, this makes it one of Scotland’s recognized whisky-producing regions. The town is situated on the Kintyre peninsula, near the famous Mull of Kintyre, some 240 km from Glasgow. It is a historic Royal Burgh and has been occupied for over 8000 years. Once home to a big fishing fleet, there were also no less than 34 legal distilleries established here during the 19th century, earning the town the nickname “The Whisky Capital of the World”. By 1925, with the closing of the Reichlachan and Glengyle Distillery, Springbank and Glen Scotia were the only distilleries left.  The opening of Mitchells Glengyle Distillery on 25th March 2004 increased the number of distilleries in Campbeltown to three, allowing the town to legitimately reclaim its place amongst the great whisky producing regions.

TASTING NOTES

Nose: Opens up to reveal citrus notes, vanilla cheesecake, rhubarb and custard sweets with delicate peat smoke.

Palate: Freshly baked Bramley apple pie and sweet salted caramel. The peat is prolific yet well integrated. A fresh coastal influence evokes memories of a blustery, busy, sea sprayed harbour.

Finish: Long and creamy. Notes of toasted oak and pencil shavings give way to a lasting sweet, fruity peat smoke.

Kystin Secrèt Ice Cider is produced by letting apples freeze on the tree in orchards in Sweden.  The frozen apples are then picked and transported whole to Brittany where Sasha Crommar presses the apples, then ferments and filters the pressed apple juice, transforming into this magical elixir.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Initial nosing passes are orange blossom, with some basil evolving to hazelnut & nutmeg.

Palate: Palate entry is properly tart, acidic and lean; mid-palate features a strong firmly structured texture and flavor of honey oak, and vanilla bean yet with herbal agave notes still present.

Finish: Finishes long, with both some toffee and vegetal notes. A reposado whose naturally sweet disposition is its finest asset.New Paragraph

In the early 1970s, German universities popularized a delectable concoction made from apple juice and grain spirit (korn), which soon became the favored choice for igniting parties. The delightful "Apfelkorn" cocktail was subsequently introduced as a pre-mixed offering, conveniently available in various bottle sizes. Situated near one of Germany's renowned fruit-growing regions, the Schoenauer Distillery was among the trailblazers in distributing Apfelkorn to retailers and bars.

This 15 years straight bourbon features rye spice, hints of cherry, vanilla, and oak.

Maker Notes

ARTISANAL DOUBLE BARREL: Puntagave Artisanal Double Barrel is a limited-edition extension to our Ultra-Premium Artisanal line. This special edition was created in collaboration with Mexican artists COCOLVU, numbered editions are a program to showcase our search for great tasting profiles and we plan to make one batch every year. 

This first edition of Puntagave Double Barrel is the product of a two-step aging process. The first involves aging the tequila in used American oak barrels for 1 year. Then we transfer half of the batch to a New American oak barrel using the Pennsylvania famous "Nadalie cooperative" Symphony toast barrels. Meanwhile, the other half goes to new French oak barrels (Natalie, Expression Rouge) from the forest of Allier France for another year. After that we blend them together to create this unique offering. This extra aging creates a tequila with an extremely rich texture, pleasant and complex aromas, and a dark amber color. The complexity that the double barrel acquires does not lose the cooked agave, spice, and floral notes you get intensified in our silver expression. Recommended pouring in a rock glass. Add nothing. Experience the best of both worlds.

Exuding an aromatic, mineral, and lively character, the Market Collection Pinot Gris 2022 Wine offers subtle citrus and floral notes. It boasts a dry palate with crisp acidity, delivering a fresh and lively mouthfeel dominated by citrus flavors, including lemon, lime, orange, and grapefruit, ending on a floral note with hints of freshly sliced green apple. The grapes underwent a lengthy, cool fermentation with skin contact in stainless steel at 15°C (59°F) for three weeks. This wine is perfect for sipping on its own or paired with light fare like hummus, grilled veggies, seasonal salads, fruit, grilled chicken, and seafood, making it an ideal choice for relaxed gatherings and picnics. The 2020 vintage has been a silver lining for Ontario wine enthusiasts, marked by ideal weather conditions and fruitful vineyards at the Pillitteri Estate.

Tanduay has been crafting Asian rum since 1854, bringing a mysterious Eastern twist to the spirit. Headquartered in the Philippines, its origins go back to a distillery from Hagonoy, Bulacan, that was bought in 1856 by Ynchausti y Compaia, a multi-national company that was owned by the Ynchausti family, the seal of which still decorates their bottles today. By the 1900s the production had moved to the Manila distillery, and the brand Tanduay Rhum was formed, named after the area in which the distillery was located. The rum was produced in the significantly upgraded distillery in Manila until 2013, when it was decommissioned and the production moved to a much larger facility in the Philippines, capable of producing 100,000 cases each day. Since 1999 Tanduay Distillers, Inc. is owned by LT Group, Inc. In 2011, Tanduay was the 7th largest spirits brand in the world. Today their operation spans 4 plants that take care of aging, compounding, and bottling. At the heart of their lineup is an award-winning 5-year-old rum that matures in charred oak barrels. The brand has received over a hundred various awards over the years and sells over 20 million cases each year, making it one of the best-selling rum brands in the world. Tanduay Double Rum is a blend of rums that are aged between 5 and 16 years. After their initial period of aging, they are blended together and left to marry for an additional 2 years in ex-bourbon barrels, which gives the different juices time for the aromas and flavors to come together. This deluxe offering from Tanduay is bottled at 80 proof and has an exquisite balance of dried tropical fruits, nutty overtones, as well as vanilla and oak notes.
