Our vodka’s cobalt blue color is all-natural. It comes from the infusion of butterfly pea flowers post-distillation. The flowers have a delicate pH that reacts to acidity by transforming into a royal purple and then a delicate pink.

Unicorn Butterfly Pea Vodka has a naturally soft floral aroma, vibrant cobalt color, smooth body and pleasant finish.

Our distilled ethanol is mixed with water from the Cedar River Watershed — in the snowy foothills of the Cascade Mountains, just east of Seattle. The spirit is then filtered through activated carbon to remove impurities and infused with butterfly pea flowers, rose hips and tangerine peels.

THE BENROMACH STORY

We are a traditional Speyside distillery owned by a family of whisky-lovers intent on making single malt the right way with true character.

We keep things simple. A handful of distillers relying entirely on our expertise and senses to make the finest handmade whisky; Speyside single malt matured exclusively in first-fill casks, with a subtly smoky character. It takes just four ingredients – barley, water, yeast, and a human touch.

All of our casks are hand-filled, individually weighed, stenciled by hand, and stowed in our traditional dunnage warehouses. Why? Because at Benromach we believe making whisky by hand guarantees genuine character.

OUR HISTORY

Our family, the Urquharts of Elgin, have always been passionate about whisky. Our ancestor John began laying down casks of single malt at different distilleries in 1915, when everyone else was blending their whiskies.

It was the realization of a long-held dream when we acquired Benromach Distillery in 1993. Five years of meticulous refitting of the distillery followed before HRH Prince Charles officially reopened our doors in 1998.

Time well spent creating a style of single malt reminiscent of the days before commercial maltings. A time when Speyside distilleries malted their own barley using peat to fuel the fires and impart a distinctive touch of smoke to their whiskies. The resurrection of Benromach Distillery signaled the rediscovery of a lost style of Speyside single malt.

Mezcal is a traditional Mexican beverage, steeped in history, created by fermenting and distilling the heart (piña) of the agave (maguey) with a process passed down through centuries by the people who live where agave grows.

With this method in mind, we wanted to create the best mezcal in Los Angeles and all surrounding areas. As the San Francisco World Spirits Competition winner of 2021, we dedicate our days to producing a traditional, artisanal and ancient spirit.

La Luna Mezcal originates in one of the most abundant regions in Mexico, with its untamed ocean, vast avocado groves, and forest sanctuaries harboring Monarch butterflies. Michoacán also has a rich cultural history of craftsmanship. The story of this land continues with La Luna and outstanding artisanal products that pay homage to a beautiful state.

Made mostly from cultivated A. cupreata, this is an expression ideal for introducing tasters to mezcal. Its bright, floral nose, citrus flavors, smooth textures, and delicate touch of smoke make it ideal for cocktails.

Central to the flavor profiles created at El Pandillo is the source of water used and in the case of Terralta, it all comes from a deep well, 150 meters down in the earth. What does this mean for flavor? To answer this question, we will first have to talk about the two other water sources at the distillery for contrast.

First, there is the harvested rain water, and secondly, a fresh spring. These two sources are used in a close to 50/50 ratio for 3 of the 4 other brands made at El Pandillo - Pasote, G4, and ArteNOM. The flavors here are clean and crisp, as one would expect from rain water, backed by floral and herbal notes. Volans, the 4th brand produced at 1579 is a blend of spring and well water, and it’s here where the minerality of the earth encasing the deep well begins to come through. But in Terralta, as it’s only source for water, the soil and earth are king.

Where the other profiles are lofty and light, you’ll find Terralta firmly secured in the ground from which the agave grow. The soils of Los Altos are rich in iron, giving them a red coloring, and softness compared to the rockier soils of the Valley of Tequila.

Clean, floral and fruity, our blanco tequila is equally impressive sipped alone or mixed into a colorful cocktail. An un-aged award-winner, Azuñia Blanco Organic Tequila boasts agave, lemon and tropical fruit flavors, finishing off with notes of light pepper and citrus. Dubbed the world’s best Reposado tequila, Azuñia Reposado Organic Tequila rests in American oak barrels for up to eight months before making its way to your table or soiree. Boasting a light agave aroma and hints of butterscotch, oak, smokiness and caramel, it offers a smooth, slight vanilla finish ideal for sipping on its own or blending into a tequila mule or similar tequila cocktail.

Espanita Anejo is aged for 18 months in small American oak casks previously used in Bourbon production. The result is the luxuriously smooth liquor rich in vanilla and caramel notes, which still retains its charming, honeyed flavors of slowly roasted Agave.

Espanita Anejo is designed to be sipped and savored. We recommend to use either a Glencairn whiskey glass or a stemmed brandy glass. Narrowed, tulip- shaped brim of the snifter allows you to immerse yourself in tequila’s delectable aromas in order to better appreciate the complex character of Espanita Anejo.

COLOR: Pale amber color, superb purity.

AROMA: Succulent, wafting bouquet with whiffs of aromatic honey oak that gives way to a rich nuanced roasted agave aroma with traces of citrus tree wood, almond nougat and caraway.

FLAVOR: Luscious and velvety entry. A slightly chewy, fruity, sweet medium-to-full body redolent of thick honey and fresh grass, vanilla, toasted marshmallow with notes of sassafras and apple.

FINISH: Smooth and long finish with rich flavors of honey, black tea, coconut flesh, banana and candy corn with apple and peppermint accents.

COCKTAILS: Excellent in Tequila Old Fashioned, Tequila Manhattan, Tequila Sour and Tequila Sidecar.

Seeks to remember the historical flavors of Tequila and reaffirm the sweet flavor that Agave Tequilana Weber gives. It is a product with 100% juice extraction in Tahona, a pre-Hispanic stone that was used years ago to grind agave, resulting in more complex aromas and flavors.

• View: Crystalline and Transparent.
• Smell: Very refreshing aromas like mint and some citrus. Keeps the soft and persistent notes of cooked agave.
• Flavor: With its 42% alcohol vol. It is a Tequila composed of various elements mainly of sweet and herbal touches that are characteristic of the Valleys Zone.

Double distilled in traditional pot stills. Rested in ex Bourbon oak casks for 8 months, to achieve a well balanced tequila reflecting a subtle balance between Agave and wood spices, without losing its freshness.

An un-aged 100% agave tequila, which reflects the purest expression of the 100% pure agave flavour.

TEQUILA BLANCO - JALISCO - Tequila Blanco is a unique recipe where under-cooking the agave and extensive oxygenation takes place in a secret engineered process in order to find the perfect balance of smoothness and crisp notes of fruit. Puntagave Artisanal is bottled at a 82 proof and it took 52 different tweaks by Maestro Tequilero Gillermo Barroso to yield this unique profile for the most demanding palates.

Tasting Notes: Utterly clean and clear, with exquisite green fruit aromas , the first impression of this fresh balanced agave tequila is crisp and clean, green apple, fruit with zesty citrus that dominates the foreground. A surprisingly long finish that’s decidedly clean. The distinctive fresh agave taste deliciously lingers on, flecked with hints of white pepper.

Gerardo Ruelas, the fourth generation of his family as sotol producers, presents our Vivorá label, which embodies our interpretation of a long-standing tradition passed down through generations as a medicinal remedy. This unique concoction combines avocado infused with micro-doses of viper venom and is aged alongside cooked sotol pineapples.

Tasting Notes

Appearance: The Vivorá label exhibits a pale gold color with clean and bright characteristics, accompanied by greenish reflections.

Aroma: It boasts a pronounced aromatic intensity with prominent notes of green tea, lemon grass, prickly pear, and papalo quelite, complemented by a subtle smokiness.

Palate: On the palate, it presents a refined and elegant entry, offering a silky texture and a well-integrated alcohol presence. A slight spicy sensation lingers on the tip of the tongue.

Pairing: This sotol pairs excellently with dishes such as meatballs in tomato broth, maguey worms tacos, and is best enjoyed alongside fresh guacamole and quelite papalo leaves. Additionally, roasted chapulines with lime make for a delightful accompaniment.

Awards: The Vivorá label was honored with the Silver Medal at the Wine & Spirits competition in 2018.

INSPIRED BY THE OLD-WORLD TECHNIQUES OF SCOTTISH AND IRISH WHISK(E)Y DISTILLERS WHERE MUCH OF THE MAGIC LIES WITH THE ART OF BLENDING. 
We borrowed and twisted many of these techniques to produce Doc’s Alter Ego Bourbon. Our goal was to take good whiskies, blend them together and see how we could enhance these blends as well as maintain the flavor of the whiskey itself. After years of finishing whiskies in a variety of casks, we believe we have struck success using Olorosso Sherry, Pedro Ximenez Sherry, and Cognac casks from a number of curated producers. 

Whether accentuating or layering in characteristics, we believe these techniques enhance the spirit and still focuses on the bourbon. These casks allow the delicate characteristics of past occupants to mingle and marry with the smooth yet bold aspects of Doc’s Straight Bourbons. Each release is then meticulously blended and married in ex-Cognac Foeders prior to bottling. Our finishing and blending techniques impart a dry nuttiness, subtle sweetness, and an extended finish to an already great whiskey, while still allowing the bourbon to shine.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Crakers jacks, caramel, nut brittle, dark cherries and chocolate-covered caramels

Taste: Marzipan, bright cherry, spearmint, whipped cream, spice cinnamon, and numteg

The violet (Viola odorata) is a species of flowering plant with purple or white flowers, native to Europe, Asia and North Africa, which belongs to the Violaceae family. It is known for its medicinal properties and many benefits, including expectorant and anti-inflammatory. In the language of flowers, the violet symbolizes shy and secret love. The violet is often used in confectionery, and sometimes in pastry, for syrups, liqueurs and in perfumery. Created in the 19th century, crème de violette peaked at the end of the century. Today, popular cocktails made with crème de violette include Aviation and Blue Moon.

Tequila Gran Dovejo is a small-batch, traditionally crafted, tequila made from 100%  of the finest, estate grown blue agaves that are exclusively grown and produced in the highlands of Jalisco by the Feliciano Vivanco Family. The acidic, iron rich soil in this region known as the golden triangle of the highlands, is ideal for growing large agaves with high sugar content. At peak maturity the agave is harvested, the heart of the agave (pina) is hand selected, then slowly cooked in traditional brick ovens for a minimum of 36 hours at a temperature of 194 degrees Fahrenheit. Once roasted, they are milled in order to extract the sweet juices. The juices are isolated and then fermented with the use of “Prise de Mousse”, champagne yeast, and wild yeast strands pulled from the estate agaves themselves.

Anejo: Aged an average of 2 years in used bourbon barrels, bottled at 80 Proof.
