As great whiskey makers throughout the world from Kentucky to Scotland have long known, it takes sweet water from tough rock to make great whiskey. And, that's what Widow Jane Whiskey is all about.

When rye comes off the still it is sweet, grassy, and floral. A traditional 'spicy characteristic all come from the barrel. With this whiskey, our goal was to lightly oak and round out the rye distillate in our once-used 10-year bourbon barrels with added fresh cut oak staves.

The result is an intense flavor balanced with warm spice.
This is a light, tropical 'summer rye and makes for some great cocktails. A good bitter, or a splash of vermouth or ginger beer goes a long way.

Brenne Ten is an extremely limited annual release marrying about four different hand-selected barrels. The spirit is fermented and distilled in alembic Charente stills and aged for a decade in a combination of new French Limousin oak and Cognac casks. Brenne Ten shares the Estate Cask’s DNA, but features a deeper, striking richness. On the palate: creamy fruit-forward taste with notes of dried fruits, chili spice, and dark chocolate.

In flavour, the expression offers sumptuous notes of dark fruits, rich chocolate and manuka honey with an enveloping, memorable finish worthy of this monumental malt’s history. This luxuriously sherried Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is bottled at 46% ABV and natural in colour.

TASTING NOTES

APPEARANCE: Antique Bronze.

NOSE: An intoxicating burst of maraschino cherry, ripe bramble and dark chocolate mint with hints of orange bitters and walnut liqueur.

PALATE: Honey-glazed apricot and ripe fig with a crescendo of black cherry, angelica and muscovado. Long and enveloping finish with dark manuka honey, herbal bitters and dark chocolate.

Breaker Bourbon is a sourced whiskey from MGP in Indiana where it is distilled and aged. The whiskey is blended and bottled in California. Aged for a minimum of 5 years, the whiskey is blended from 8 barrels to make each batch. The mashbill used is corn, rye, and malted barley. Ascendent Spirits, located in Buellton, California is distilling whiskey, but at the moment only have corn whiskey and flavored moonshine available.

"From the moment you pour it into the glass, you smell all of the traditional bourbon aromas: maple, vanilla, coconut, char smoke. The palate is much the same with the char smoke and barrel spices really making their impact on the finish. The whiskey is soft and moderately full so the whiskey ends with a gentle glide rather than a skid-mark leaving stop."

What gives Ledaig 18 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky its intensely complex character First, peat-dried malted barley is married with aromatic water, drawn from Tobermory Distillery's private water source on the rugged Isle of Mull. Matured in superior oak wood casks and finished in Spanish sherry wood casks the result is a wonderfully peated single malt, robust and vibrant with a spicy smokiness, floral seaside aromas and hints of liquorice and cloves. This Ledaig 1996 Vintage Single Malt Scotch Whisky is some of the first spirit distilled when peated single malt production commenced at Tobermory Distillery in 1996. Peat-dried malted barley is married with naturally peat infused water from the distillery's private water source, a dark aromatic lochan, high in the mountains above the village of Tobermory, ensuring an intense smoky flavorsome character. Matured in superior Oloroso sherry casks the result is a wonderfully peated single malt, with apple and a hint of mint with citrus aromas. These disappear into the dark as the peaty embers glow into a smoky finale.

Distilled and filled into cask in the summer of 1998, this delicious Ledaig was matured for almost 6 yearsbefore being transferred to Oloroso Sherry casksin the summer of 2004for a further 13 years.

Our 12 year old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky was the beginning of our Bunnahabhain range, launched to fanfare and praise alike. Non-chill filtered and natural colour, taste the origins of Bunnahabhain with an alluring balance of sweet fruit, nuts, vanilla and a delicate coastal influence.

Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old holds a special place in our hearts. First launched in 1979, the Bunnahabhain 12 year old has endured almost 40 years, thanks to the passion and dedication of our distillery team, not to mention the love and support from our fans and friends around the world.

Our 12 Year Old has set the tone and the benchmark for the rest of the range – only the best will do. Double Matured in Ex Bourbon and Ex Sherry Casks, this whisky is beautifully rich and full-bodied, achieving the perfect balance of the characteristic nutty and sherry flavours of Bunnahabhain.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Russet gold

Nose: Fresh and aromatic, fruity floral with hints of dried fruit and a subtle prevalence of smoke.

Palate: Light with fruit notes, nutty flavours with a sweetness and slight hints of vanilla and caramel.

Finish: Lingering, beautifully rich and full-bodied.

One of the ‘super-premium’ members of our core range and another heavy hitter in the awards department, like all of our single malts, this is non-chill filtered and natural colour.

With a strong sherry influence, our 25 Year Old is the perfect example of how well Bunnahabhain matures and the extent of the complex range of sweet oaky layers and nutty flavours which can be achieved by those few extra years in cask.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Amber gold

Nose: Scents of rich sherry, blossoming into sweet caramel and polished leather.

Palate: An initial taste of sweet berries and cream that evolves into a feast of roasted nuts and malt.

Finish: Soft and dry with a delicate hint of sweet sugar and spiced oak that linger long on the tongue.

Deanston is an artisan whisky, one that is crafted the traditional way. The best Scottish ingredients are sourced to help create this unique single malt. Being located on the banks of the River Teith, the distillery is blessed with an abundance of pure, fresh water.
